The band is absolutely perfect, but I am docking a star because there were timeline delays that made the experience slightly more frustrating and stressful than it needed to be. We visited Diamonds Direct in early April and our wedding was in mid May, so the timing was getting a bit tight. While we were there, Heather (plus another staff member who I cannot remember the name of!) worked with us to help me find my perfect wedding band that complemented my engagement ring. They were patient and helpful throughout the process. Upon making the purchase, we were informed that the ring would be ready a week before our wedding so that we would have time to pick it up and make sure everything looked good. When we got to the week before mark, we hadn't received any updates so I gave them a call, and they informed us that there had been some delays and they would have the ring ready 2 days before the wedding. This caused us unnecessary stress in the days before our wedding, but thankfully Heather called to let us know that the ring was ready 4 days before the wedding! The last time I was here wasn't the best experience. But I decided to give them a second chance and they didn't disappoint. I brought in two of my grandmothers rings. One to be resized and the other to have a stone replaced. The stone being replaced was an emerald. I was told emeralds are hard to match but they would do their best. My ring fixes took about a week and a half. Not bad! I expected longer. When I picked them up they looked absolutely perfect. The emerald they chose matches the others so well. They even cleaned up my rings so they shine beautifully. I was impressed with how everything was handled when I was there. They were so kind, and unphased by my 3 wild boys I had in tow. Very disappointing experience here. I am not sure if their customer service is consistently poor or if my fiancé and I were treated poorly due to our age, race, or casual outfits. Beyond generally rude behavior from the majority of employees (2 younger staff members were very nice), they initially sent us away. Upon entering and requesting an appraisal for my ring I was immediately asked if my diamond was natural to which I answered yes. She told me the appraisal would take "a few weeks" - this employee clearly did not know I had been told on the phone an hour before that they could do it same day - 2 days at most. I made her aware of this and was eventually told by another employee they could do it in 2 hours. One of the women then glanced at my paperwork and stated that my diamond was lab grown so they would not appraise it. This shocked us as my fiancé had surely paid the price for a natural diamond so we spent considerable time in a panic diving into the paperwork in the car after being turned away. We could not find any reason they would declare the diamond lab grown, so I went back inside hoping to understand where the paperwork said so. Several employees read the paper work and the diamond's inscription and quickly confirmed that it was natural and they had no idea why it was declared lab grown by their other two coworkers. I once again asked for an appraisal, and the woman who identified my diamond incorrectly checked in my ring without a hint of an apology for her mistake causing us to be sent away. I do not plan to return in the future. **I'm glad I waited to post this review until after picking my ring up because I bumped it up to 2 stars. Was able to customize my engagement ring and found EXACTLY what I had been looking for. Mark did a great job with helping me for that one. But my (almost) husband and I would like to give a special thanks to Silas who went above and beyond with not only helping us pick out our wedding bands, but also being beyond patient with me when we returned to upgrade the wedding band and I was very indecisive. We went in here to upgrade my engagement ring and Mark was super helpful. After we left I found another stone I wanted to see in person on their website and Mark ordered it for us and let us know when it arrived. We went in to view the stone and are moving forward with it. The store manager helped us (Mark was with another client) and he helped us with viewing. He showed us the GIA report and read us the inscription on the diamond itself, as well as helped us with a few customization requests we had to the setting itself. They are busy on weekends (they're right outside the mall) so I'd suggest making an appointment or going on a weekday if you need to be quick. They also have a kids play area which is great and have refreshments (coffee, water, sodas). Also, their bathrooms are super clean and nice. LOL We've had a great experience so far and I'll post an update after we pick up the finished product. read more

Had an engagement ring made here and went back to get the wedding band made to match. They gave us a four to six week build time and we heard nothing from them. I went in today, several weeks after the told delivery date, to be told that the ring is still in production. We received zero notification from them and are now four weeks from our wedding date. The store staff has no idea why I wasn't notified, but now am stuck without a wedding band and no answer of when our ring will be completed. I highly recommend getting a price or estimate from diamonds direct and then finding another jeweler for your once in a lifetime ring. And for a price point reference, in excess of $30k. Throughout the design process I worked closely with Olga who was hands down amazing to work with! She paid attention to even the smallest of details of what you are saying and she did a phenomenal job at creating exactly the complex and gorgeous ring I was envisioning in my head. Let me just say, trying to create and describe something that does not yet physically exist can be more challenging than most of us would have thought.
