They replaced it, but then the second one they put on, they broke. I pointed out this fracture in the crystal to them and they told me that it was a hairline scratch from putting it on. I mean just by looking at it you can tell it's a fracture... so I went and got the watch pressure tested somewhere else and, lo and behold it failed pressure test from the fractured crystal. Don't waste your time here. This store is unprofessional and sloppy with their work. Would've been fine if you apologized and put a new crystal on, but lying to my face trying to gaslight me into thinking a fracture is a hairline scratch is just low and scummy.

Macy's, even on sale were ridiculously pricey. Kay didn't have any that large. I was unfamiliar with Benchmark Jewelers and almost didn't stop in but I figured, what the heck. Although none were on display, the gentleman, Mak said he had a catalog where they could special order. The initially quoted price for 60mm endless hoops was a bit more than I was allowing myself to spend and I was about to say thanks but no thanks. Mak then sweetened the deal. I went for it and crossed my fingers since I was buying sight unseen. The earrings came in on day three. They look great but are extremely thin...probably the thinest hoops I have ever owned. They are beautiful but I'm hoping they are more durable than they look because I want to be comfortable wearing them freely without worry. Fingers crossed and just to be on the safe side I decided to go for the third party insurance to protect my investment. Based on this experience I would recommend Benchmark Jeweler's and plan to go back for a nice gold bangle bracelet.

Upon making the purchase, we were informed that the ring would be ready a week before our wedding so that we would have time to pick it up and make sure everything looked good. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOTTTTT bring your watches here…read more After nearly two months, all we got was a battery change, despite being told the watch had received the $250 movement replacement we had specifically authorized. The movement was never replaced, and the stopwatch still didn't work. The entire process involved poor communication, missed callbacks, incorrect information, and ultimately having to show up in person and wait for the manager to retrieve our watch ourselves. We essentially had to micromanage a jewelry store, only to discover that the repair we were told had been completed actually hadn't been done. We brought my husband's watch here around the middle of June to have the battery replaced. We were told it would be sent off to their watchmaker, take approximately two weeks, and that they would call us when it was ready. About a month later, after hearing nothing, I called to check on it. I discovered that our phone number had been written down incorrectly. I was also told they didn't have our watch and would contact the watchmaker and get back to me. Two days later, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. I was told the woman I had been dealing with no longer worked there and that the manager, the man in charge, was now handling the situation. He said he would personally go to the watchmaker, figure out what was going on, and call us later that day. He never called. A few days later, I called again and finally found out that the watch needed a new movement in addition to the battery. We were told the watchmaker had been waiting for authorization. We authorized the $250 movement replacement and were told it would take approximately two weeks. When we still hadn't heard anything, my husband called and was told the watch should be ready Saturday. We went in person that Saturday because, at this point, we needed to speak to someone face-to-face. We were told the manager would drive to the watchmaker himself to pick up the watch and that we should wait there. So we sat and waited for him to return. He came back with the watch, told us it was done, and said he was going to comp the repair and not charge us. When we looked at it later, however, we discovered that while the battery was working, the stopwatch still wasn't working, and the new movement we had specifically authorized had NOT been installed. I understand that repairs can take time and that mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of communication and follow-through. We repeatedly had to call for updates, correct their mistakes, track down information ourselves, and eventually show up in person just to get our watch back. We chose this store expecting a much higher level of service. This experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. DO NOT bring your watches here.
