Food is completely open and unprotected. Anyone could tamper with it as they do not seal their big bag or small bags in any way. I'm an organ transplant recipient so my immune system is delicate. Regular food poisoning or licking the food from a stranger could send me to the hospital and compromise my life. As a regular person, I don't think anyone would want their food open to whatever someone might want to do Adriana Grande style. I have to throw out the soft pretzels. Disappointed. I know they can do better. A simple 3 staples on the big bag would work. I may sound extreme, but you wouldn't want someone you care about going through cancer treatment or any treatment that leaves them in a weakened state to be subjected to potential additional sickness. The reason I'm only giving this place three stars is because the juice is not as good as Juice it Up which I love and the food sucks! I know I shouldn't come here for food which I didn't. I came for a juice, but I was a little hungry so I ordered a breadstick and it was dry and tasteless and just gross. And if you want sauce to go with your breadstick, you better order it when you order your breadstick because it does not automatically come with sauce. My son ordered a pretzel and that was gross too. Service is always good so the employees are pretty friendly and helpful and it's always pretty clean and there's always somewhere to sit. Very disappointed. I put a large order in through mobile ordering the night before to be picked up at a specific time. I tried calling (as it says to do on the app if you have any questions or need to make changes) and the phone was out of service. I came to the location and inquired about their phones not working and was told, "oh we don't have phones here." I never come to this location since we have one around the corner from us, but decided to drop in because we were in the area and it was a hot day. All 4 kids behind the counter just seemed so miserable and unhappy to be there, no greeting, so unfriendly and unwelcoming. I can't stand the setup and how cramped it is so even if you're waiting at the table to the side, it seems like you're waiting in line which causes a lot of confusion. I wasn't asked if I had a rewards account, I'm used to just typing in my number. I had to ask for a receipt after the fact because I wasn't aware or was told that I had to scan the QR code at the register at the time of ordering. What crappy treatment after spending $20 for 3 small kid smoothies AND I missed the BOGO free smoothie because I wasn't asked to scan my rewards. I just went in and ordered a smoothie and the lady was rude and said she was gonna work on it and got done and said my smoothie name and I went up and got it and said thank you while opening my straw and as I'm about to walk out says that's not yours... then I give it to the teen that was sitting there as she was making 2 of the same smoothie and then handed me mine.. it was rude cause she clearly knew I assumed it was mine and why she didn't just give the teen the next one instead of trying to embarrass me after I put my straw in it.. I was annoyed, I felt as though the better answer should have been let me refill those for you. This location was no different from the typical jamba with fresh juices and very friendly customer service. They made my açaí bowl with joy bursting out of it in every scoop I took. Lol I also love the high protein peanut butter smoothie. I get soy protein instead of whey so it's vegetarian friendly. It's think and yummy without that gross chalky taste lost protein shakes have. The chocolate lover smoothie (that's not the exact name of it but when I say that they know which one I'm referring to lol) is a super good treat with lots of rich chocolates flavor for you sweet tooths out there! The smoothies off the "all fruit" menu tend to be on the sour side. I've tried the Peach Perfection and the Mega Mango. What's so odd is that neither of the smoothies tasted like their namesake. So I guess I'll be sticking with the Mango-a-go-go and the Aloha Pineapple from now on. Another oddity you may notice at this bar is the lack of interior seating. There is only a two-top and a couch that probably sits 3 comfortably. There are several patio tables but you'll be fending off exhaust fumes from Cal Oaks and the nearby I-15 overpass.
