An unproductive lazy Saturday made for an incredibly busy Sunday! After the gym, we didn't have enough time to go home, shower, change, and cook a proper meal because of all the errands that need to be run before the weekday hits. So before we run our errands and before one of us gets hangry we head to Jamba Juice. I haven't been to a Jamba Juice in a while and there have been some noticeable menu changes. I think they're trying to balance healthy and yummy options? I don't really know, I only usually get the same smoothie every time. To my horror, my beloved Mango Mantra was no where on the menu! Fortunately they still make it upon request. The fiancé's Protein Berry drink was still on the menu so he was happy. The drinks were pretty standard and consistent tasting compared to other locations. Nothing to complain about. Just a little startled when I thought my go to smoothie was unavailable. This location is next to a grocery store with plenty of parking. Staff was polite and prompt. I don't think I was waiting too long for my smoothie. I've been going to this Jamba Juice for a while now and today made me want to make a comment about the customer service I received: the cashier took my order but on the other end my name was the male version and I got the wrong drink I ordered. I'm not the type to fuss and fight mistakes happen but the response I received not directly but heard was inappropriate. The cashier that took my order told the person who made my drink that he read back my order which was incorrect and then another female worker made it as if I didn't know what I ordered which was pretty rude that I could hear the whole thing. Lets just say I'll come on another day or a different location. read more

I've always loved this place. Their smoothies are great after dental work and with a protein boost keep me satisfied. Granted, some smoothies aren't the healthiest, but Jamba has all plant-based smoothies and healthy substitutions such as Greek Yogurt and Kale. My all-time favorite is the Strawberry Surfrider, a great mix of real strawberries and lemonade. I'll add a boost or two if I use it as a meal replacement. Orange Dream Machine is orange juice with a bit of smooth vanilla sherbet. This is another favorite. The Protein Berry smoothie has lots of protein and less sugar, and with the vitamin boost makes it great meal replacer. I'm not a fan of their premade breakfast items but am addicted to the variety of smoothies. I love the healthy and the indulgent ones! read more

I usually get the pomegranate paradise or the mango-a-go-go which are wonderful. But last week I had just gotten my wisdom teeth removed and since I couldn't eat solid foods, a smoothie sounded lovely. I wanted to try something new and when I asked for suggestions one of the workers named Emma said I should try the vanilla blue sky. Boy was she right! Everytime I've been in here the staff is always so nice, I appreciate how quick and friendly they are! It's crazy to see this place have 3 stars. It's a clearly a 5 and there customers on average are 1/5, customers coming in high and mighty, entitled and just out right rude. The product is good but the music in this place is so loud that normal communication is not possible. Upon entering there is no way to know which register is being used, and one of them is off to the side and on a corner that is too close to the refrigerator behind it to allow for a comfortable transaction. The staff apparently don't take the volume of the music into account, I was told "I called you over (to the register on the corner) but you looked indecisive so I waited on the next customer." Hm. My thought was that she could have stepped over to help me anyway, or at least stepped in front of me and asked me to step over to the next register. Honestly, the layout needs improvement. They need a clear path to the order register, and a separate window for pick-up. I've tried a few different drinks from the menu and almost all have been fantastic and refreshing. I've never had a problem with customer service here and I've been here a gazillion times. So happy to see Jamba offering plant based smoothies and bowls! I was in the area and decided to stop by. I was undecided, and Debra was on the cash register and began asking me questions about what fruits I like, and made recommendations (so kind of you Debra, thank you!). Isaac was my smoothie maestro. I ordered two for family and felt I could carry them all free hand to the car. Issac offered a takeout tray and I hesitated, thinking I don't need to waste a tray I can carry the smoothies. Isaac, clearly knowing that probably wouldn't end well, quickly grabbed a tray and placed my drinks inside (thanks for saving me from making a potentially big mess, Issac!). I decided on the Vanilla Blue Sky and I'm so glad I did. It was smooth, creamy, cold, with a hint of sweetness. I loved the chemistry between the staff, everyone seemed friendly and worked well together. I would gI've a no star if it was an option. I just went to this location on July 30 and as soon as I walked in the manager was so rude. Doesn't ask if I had a mask to grab it. Says you can't come in here without one. I was putting it on as she was starting to yell at me. I think this is a way for employees to mean to customers. She was so nasty and rude. SO bummed that their daily deals are going away. Jamba Juice was my first job, and let me tell you - their prices have more than doubled over the past 15 years! This Jamba Juice is horrible I feel like it is ran by a bunch of teenagers who do not put effort in making the drinks correctly. Every time they make my same drink it is different never the same consistency. I am a big fan of Jamba Juice so I go all the time and they can never make my Jamba bowl correctly. The people here are so super friendly. The cashier was very helpful in suggesting the upgrade when I came in to cash in my free small smoothie as a gift when the Kings win. He suggested the upgrade to a large for about a buck which was a fantastic deal. Everyone seemed super friendly. When I got my order the server asked me to taste it before I left. Jamba was one of the participating locations and took advantage of the promotion. I was pleased that they didn't bother charging me for the extra dollar above what the coupon was covering. I really wish that Yelp had half stars because this location is definitely a 2 1/2 star franchise. When I went into Jamba with my husband, it reeked of bleach and various cleaning products that speak to the general cleanliness of the establishment but definitely turns your stomach and by the time our smoothies were done, I was significantly less enthused about drinking it. We went shopping in Raley's and the escape from the cleaning fumes finally allowed me to be able to consume my Strawberries Wild without the fear of vomiting all over the place. The staff seemed very upbeat but the smell was just terrible. Cleanliness is definitely something to be desired in a restaurant but it shouldn't be the only odor you smell when you walk into a Jamba. Although my experiences with this Jamba haven't been the best, I still prefer it to the Jamba that is inside the Safeway on Del Paso Blvd whose standards are significantly lower than those at this location. read more

I love that this location is still close to home even though there's a jamba juice in the safeway closer to my house but I don't like going there and it always seems like there isn't anyone working. The best part about this place is the friendly staff, they tell you about any specials going on, they help you out if you can't make up your mind about what you want, they ask you if you want a sample of something if they have it...to sum it all up the people who work here make it seem like they enjoy what they do because they reflect it onto their customers or at least everytime I come in with my kids. Plus, they take gift cards where some of the safeway locations don't. I do miss my pizza protein bar though. Where oh where did you go?
