Absolute worst service. I am pregnant and they charged me $1 for a substitution they suggested and threw away my smoothie to make then remake it. The manager in charge was completely horrible. Crowded on many days but tonight was not the case. A mall area which is heavily frequented houses this Jamba Juice. You should find parking but may get a healthy walk at times. The people here are usually cool, at times the lines get long and you wait a while for your drink. Surrounded by a fairly large mini-mall makes this spot convenient. A clean place with lots of seating and nice ambience, I shall be back. To me, Jamba Juice, Robeks as well as the Mom & Pop & the Latino juice places are special. After all Pepsi has done to push itself into Latin America at the expense of the people's health it is good to see fruit juice bite into thier demographic. Jamba Juice now has coffee, wow, did not expect that to be added along with breakfast, lunch, snacks and oatmeal. As an avid Jamba Juicer, I only venture to this location when visiting my parents. My usual store is City of Industry @ Puente Hills Mall. That being said, they have a pretty high level to live up too! Not only is the store messy, trash on the floor, empty displays, their drinks are too varying in taste and quantity. Keeping in mind that I recently visited on a Sunday BOGO afternoon and that the clientele in Downey is a little different from clientele in Rowland Heights-it still doesn't make up for their deficiencies because my home location can still provide stellar service during their daily rush hours with the line going out the door! I have a picture of (2) Power Sizes that I requested to split into (4) Sixteens and they shorted me nearly a 3rd on one cup and a 1/4 on two other cups!!! Being that they were in a big rush and the staff member did NOT offer to make addt'l juice for me, I just took the drinks as-is and left out the door. Keep in mind, I did make the gesture to TIP right after paying being that it was BOGO and my request to split the drinks. To make things worse, the flavour/taste was off and the Razzmatazz and Caribbean Passion! The only reason that they received an extra star (instead of 1) was that the cashier was friendly. Even though I'd rather not go back to this location again, they are the only Jamba Juice local to Downey so I have no choice... Hopefully my next visit will be better :( read more

Yeah, smoothies and fresh squeezed juices are healthy and/or refreshing, but waiting 15 minutes or more to get one is ridiculous. The location has an extremely busy parking lot (Downey landing), long ordering lines, their rewards machines are often broken and they never seem to be adequately staffed. Not so thrilled with this location so I think I am being generous. PS: the employees should know their products and the boosts they offer so they can answer customer's questions. read more

I waited 40 minutes for some busted ass bananas on my acai bowl, and on top of that some attitude as well. Some white girl, asked for her to change it for me and she says "uh all the bananas are like that", unapologetically, if you run a god damn business then you shouldn't be putting out this type of customer service and or presentation on your products. I might add, this girl was in a black polo, maybe a shift lead or a manager? Whatever the case, the most trash ass attitude and was speaking to a friend the entirety of my time there, who was sipping her drink right In front of the damn pickup station. She wasn't entirely invested in her job obviously, and her orders were obviously pretty heavy for me to have waited forty minutes. Also, unrelated to your food and shitty service, your bathroom was disgusting. No toilet paper, your seat covers were littered on the floor, and I can't even see through your cloudy mirror. this location has gone downhill since they've hired teenagers who have zero knowledge in customer service. i paid for a large and was given a medium sized drink in a large cup. When confronted about it, they did not want to remake it due to them closing soon. it was 8:45 and it would have taken them a minute to correct my order. It's a Sunday morning at 7:42am and the hours of operation state this location opens at 7:30am. I am at the door and it's locked and I saw a young kid/employee with an apron slowly roaming around the store. He saw me at the door and didn't even acknowledge me and walked to the back of the store. I gave him a few minutes to open up but then I look through the window again and see that he's just standing in the back room doing nothing. Went in for a juice and had the worst customer service. I asked if the machine for the rewards was working, the guy that helped me Luis said no. I asked if he could use the other register so I could get my rewards he said no. He stated he was on this register. I asked how I was going to get my rewards he just proceeded to give me a blank stare and said "are you going to want your drink?" In a rude tone. I ended ordering and then asked for the manager who walked over and said she would check the machine and said it was an IT issue and she apologized. I went back to ask for a receipt because clearly Luis never gave me one and I asked for his name. He rudely stated it's on the receipt. I said " you don't have to be condescending." The lack of professionalism and quality of customer service is below average. As a consumer of Jamba Juice I feel that when I pay $12 for 2 smoothies I should be getting better quality customer service. I mean people earn less than $12 an hour so paying $12 for 2 drinks would be a steep price for those that presumably make minimum wage.
