Maybe I'm just nostalgic for times gone by when there was a jamba right near my house? Maybe I love a smoothie that probably has too much sugar in it? Either way, seeing a jamba juice in the train station while I waited for a train was like a beacon of light. The person on staff was so kind and whipped up my smoothie quickly so I could get to my train with plenty of time. Would visit again if in union station! read more

Rude worker was on her phone the whole time. Eve when taking my order, had her phone to her ear and the portions were horrible.

I love this location! Even though it's a rush in the morning Kayla is always pleasant, she gets the drinks done and provides the best service! read more

What a great atmosphere to enjoy a natural smoothie or snacks like sandwich. It's inside Ogilvie Metra Train station and there are many food stores on 2 levels with plenty of seating and bathrooms. It's very clean and modern and you can sit and chat or walk for getting your steps in. Try it out! Get a Jamba Juice while you are here. Great juice and lots of great flavors. read more

The person working today, Evelyn, was so helpful and kind even with the large rush, and my smoothie was delicious. Go Evelyn!

If I could give this location 10 stars I would! I tried to call up there just now to get the young ladies name who served me because she was so pleasant. After scanning my rewards she reminded of my coupons and was very patient with a small line behind me. To make things even BETTER the smoothie topped it all! It was blended to perfection and looked smooth as can be. The place was tip top clean and had the best atmosphere for a morning rush. This will always be my favorite smoothie place! Keep killing it Jamba!!! read more

Jamba - PERFECTION!!!!! - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Incredible rude manager. There was a manager named Ray who was working today and I asked to get a drink that I literally purchased two days ago. This manager then proceeded to insist it's not real and being incredibly rude, talking over me and even telling me I'm being difficult. To prove him wrong, I went to the order online and showed the drink could be bought and made at this location. The manager refused to admit his wrong, shut the line down, and acted immaturely. Two other people in line comforted me and even walked out of line, stating he was rude and unprofessional. If Ray is working, do not come here. read more

Make sure you check in prior to ordering so you can use the $2.99 smoothie deal! I made the mistake of not doing that and that is the only time I will ever be at that station, so we paid about double of that price. Staff there are super nice. I got the Caribbean smoothie which looked and tasted really good. I was actually hungry and it filled me up during the train ride. A small is pretty big. read more

My girl Angel and April are the best people on the planet!! These two drinks are my mom and I's go to every single time. We never get tired of the taste. It tastes so yummy and filling that I can have two of them, just for the sake of tasting it again. The staff always greet us and they don't mind having conversation. They act like they enjoy working there and I just wish all employees felt like that or at least give that kind of energy towards their customers. JAMBA JUICE is a place where I've been going to since I was a kid. It's still a treat to enjoy a natural and delicious smoothie. read more

Jamba - Peanut butter moo'd and mango-a-go-go with strawberries - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

They don't have açaí bowls! Twice I showed up to be told they don't have any, I don't know if they stop making them at a certain time since I've gone past 5 o clock but I called them today to ask in advance and and I received a simple "no". Their smoothies are good though. Update: They do have açaí bowls and you can order ahead on the Jamba Juice app! Sometimes their system is down or they're out of açaí bowls. It's a hit or miss. read more

Wish I could say this is my all time favorite Jamba and it is better than all other locations. What I can tell you is I am a bit of a regular. It is located inside Ogilvie and is super convenient for commuters like myself. Service is relatively quick and consistent. Even when there is a crowd. When new items are introduced, samples are sometimes offered. The Acai Primo bowl is absolutely amazing as is the Simply Greens smoothie. I am not a fan of their oatmeal but notice it is a favorite of others. Like others, I purchased the Groupon promotion last year and used it without issue. On the other hand, the Yelp check in offer for a $2.99 smoothie is not honored here. On occasion, the receipt includes a survey with a buy one get one free promotion. All in all, this is a great location. I deducted a star because this location does not offer seating. read more

I stopped at Jamba Juice on my way from the train to the office and they did what they do best - make delicious "juice" This is a very small location on the second level of Ogilvie Transportation Center but it is perfectly positioned to hit up commuters morning and evening. This time I only had a fresh-squeezed orange juice (which was amazing and literally freshly squeezed) and a wheat grass shot (chlorophyll... a cure for what ails ya) but I've been a big fan of Jamba Juice for many, many years now. Some people complain about their drinks being rather high in sugar, and I could see that (I mean, they're fruit-based...) but that doesn't mean they are not delicious. Because they are! Anyway, this is a small location but the staff is friendly and they make drinks quickly. They're perfectly located and I'll be hitting them up again in the future for sure. read more

I wish everyone would stop beating up on my Jamba! It's Jamba Juice, folks! I have some advice for the heartless wailers: LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS FOLKS! I am a raw vegan so I live off of Jamba nectars, and I gotta tell ya, they're pure and they're raw so anything other than that is a big waste of words. I have never experienced anything close to what I would call adequate customer service but their carrot/orange juice slays whatever evil mood they juju on me. If you don't expect them to wait on you quickly or produce your smoothie before you collect social security then you'll be blown away when they do. Try it. In the meantime, they churn out phenomenal juices and smoothies. Nobody disputes it. So don't go there for the service. Go there for the healthiest meal alternative that you can purchase at Ogilvie! read more

I only went here due to the location and a gift card / coupon The service isn't horrible like many reviews claim, or maybe I'm always going on a good day. I love that Jamba has the calories straight on the board. It seems like this is a popular spot for commuters as I usually see many people there over the course of the day. Pros: The workers here will make recommendations if you are having trouble and if you tell them what you like. They make the drinks per order quickly and they come out tasty. Cons: Sometimes the staff can get flirty They run out of things I'm not big on Jamba as a chain but I haven't had any issues here. read more

The guy working here is a true mixologist! He was running the very busy stand all by himself. He was taking up to six orders at a time, mixing them all, and with minimal wait. read more

Customer service is so bad. The cashier asked what I wanted and then immediately turned away to do something else on his own. I waited for 2 more minutes until he came back to take my order. Then another girl made my order and looked like she wanted to have absolutely nothing to do with me. Oh my $7 for this service. read more

I love Jamba Juice. Not much to say other than that their drinks taste amazing!! I go here every once in a while. The drink in this pic if Razzmatazz but don't be scared to try other things although this is my favorite. It has a great selection or berries and also has a little sour twist but overall my favorite. They also have a secret menu which is where you can find different drinks not on the menu but the team members would be happy to make. I've tried the white gummy and it tastes very good!! Love this place. read more

Jamba - Razzmatazz - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I had an old girlfriend whose guru had told her not to mix fruit and vegetables when she was eating. I think it had to do with mixing yin and yang foods, but I'm probably wrong. Her guru was from India, and I don't think they do yin and yang there. She was from Seattle; you name it, they believe it there. She was a nice girl, and I'm an equal opportunity believer. I prefer 100% fruit in my smoothies anyway; so luckily I didn't have to worry about getting my chakras tied in a bunch. I also try to never mix meat and dairy in my smoothies; might as well keep them kosher too. On this occasion, to pay homage to her and his essence, I got the Mega Mango. I took it took it to the train, and happily sucked it down slowly, so as not to experience a Mega brain freeze. Jamba Juice is always expensive, but since I often don't get my five fruits and veggies a day, it can be worth it. Grabbing one to drink on the train is appealing, so long as I don't get one that's so large that I you need to use one of those nasty Metra bathrooms on the train. I use a mathematical equation that I've learned over time to prevent this: The size of the smoothie should be in the inverse proportion of the length of the train ride. read more

I love Jamba Juice, but they are so slow here! They have five people packed into this little store front, but typically there is only one one person actually doing work. I've been here upwards of twenty times, but I typically feel like I'm doing them a service instead of them servicing me for my five dollar smoothie. I'm a shareholder of Jamba and this location exemplifies how the stock price has plummeted from $10 a share to under a dollar in a year. read more

This has got to be the worst Jamba Juice I've ever been to! They were very slow, even though there were 3 people behind the counter. Made me miss the train I was planning on taking, luckily there was one leaving fifteen minutes later. Anyway, the person who took my order was also condescending, so I gave her attitude back. Good thing they blend it right in front of you or else I would have been afraid of her spitting in my drink. No gloves........... :\ read more

I love Jamba. I love the fact that there is one merely steps off my train at Ogilvie. That makes my mornings and afternoons a little sweeter. I mean who doesn't love fruit blended up in a smoothy concoction bursting with flavor? Not to mention that it's good for you too! I tend to stick with the lighter smoothies with a protein boost for a snack, but if I'm looking for a meal replacement (aka light breakfast) then some of the 200+ calorie smoothies are on my radar. I should mention though, I am a slave for their oatmeal. Honestly, I don't think I've ever had BETTER oatmeal. You're probably thinking that is a pretty bold statement, but it's totally true! The steel cut oats are slowly cooked into a creamy consistency with soy milk and topped with fun toppings such as fresh berries, brown sugar, nuts, etc. You can't go wrong, and it's so filling and cheap to boot. Psst...try the berry cherry oatmeal...it's my fave! read more

I'm actually pretty surprised by the bad reviews about this location. I come here probably 2-3 times a week, usually in the afternoon on weekdays because of the proximity to my work, and they are always friendly and fun. The most common complaint, speed, has never really been an issue, and I've gone when there have been up to 3 other people in line. They've offered plenty of opportunities for deals to get me to return to their location (fill out the survey online, informing me of coupons online, scratch and wins) and it always works! I'm actually really glad this store is so close by! I'll be back! read more

Bought a three groupon deal for their new energy bowls and the bowls were well-prepared, but it takes forever. And they're in no hurry here. They will have a conversation about whatever jamba juice drama they're having right in front of you, and they can't seem to be able to chat and prepare the food at the same time. Plus, when you approach, they are talking to you- as in repeating their routine welcome, how can I help you statement they had to learn in training- but staring at the screen. That doesn't make me feel welcome at all. As for the bowls themselves, they look prettier than they taste- and according to the workers, they don't even look that pretty unless they're not busy. The fruit that is blended inside is frozen fruit, which you will taste in frozen chunks in your bowl, which for a frozen smoothie, is fine, but in yogurt, is a bit jarring on the teeth. The yogurt based ones are better than the acai berry bowls, which is just a smoothie in a bowl. It's a lot of food and filling and seemingly healthy, so if you need a kick in the morning, go for it, but make sure you have the time to wait for it and you don't have any teeth sensitivity making it hard to chew on frozen fruit chunks. read more

Visiting from out of town and had a really good experience here. Ordered the white gummi and it was delicious! The guy that took my order listened well and was very friendly. read more

I love Jamba Juice, but I am starting to think they are ripping people off. I needed to get my greens for the day and decided on a quick smoothie versus a salad. I ordered the Apple -n-Greens smoothie. However, I am not a fan of kale, so I was told I could substitute with spinach. Maybe I misheard, maybe I misunderstood, but how did a small $5.00 smoothie become close to a $9.00 smoothie because I substituted kale for spinach???? I was charged a $1 for each scoop of spinach they put in...really JAMBA JUICE??? I fell for it this time, but trust me, I won't be a sucker again. (LOL) All in fun, but seriously, I think that is ridiculous. read more

I'm consistently impressed by how friendly the employees are at this Jamba Juice. I stop by on my way to work, so typically around 7:00 AM, and they're alert and friendly but not overly chatty - a perfect mix. I like that they greet everyone who walks up. I've received a free steel cut oatmeal someone decided they didn't want, which was great because #1. I hate when places waste perfectly good food and #2. free food for me! I never would have ordered it but now I'm a regular oatmeal purchaser. I haven't had an issue with speed but I'm always fresh off a train when I stop here rather than in a hurry. The longest wait I've had has been 3 people, and it did take a fairly long amount of time. Try the new Tropical Harvest smoothie. 3 servings of fruit and veggies and it tastes great. Especially for a pregnant gal who needs loads of nutrients and gets sick of eating carrots and apples all day. I didn't dish out 5 stars because the prices are crazy high for a smoothie or oatmeal, and I can see how the wait time could be problematic for someone in a hurry. read more

I love me a smoothie! As I pass through Ogilvie on my summer commute, I often stop of for a Jamba. This location is slightly less streamlined than others, so I always specify exactly what I want. Usually I have them forgo the sherbet in most drinks entirely. The Orange Creamsicle (hold the sherbet) is super refreshing and not too sweet! read more

They are probably the worse Jamba store I've been to. Now granted I get it. They aren't a real story. They are constantly bombarded by bewildered commuters who don't really know what they want. But at the same time I still expect some semblance of good service. No one seems to want to be there. It takes forever to get your smoothie. I'm regularly cheated and shorted on my smoothies. And if all that weren't enough they never have oatmeal. I get into the station at 8:00-8:15 and they never seem to have oatmeal! Ok they do have it sometimes. I'd say 2 out of 5 days they have oatmeal. I'd like to be a regular here but I'd rather pay the extra buck and go to Starbucks and get great service and a better product. read more

While customer service is important, employees who know what they're doing, are comfortable using a cash register and can process a customer's order correctly, are worth their weight in juices and smoothies. Sadly, unless April is waiting on you, a correct order has passed these employees by. First, twice, an employee has double charged my credit card where I had to have the charge removed by my bank. Second, for at least 10 out of the 12 smoothies I purchased, insider rewards were not credited for my purchase for the phone number placed at the register, even though the employee said he got it. What the heck? Third, while it's understandable that a handcrafted smoothie will taste slightly different each time prepared, to taste like a totally different recipe is beyond bizarre. From the consistency, to the texture to the blending of the flavors, to the alleged ingredients, a Kaleribbean Breeze will look and taste totally different at this Jamba Juice each time it's ordered. At $6 and change for a small, customers should demand more. I certainly do. The last straw was when a male employee blasted a customer for wanting to order the Green Up and Go smoothie that was no longer on the menu. Instead of politely stating the situation, this employee went bonkers with loud rants & raves against this customer whom said she previously ordered that smoothie and got that it was no longer available. Too much drama makes a smoothie at this Jamba Juice, not worth the time, energy and $$$$. read more

I was literally at this location for less than 10 minutes and it was one of the worst experiences I ever had at a business. First, the woman at the register had an extremely negative attitude. Then, she lied about the ingredients in one of the smoothies. The man making it refused to remake the drink. Because our train was coming shortly we couldn't get our money back. I feel very cheated by this location and will not be returning to any Jamba Juice. What a ripoff. read more

Juice is great but I really appreciate how friendly and outgoing the staff is even when they have a line of rushy commuters

The product is excellent the employee attitude less so. I don't need to hear your squabbles. I also don't need attitude when I tell you, you forgot to give me my change and receipt. read more

Went here to try it during the free promotion because I've never had it but have heard good things. They stated they were "out" of the promotional juice. What? So make a different one. Cashier was rude, and that is terrible business. I guess I won't be changing from my normal morning drink choice. read more

I come here almost every day because they have the best service and it's consistent. The apple cinnamon oatmeal with brown sugar crisp is addictive. I have pretty much tried every smoothie. They are all good. They also have some food that's not on the menu. The flatbread thingie with chicken is delicious and there's a waffle that has all the flavor built in and it doesn't need syrup. You really can't go wrong with any of the choices. I like everything except the wheatgrass cup but I don't think that's for taste. read more

This is probably the worst Jamba location in the city. I was really wanting some Jamba oatmeal this morning for breakfast and given that this location is in the train station, I thought, "I might as well give it a shot." Now, I haven't been to this location since they had their small renovation about a year a go or so, and all I really remember about the location before that was that they were SO SLOW. So... you can imagine my surprise and delight when my oatmeal was ready so fast. I kind of thought it was a little too good to be true, but figured, how can you really mess up oatmeal? Now for the fun part, I get to my desk, take of the lid and realize THERE ARE NO BANANAS. Thank you so much, crap Jamba location, for charging me for "Fresh Banana Oatmeal" only to serve me regular oatmeal. read more

Disgusting banana! I can understand using an overly ripe banana for your smoothies. More than likely no one could tell the difference. However, when it comes to oatmeal a fresher banana is needed. I ordered some to go and could not even eat the banana as it was grossly over ripe. Please serve fresh food to your customers. Thank you. read more

I love Jamba, so this isn't a knock on the company, just a recommendation to avoid this location. It is only a small kiosk type store, so they don't have the full menu. Much of what they do offer is done in a way to minimize the stock they carry - for example the oatmeal is served in a smoothie glass rather than a bowl - making it very tough to eat. Poor service and attitude as well. They didn't offer the boost that is supposed to come with my smoothie either. Overall very poor experience. read more
