After washing my hair two weeks later I smelled a chemically smell that even my braider noticed hours after washing while doing my hair. It seems like it may be a texturizer based on my curls laying "flatter" but it's very disgusting to believe that someone would put something in your hair that's not asked for. I also have obvious heat damage in the back as well. Really unfortunate! Don't recommend at all.

Firstly, I made an appointment at a certain time, and I received service right after I came in. This may not seem like a big deal but for black salons, that's a novelty. My stylist was Jessica and she guided me through everything she did with my hair, another great thing. She was very gentle when washing my hair and I the deep condition w/ hot oil treatment was very effective considering how dry my hair has been. I trust very few people w/ my natural hair, but she handled it with care and most importantly, respect. I came in with a picture of a braided style I wanted and Jessica suggested that she jazz it up a little. She started doing her thing but she always gave me the option of taking out the braids if I didn't care for it. She braided carefully and tightly, but did not hurt me at all. By the end, my hair was a braided perfection! I felt like heaven. This was a wonderful experience. Pleasant, helpful stylist who also offered good conversation. The salon was clean and beautifully decorated. All of the people, including the barbers were kind and professional. I thought I was going to break the bank for 3 and 1/2 hours of haircare but she only charged me $75! Needless to say, I left her a decent tip and will definitely be going back.

She had an attitude then said OK well I will just use the cheap beauty supply stuff on your hair.....what? OK whatever, now I'm annoyed. After twisting, in a sarcastic demeaning voice she asked "is this okay to spray in your hair?". Lastly, it was time to pay.....I asked if they take cards and she said no. I said no problem I'm going to walk next door to the atm. She said OK you have to leave your cell phone, wallet or something. I got really offended she asked me to leave a personal item just to go next door for a measley $65 hair bill. I explained, just a clean up don't try to fix anything or shape anything. The lady cuts through my eyebrow leaving a "dent" in my eyebrow hairs, see picture below. When I pointed it out she goes "I suppose" "I guess it's the wax" what?!
