I've been coming to this Jamba Juice for about 25 years and purchase around 25 smoothies a month. Today, I tried to place a $70 order and pay with a $100 bill, and even after the employee explained I was a regular customer, management still refused to accept it. Because of that policy, they lost the sale, the employee lost a tip, and I took my business elsewhere, where not only was my bill accepted, but the price was lower and the flavors I needed were available. I went to this Jamba juice today and The staff there were overall nice! So I ordered a the new mocha smoothie and I got to say it had to be one of the worst drinks I've had. It made me tired/drowsy. Also it tasted terrible it didn't even taste like a mocha drink at all. Not only this was the problem they got rid of the Vanilla blue sky smoothie it was my favorite thing to get at Jamba juice. if your customer orders a sandwich and you have a line, put the sandwich in the stove first, so it can cook while you take care of the line. Don't do the sandwich after the line so your customer ends up waiting 10 to 15 minutes for a single sandwich. I shouldn't have to wait for the line to die down and then for you to take care of the sandwich. That's not customer service. That's miss management of your time and other peoples time. This restaurant gets zero stars. If I could give it zero stars. not to mention, you charge five dollars for a sandwich. That is the size of a toddlers hand, yes, a toddlers hand. Came here right before they closed today and ordered 4 smoothies. All large sized - a carrot karma 2 orange a peels, and a mega mango. My mom and I noticed that the only person working was wearing a mask and gloves and his/her hair was NOT pulled back. We didn't think much of it, but thought that was bad hygiene especially in a workplace with food. We watched the employee make our smoothie from afar awaiting to drink our tasteful treats. Excited to drink our smoothies, we went right in with our straws and slurped away as soon as we got into the car. Right after swallowing and taking a large gulp of it, we were horrified as the taste of our smoothies tasted pungent and bland. We tasted each other's smoothies and were absolutely disgusted that we were served smoothies that tasted bitter and pungent like cleaning chemicals. The smoothies were not sweet or tasty at all. We came to this location a couple days ago and did NOT have any problems. We were so GROSSED OUT we could not drink the remaining liquids that were in the cup. We all started to feel ill with a headache after ingesting the fermented disgusting smoothies. In addition, I cannot help to think that there was cross contamination with the employee wearing gloves, typing on a computer and possibly touching whatever and then some of the vegetables that went into the juicer. We would like a refund for this horrible experience we had to encounter today. I called the store and left a message to speak with the manager, and brought up this ordeal to corporate, waiting for a response to make amends to this horrific issue. Furthermore, after dumping the remains of the smoothie at home down the drain, there was a long brown hair stuck to the inside of the cup that would easily match the employee who did not tie their hair back. We are VERY APPALLED and will NOT be coming back to this location. We are waiting for this case to be solved as we feel that the product quality and experience was the worst we had ever experienced at Jamba Juice. read more

A little disappointed. I ordered 3 drinks for myself and my kids and right before I ordered the guy at the register was upset about a previous customer that was being rude as stated by him and the other employees. Açaí Topper: Blended with fruit, soymilk and/or yogurt and topped with bananas and organic granola. It claims good sauce of fiber and protein. I'm sure it is. But tastewise, they didn't carry out the same quality as their smoothies. I am newish to the area and was craving an Açaí Bowl or something similar after working out at the gym, so I made my way to this nearby Jamba Juice location. This location is clean, the staff is nice, there's a good amount of seating (indoor and outdoor) and they make your order perfectly! My only complaint is the volume of the music inside the store. I couldn't hear the employee while I was ordering and they couldn't hear me. Regardless, I ordered a Pomegranate Bowl (which I hadn't seen on the East Coast) and it was good! The goji berries they put on top are awesome. It definitely hit the spot and I have a feeling I'll be back soon for another! read more

I had my morning workout but no had time for breakfast. On my way to my first appointment, I took one look at this Cost Mesa shopping center and thought it was a perfect place for a smoothie shop. I didn't care which franchise. I was hungry and I did not want to eat crap. Hey, cool, there is a Jamba Juice. I was greeted with enthusiastic hello's from 2 different cuties behind the counter. Always a good start. I also saw that they now carried fresh oatmeal. Sounded good. Most smoothie places don't carry something filling to go with the smoothies other than overly sweet muffins so this was a nice surprise. The oatmeal was not only good, it was great. A little brown sugar crumbled on top and some fresh banana slices for just $3.00. Add a small smoothie with extra protein powder and I was feeling good for under $8. Starbucks coffee etc Favorite smoothies: Peach pleasure- hands down the best and I've tried almost all the smoothies! I'm not even huge on peach but in a smoothie its very refreshing. Banana Berry- At one point this was on their discounted specials and it was really good! The only smoothie I did not enjoy has been the Aloha Pineapple; odd cuz I really like pineapple too. Gosh I am having the worst protein smoothie ever! How can a smoothie be actually bad? I've gotten the PB Protein before and it was just as great as anywhere. I ordered it with whey protein. Barely any peanut butter flavor. Can't taste the bananas either. The smoothie tastes so bad and I thought to myself they must have used pea protein. I've tried pea protein before and thought it tasted awful. I asked the girl about it. (I should have asked what protein did you use?).
