My hair was not washed properly. She rushed. Didn't take her time to completely dry my hair and my hair smelled burned and when I told her about it she had an attitude and claimed she used the same products which was a complete lie. To be honest I feel like she is racist and only like to do business with hispanics. I would not recommend her at all. My hair was damaged from the low quality products she used and blow drying it without applying or reapplying heat protectant. Her shop is closed but she is still operating outside of her home. I would not recommend going to her to have your hair done and if you do record your entire encounter for your records. She didn't even offer a solution or to give me half my money back seeming that she did half of a horrible job and caused my hair to shed.

I usually wash my hair myself weekly and do my own blow outs for the fear my hair would be damaged at a salon chosen at random. I see a professional at home stylist every 2 months. I decided to give Impact another visit after transitioning natural for 9 months. Mirelly still has her parrot Angel who says hello, how are you? I have had relaxers, wash and sets and blow outs here. Time and Time again, they never disappoint. The salon products they use are compatible with my hair texture. My hair is never dry, fried or Frizzy. Mirelly knows how to press and flat iron natural hair so that it is in sync with the rest of the hair. I currently have Brazilian body wave hair extensions and this was the 1st time while at a salon, that I was completely pleased with how thorough my hair was washed. When u wash hair extensions they should be spic and span. No build up or residue. Impact has left a lasting impact on me and I will be back for in between maintenance.

My hair feels lighter, soft and smells amazing. I went for a cut and treatment, and what a treatment it was. Tree tea oil shampoo, and so much more I just never felt my scalp breath the way it did. I left thinking my hair looked good and when I got home my husband was the first to complain. I took the mirror and looked at the back of my head. Oh no! My hair was not palm rolled and fuzzy. Bad enough the ridiculous price of $120 for a wash for locs and a simple style, she charged me an extra $16. I understood for an intricate style she would charge $20 but that's not what I received or asked for. She said a simple style was free. The front of my hair was put into rosettes/Bantus which Carla pinned down. The rest was put into a side ponytail. I did not know she did not palm roll my hair. That's basic common sense, and with 30 years of experience she knows better. Who does not palm roll starter locs so it can hold its shape? She didn't tell me she was going to have to charge me extra for the simple style. Dishonest, shoddy styling and jacked up pricing. She only handed me a small mirror where I could see the front not the back. I didn't know it was horrendous. Then they go smiling in your face and overcharging you. Then you leave thinking you look salon fresh. Run! Do not go here! Save $136 dollars and a jacked up hairstyle. I would've done a way better job myself. I only went here because my stylist was out of town. I am going to call them and tell how bad of a job Ms Carla did on my hair. Shame on them!

I washed my hair and my hair was falling out. All I did was run my fingers through my wet hair and my hand was full of hair. I called and explained they were the last ones who touched my hair and all I did was wash it and the attitude and the way I was brushed off as if it didn't matter is horrible. I wasn't going to leave a review because I guess I got what I paid for but today my hair is falling out again and chunks of my hair is just falling out all stringy. It's insane. I never asked for any money back I genuinely wanted them to help me figure out what happened and what was used because my hair is still falling out!!! My hair texture is naturally curly but now my curls are so stringy so I refuse to believe something wasn't put in my hair. Update: it was determined my hair was relaxed. They put it in the conditioner. my hair has fallen out and I am now forced to cut my hair into a pixie style due to the fact my hair has broken off in different areas of my head. This is completely unbelievable and I'm beyond upset. The lack of accountability is beyond me. If you're a naturalists do not go here they are clearly afraid of Afros or big hair.
