Friendly! Loving the Chunk Strawberry Topper!!! It has fresh cut bananas on top, strawberries, peanut butter, non fat yogurt, soymilk, pumpkin flax seed granola...sounds delicious right? Well it is. I would like to venture out and try the others like this but they sound kinda tart. There is a berry, mango, and acai topper...maybe next time. On occasion I get the wheat grass shot for fun. This location is great! This was my first visit to this location and it was perfect. I'm extraordinarily picky about food, so I'm always asking for substitutions and things to be removed. I have always enjoyed Jamba Juice but my girlfriend and I went here yesterday and I ordered the PB & Banana Protein smoothie. It was $7+ for a Lg and boy was I disappointed in this drink thoroughly. It was supposed to have honey, milk, etc but tasted like a watered down version of a frozen cup of 1% milk. It was supposed to have 32 grams of Whey Protein too! By far the worst "smoothie" Jamba Juice I have ever purchased, please remove this item from your menu and others please be advised prior to purchasing. read more

So to be honest this is actually the only Jamba Juice I have ever been to; however, I hope all are this great. Staff is always friendly and they greet anyone that walks in. I've even been in at different times of day and even if there are different people working, they all provide great customer service. You would think these places were cookie-cutter, where everything is relatively the same at the different locations, but the young lady working here was probably the best employee I've come across at a Jamba Juice location. Exceptionally friendly, was able to easily help me narrow down a choice (no watermelon smoothies yet, but knew what didn't have banana or peach, 2 flavors I don't like). Other locations, when asked, just give a blank stare. When I paid with a gift card, she was able to process it right away and hand me a receipt (normally when I go the gift card becomes a production for the cashier, and I've been told you don't get a receipt when paying with a gift card--which just means they are too dumb to print a receipt after closing out an order). She offered us samples of a waffle cone treat and tried to gently upsell them without being too forceful. And when giving us our drinks told me to make sure I'd like mine or she'd make something different, because she wants the customers happy. (Another bonus--she looked at us when speaking to us, rather than looking away or talking when walking away, which is customary at so many places these days.) We were happy, and I hope she's able to move up within the company fast, or find a different place that will reward her for her skills. And btw, the smoothies we had were just as we would have expected, they weren't spectacular but they were tasty, just like if we ordered from any other Jamba Juice location. I have never really put too much thought into places like this, there really isn't THAT much that goes into a stop at Jamba juice... However, on one particular morning, I visited Jamba to get oatmeal and a carrot juice and couldn't have been more impressed with how fantastic the staff was! I had a nice, comfortable conversation with the girl who worked the register, I believe her name was Maggie, it probably helped that they weren't busy but it was a very nice experience that pretty much paved the way for an awesome day. In my opinion, this is the best Jamba Juice location in Phoenix. It doesn't look like much, as it's tucked inside a strip mall, but you will not disappointed! Typically I have a good experience here, but tonight the closing shift didn't care about anything other then the cell phones and talking to friends. It took 4x longer than any other visit to any other store. The floor was also extremely sticky. Not in one spot, but the entire floor. read more

I used to come here 3 times a week and would buy 3 açaí bowls and 3 açaí super antioxidant smoothies until tonight. Online it says they close at 9pm and I got there at 7:57 pm the guy closed the door once he saw me park. Another customer was also parked and disappointed because we both drove all the way there. Another issue I had but didn't mind was that I would order 50+ dollars worth of stuff sometimes and they wouldn't take anything larger then 20$ bills and when I give them my BOA card they asked me for Identification which no other business has ever done. The smoothies are very good but It's like this place doesn't want my business therefore I'm finding a new smoothie place. Tropical smoothie on Camelback and 16 st has bigger portions for less. The employees were absolutely wonderful and friendly and amazing. In saying that, however, I have ordered a topper (different types mind you) and each time I get them they are runny and inedible with a spoon so I usually end up drinking this runny, granola mix with chunks of bananas in it. This one star is for the awful customer service we experienced from one of the employees at this location. If I could give no stars I would. Yes, I understand it was close to closing time and that was one of the reasons we took our order and sat at the patio tables outside, to allow the staff to continued their closing procedure. After some 15 minutes or so, we looked at the clock and it read 10:05pm. This said employee began picking up the outside tables to take inside and when he picked up the one next to us, instead of politely informing us they were in fact closed he said in one of the most rude tones I've been spoken to in my life "I NEED TOU ALL TO LEAVE" as if we were criminals trespassing on private property instead of a couple of paying customers trying to enjoy a nice and healthy little summer treat with our kids. My husband was so upset he ushered us to the car and went back inside to get a business card or the name of a manager whom he could speak to, at that moment this said employee informed him he was indeed the manager. Over 25 years of combined customer service and hospitality experience can sometimes feel like a curse. Never again will you catch me anywhere near this place. Also I will share this experience with anyone who will listen to make sure they are not treated this way. read more

I found that this Jamba Juice location lacked consistency. I ordered two Caribbean Passion drinks. The first was peach in color, the second was strawberry red. I am amazed that the exact same drink made by the same person could come out two completely different colors. read more

This is our usual destination for an after school snack. And today was no exception. However. They were having some trouble with their systems. They also had some issues with the iPhone payment. I am new to Jamba, however i am surprised at the AMAZING customer service that this store dishes out. One of the workers there has always noticed me as a regular customer. He has a stellar personality, gave me a 20% off card and sometimes has my order ready by the time i finish paying the cashier. He's always very bright and smiling or laughing with his co-workers, I believe his name is Christian. He suggested a banana oatmeal with peanut butter the other morning and i have to say that it has been the most incredible oatmeal i have ever had!!!
