My now husband and I purchased my wedding band from Diamonds Direct! The band is absolutely perfect, but I am docking a star because there were timeline delays that made the experience slightly more frustrating and stressful than it needed to be. We visited Diamonds Direct in early April and our wedding was in mid May, so the timing was getting a bit tight. While we were there, Heather (plus another staff member who I cannot remember the name of!) worked with us to help me find my perfect wedding band that complemented my engagement ring. They were patient and helpful throughout the process. Upon making the purchase, we were informed that the ring would be ready a week before our wedding so that we would have time to pick it up and make sure everything looked good. When we got to the week before mark, we hadn't received any updates so I gave them a call, and they informed us that there had been some delays and they would have the ring ready 2 days before the wedding. This caused us unnecessary stress in the days before our wedding, but thankfully Heather called to let us know that the ring was ready 4 days before the wedding! We went to pick it up the following day and it was exactly what I wanted! read more

My husband surprised me with the most beautiful earrings from DD for a milestone Birthday. All though I wasn't present when he purchased them, both my daughter and husband said the service was great, as well as quality of the stones and cost. Hoping to shop here again soon! read more

Diamonds Direct - So lovely! - Jewelry Near Me - Frisco, Texas

The last time I was here wasn't the best experience. But I decided to give them a second chance and they didn't disappoint. I brought in two of my grandmothers rings. One to be resized and the other to have a stone replaced. The stone being replaced was an emerald. I was told emeralds are hard to match but they would do their best. My ring fixes took about a week and a half. Not bad! I expected longer. When I picked them up they looked absolutely perfect. The emerald they chose matches the others so well. They even cleaned up my rings so they shine beautifully. I was impressed with how everything was handled when I was there. They were so kind, and unphased by my 3 wild boys I had in tow. I have a few more family rings I need fixed so I'll definitely be coming back here to have them do the rest! read more

The diamond in my wife's wedding ring fell out and was lost. So we needed to replace it, went here and was greeted by very friendly people. We worked with Amanda who was great, very knowledgeable and polite. We ended up purchasing a diamond to replace the one lost. If you're in the market i highly recommend Amanda at Diamond Direct. read more

I cannot compliment this store enough. My fiancé got the PERFECT engagement ring with the help of Jessica & Kyle. He said it was the easiest and most stress free process since he knew nothing about fine jewelry prior to trying to propose. Also, I had the fortunate (yet unfortunate given the circumstance) experience of working with them to replace my ring after it was stolen while traveling. They worked seamlessly with the insurance and got me a ring that I treasure just as much as the first. They made a stressful situation so much better by taking the mental load and just taking care of it. They also give you recommended insurance when you buy the ring which is a lifesaver. I believe in working with people you can trust and these folks you can TRUST. Let this be a PSA to both get jewelry insurance AND work with diamonds direct for your fine jewelry needs. If your fiancé knows nothing and you want a jeweler you can trust with the most important piece of jewelry send them here! They'll explain everything he needs to know while making sure the ring is GORGEOUS:) read more

Alison was so incredibly helpful and so knowledgeable! She made the experience so fun!!

Very disappointing experience here. I am not sure if their customer service is consistently poor or if my fiancé and I were treated poorly due to our age, race, or casual outfits. Beyond generally rude behavior from the majority of employees (2 younger staff members were very nice), they initially sent us away. Upon entering and requesting an appraisal for my ring I was immediately asked if my diamond was natural to which I answered yes. She told me the appraisal would take "a few weeks" - this employee clearly did not know I had been told on the phone an hour before that they could do it same day - 2 days at most. I made her aware of this and was eventually told by another employee they could do it in 2 hours. One of the women then glanced at my paperwork and stated that my diamond was lab grown so they would not appraise it. This shocked us as my fiancé had surely paid the price for a natural diamond so we spent considerable time in a panic diving into the paperwork in the car after being turned away. We could not find any reason they would declare the diamond lab grown, so I went back inside hoping to understand where the paperwork said so. Several employees read the paper work and the diamond's inscription and quickly confirmed that it was natural and they had no idea why it was declared lab grown by their other two coworkers. I once again asked for an appraisal, and the woman who identified my diamond incorrectly checked in my ring without a hint of an apology for her mistake causing us to be sent away. I do not plan to return in the future. **I'm glad I waited to post this review until after picking my ring up because I bumped it up to 2 stars. The man (a manager) who returned my ring to me was lovely. Maybe just a few bad eggs I originally encountered. read more

This is an amazing store! Allison was super helpful and very sweet to us without pressuring us for a sale. She actually took time to get to know us and then helped us find what we want. Cannot recommend this store enough! read more

Have had great experiences here overall. First, their selection and amount of rings is unlike anywhere else I tried looking. Was able to customize my engagement ring and found EXACTLY what I had been looking for. Mark did a great job with helping me for that one. But my (almost) husband and I would like to give a special thanks to Silas who went above and beyond with not only helping us pick out our wedding bands, but also being beyond patient with me when we returned to upgrade the wedding band and I was very indecisive. I found the one I wanted and Silas was able to pick me out one that looked exactly the same but more within my budget. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Thanks again! read more

Had a great experience at the Diamonds Direct store as I had taken my brothers girlfriend to try and figure out her ring size and what she liked. I let the salesman Mark know this and he was very helpful and went along with the fake story of whys he actually thought we were there. They have a ton of great options and are very knowledgeable on the rings and cuts and clarity of the diamonds. I leaned a lot from Mark and appreciated his help. read more

We went in here to upgrade my engagement ring and Mark was super helpful. After we left I found another stone I wanted to see in person on their website and Mark ordered it for us and let us know when it arrived. We went in to view the stone and are moving forward with it. The store manager helped us (Mark was with another client) and he helped us with viewing. He showed us the GIA report and read us the inscription on the diamond itself, as well as helped us with a few customization requests we had to the setting itself. They are busy on weekends (they're right outside the mall) so I'd suggest making an appointment or going on a weekday if you need to be quick. They also have a kids play area which is great and have refreshments (coffee, water, sodas). Also, their bathrooms are super clean and nice. LOL We've had a great experience so far and I'll post an update after we pick up the finished product. read more

I worked with Mark throughout my 1st experience with Diamonds Direct. He was perfect from start to finish through the process of selecting the piece. I wanted to customize my own ring and he excelled in every aspect of the adventure. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and he was knowledgeable and efficient on his delivery of my perfect ring. He educated me on all my options and explained the differences so that I was able to make the best choice for myself. I especially appreciated that Mark respected the price range I gave him and did not try to nudge me toward a higher point- I can guarantee I would've walked out the door and not given Diamonds Direct another chance. I feel like I literally got the best of all worlds and I'm so thrilled with my gorgeous ring! Because of the positive experience that Mark cultivated, I will definitely return to Diamonds Direct in the future! BTW: Thank you, Mark! read more

Am a little late on this, but I bought my wife's engagement ring + both our wedding bands here last summer. I had Marcy as my rep both times and she's absolutely one of the best in the business. She was patient, never pushy, kept me in budget, and listened very closely to what I wanted. I'm sure many men who shop here for engagement rings are first time customers with little or no knowledge of the industry and are prime targets for all kinds of bad behavior from vendors. I was prepared for the whole gamut of upselling/shady sales tactics and was very pleasantly surprised when it didn't happen. In fact, I actually felt like Marcy helped me make a better decision than I would've made on my own, and that's rare. read more

I visited and met with Amanda Thompson for the first time in October. I told Amanda upfront that my husband had a good relationship with another jeweler that we had been doing business with for over 11 years. At my initial visit, Amanda showed me several options. She listened to what my wants were and made suggestions and gave her professional opinion and feedback. She invited me to come back a few days later when she got a few more diamonds in for me to see. Amanda gave me all the numbers upfront. I appreciated how detailed she was and that she didn't brush me off when I came without my spouse a second time. We're both in sales so it's rare we both get a day off together. (I even purchased our first home without him being able to go with me to see it first to give you an idea!) I loved her energy from the get go! Today, I brought my husband to DD for his first visit. We met with Amanda and also the GM, Matt. Matt and Amanda both made a great impression on my husband. When they gave us the prices, we told them we would still pay a visit to our other jeweler that we had done a lot of business with in the past and they weren't pushy and were respectful of our decision. We were happy that they had exactly what I (didn't know I) wanted. We returned after getting pricing from our other jeweler and we decided to go back to DD for a few reasons. 1. We appreciated them being upfront and honest. 2. We believed we were being given a fair deal. 3. We genuinely liked Amanda and Matt. 4. They had the diamond in stock! - In this day where everyone wants instant gratification, I was so happy they were able to get my ring perfectly sized on the spot so I could wear it out of the store. After buying jewelry mostly exclusively at one place for the last 11 years, I am absolutely thrilled that we got to do business with Amanda and Matt. Highly highly recommend you visit Diamonds Direct! read more

My sister had a great experience with Diamonds Direct in North Carolina, and we went to the Frisco location recently for me. I got my first diamonds ever, a half-carat set of diamond stud earrings. We had a great experience with Chris. I had mine installed with the screwbacks option, so I had to wait about two weeks for them. They're great - I'm so happy with my first real "ice", and can't wait for when it's time for something else! read more

Contacted Mark to upgrade my engagement ring. He was going on vacation and passed me off to Kyle. Got a few texts from him but he dropped the ball and stopped texting. 10 days later or so Mark comes back from vacation and texts me to ask if I'm still interested in upgrading my ring. What? When I responded that I wasn't sure, due to Kyle's disinterest, all I got back was "what do you mean". Again, what? How about an apology and stepping up to take care of your repeat customer? Not interested, I guess. That's fine I will go elsewhere. Toodles!! read more

Had an engagement ring made here and went back to get the wedding band made to match. They gave us a four to six week build time and we heard nothing from them. I went in today, several weeks after the told delivery date, to be told that the ring is still in production. We received zero notification from them and are now four weeks from our wedding date. The store staff has no idea why I wasn't notified, but now am stuck without a wedding band and no answer of when our ring will be completed. I highly recommend getting a price or estimate from diamonds direct and then finding another jeweler for your once in a lifetime ring. And for a price point reference, in excess of $30k. Their lack of follow-up, accountability or meeting their promises makes regret ever purchasing from them and if I could give zero stars, this is the place that earned it. read more

Highly recommend going to see Keith at Diamonds Direct if you are looking for an engagement ring. Found out about Diamonds Direct through a family member after being unsatisfied with the options and pricing at the larger retailers such as Zales, Kay, Jared and even some local jewelers who wanted an arm and a leg for what my partner had in mind. Keith was able to help me find the perfect engagement ring in about 15 minutes, and when he told me the price I was pleasantly surprised! Keith was very professional and made the process quick and surprisingly easy. They have an amazing lifetime warranty that includes maintenance and cleaning & financing options were much better than what the other stores had to offer as well. Highly recommend checking out Diamonds Direct if you are in the market for an engagement ring or wedding band. Thank you Keith! read more

This review has been long overdue. I came into Diamonds Direct a little over a month ago looking for a diamond ring as a Christmas gift for my wife. I was immediately greeted at the door and introduced to Anthony. I told him what I was looking for and he walked me to the back room and asked me if I wanted anything to drink. Throughout the entire purchase he was very informative and not once did I feel rushed to make the purchase. He treated me with the utmost respect and provided the best service anyone can ask for. Mind you I came into this store with a t-shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap on but he still treated me as he would any other customer. We spent a good amount of time looking at what was in stock and he introduced me to Tamir. They both told me there were some additional stock they wanted to show me but it won't be delivered until the next day. Long story short I spent several days with these two picking out the perfect stone for my wife. Both were extremely patient and informative. I felt like for what I purchased they gave me an extremely fair price and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. In fact I even referred my father in law the next week and he came in to make a purchase. You all have a customer for life. I look forward to my next purchase. Thank you all at Diamonds Direct for the excellent customer service. read more

Definitely recommend this place!! My fiancé and I had a terrible experience last year shopping for an engagement ring- it was awful and depressing to witness. Everywhere we went the sales reps were either rude, lacked any customer service etiquette, and sometimes even found judgmental. I had walked into Diamonds Direct of Frisco feeling completely hopeless and depressed after recently letting go of a designer who could not produce a custom ring; however, I am so glad I ended giving them a chance. I met Admir and Olga who both welcomed me in with compassion, both were extremely helpful, beyond generous, and easy to communicate with from beginning to end. I ended up deciding to attempt, once again, at creating a personalized custom engagement ring. This time around the process was much easier, smooth, and not at all complicated. Throughout the design process I worked closely with Olga who was hands down amazing to work with! She paid attention to even the smallest of details of what you are saying and she did a phenomenal job at creating exactly the complex and gorgeous ring I was envisioning in my head. Let me just say, trying to create and describe something that does not yet physically exist can be more challenging than most of us would have thought. However, Olga is incredibly talented in being able to turn your vision into a masterpiece! I would highly recommend Diamond Direct of Frisco for all of your jewelry or diamond needs, especially if you are wanting to create and customize your own piece of jewelry. This is a great company that will work with you, and they have a team of employees who strive to make the customer feel protected, respected, and happy. read more
