I actually prefer the mom and pop's store Fruitibionicos in Pico Rivera over the chains but I saw a coupon on Groupon for 6 bottles of 12-oz cold pressed juices for $18 so that got me excited. Came here straight from DTLA on a weekday... Haggard. Traffic everywhere. I got in at around 6:30 PM and the place wasn't busy. There were 3 attendants: 2 girls and 1 guy. I walked up to the counter and showed them my coupon and the guy kindly (being sarcastic here coz the guy looked bored as heck and didn't even offer any smile as I walked up to the counter) pointed the fridge by the door where they had all the pre-packed bottles stocked. Damn you, fine print! *Shakes fist to the sky* I was surprised because I had the assumption that they will make the juice after I show them the coupon. I guessed wrong. Super friendly staff and very helpful. I wasn't too sure what to order so they recommended the Strawberry Whir Smoothie, since I do love strawberries and bananas, oh so good! Parking isn't ready an issue, as its located in the Downey Landing (by the Star Bucks) Friendly staff and clean facility. They've always honored the BOGO events when it's advertised. I was looking for a Jamba Juice that was open past 10pm one night and I found this one, which is open till 11pm! I actually came in here really close to 11pm, and the cashier was still VERY helpful and friendly, which is amazing! My smoothie was yummy too. I will be definitely be returning here. Also of note, the parking lot here is spacious and easy to get around, unlike the Jamba Juice near the Cerritos mall, so that's a plus for me! read more

My second time ever going to a Jamba Juice (first time the smoothie was effing disgusting ) So I went this morning with my sister and we ordered some kind of citrus juice with ginger. The drink was okay, I've had better. The reason why I give it two stars, the cashier obviously didn't want to be there and looked annoyed (no one likes being a cashier but cut that shit out and put on a smile.) All their employees were extremely unorganized and were all over the place bouncing back and fourth like crazy instead of being in one particular job area. Ordered online at 11:45am, got my email confirmation saying my order would be ready at 11:55am. Knowing this location is slow I arrived at 12:10 and approached the counter area where the sign says "mobile orders". It was busy, so I waited to ask for my order. I eventually got the attention of a worker who told me they were busy, she continued to fill cups and handout orders. I then told her that I was there for an online order from 11:55, she said nothing and just kept filling cups and handed out orders. I then approached the manager at the register telling her I was there to pick up an online order from 11:55am. It was now 12:17. She turned to her staff and asked if they had an online order, no one responded, the manager just stood there for a second. I was getting no where so I just left without my online order as I had to be somewhere by 1pm. Lost out in my $17 for two smoothies and will never be back. So, I've been going to this Jamba Juice since its been around. It is awesome! The customer service is good, and their drinks are good. The music they play is not bad either (I've had moment Mr. Belding moments "hey hey hey WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?) They play a plethora of music ranging from Lady Gaga to Taking Back Sunday. Tips: Morning food? GINGER PUMPKIN MUFFIN...you'll thank me or maybe not....maybe you'll get addicted to it just like I did.... Make sure you have them warm it up. It is amazing! The last time I ordered a drink from this jumba juice i had a buy one get one free coupon.... Ive never used a discount voucher before at JJ but the smoothies both came out really watered down unflavorful tasting.... maybe it was because I had a buy one get one voucher... perhaps this means half the flavor who knows. Today I decided to go back again...after a couple of months.... I had another buy one get one coupon.... the cashier said that the coupon was not being accepted anymore because the fundraising company never had their approval. Ok fine.... kinda annoying but ok i get it. Note to self to never buy coupon fundraising books from these kids selling in Downey... been scammed TWICE now. Anyways I love JJ... But not this JJ. Came in today 5/13/18 and one of the girls making the drinks made a comment "Gotta love Sunday's" in a very condescending way. The whole time we were waiting she was making faces as if she was angry that she was working. When she was making the drinks, she was aggressively putting the smoothies in the cup and punching the blender. I want to assume that these employees are told how important customer service is. She might've been having an off day, but that is not the way to greet consumers. I wish I could've cancelled my order and taken my business elsewhere. I've given this particular Jamba Juice location several 'chances' at trying to get back to their usual good service, but unfortunately, I'll be going to the Lakewood store instead. Over the last few months, I've gone to Jamba Juice at least once a week. My drinks have been thin, the ice tastes stale, and the customer service is not too good. I went in today (3/31), to get 2 drinks. I realize this is a holiday weekend (Easter is tomorrow), and that they're busy. That doesn't bother me in the least. The world doesn't revolve around me and I don't mind waiting. What bothers me is that I am standing, obviously, in front of the register, and there is no one there...not for at least 3 three minutes. Not even anyone saying, 'hey, I'll be right there", etc. I wouldn't even mind waiting longer, but at least acknowledge me so I know you're going to come help me at some point. When someone finally came over, they were rude. I started to walk away right before the person came to help me, and I said, 'oh, sorry, I was just getting ready to leave because I didn't know if you saw me or not'. I had my disabled son with me, so it wasn't like I could stay there all day. The person who came to help me said, "well, I'm sorry, but we're busy". Okay, cool. But you don't have to be snippy and make me feel like I'm bothering you for expecting you to come take my order at some point. Even that isn't such a big deal, but the quality of drinks has diminished over the last few months, and for the price of the drinks, I'd hope that they would make the drinks a little better than they have. Sorry...I'll be going to the Lakewood store exclusively from now on. They make awesome drinks and the people there are really great! read more

To be honest, I only visit Jamba Juice a handful of times each year. It has always gone smoothly, nothing negative or overly positive to report. However, I visited Jamba Juice at downey landing on Monday, November 27. I was immediately greeted and told, "hello I'll be right with you." When it was my turn, I was greeted again by Mireya (hope I spelled it right) and she helped me remember which protein bowl I have previously ordered (it's so delicious!) After waiting a few minutes, my order was ready. I'm guessing since i was using a walker, Mireya offered to out my bowl in a bag (which is a first.). She handed me my bag with a smile and proceeded to open the door for me to exit (also a first!). Mireya is so kind and professional. She makes you feel like you're important to the company and goes above and beyond. Jamba Juice should be very grateful to have this girl and her excellent customer service!! Thank you!! read more

I decided to stop by to grab a drink and fruit bowl for breakfast before work (7:30am). The food and drink was fine. There was only 2 workers and a lot of customers. The young lady at the register was not enthusiastic at all which made my visit a little unpleasant but the girl making the drinks was very cheerful and positive. Unfortunately, wont be interested in stopping by soon because no one enjoys a negative vibe especially early in the morning when I am starting my day. Please have more staff to get customers in and out faster and positive ones because I do enjoy Jamba's drinks. Jamba cant live up to the hype if the staff is unhyped ass hell. Normally i Iove this place but this time my wife was served something with fermented strawberries in it. Her drink was a pomegranate thing with strawberries and I could literally taste the alcohol that fruits produce when they're at the stage of fermentation. It was really bad. My wife is way too much of a kind person to even go say something about it and just figured it was a little weird. I convinced her to go back in there and say something about it to the tall dude working there at 3:30pm. My wife came back with a new drink that same guy made her. I tried it and it still tasted like he used the same damn rancid strawberries and to top it off she said that he didn't seem very happy about having to make her a new drink. Finally I went in there and I politely asked this dude to fix the problem since we are paying customers and the same thing, he didn't seem very happy to do so. That tall guy there doesn't seem to know what customer service is all about. Just comes down to being nice. Dude needs an attitude check and management needs to retrain his ass.
