Julie was really a great PT, she helped me to regain normal movement in my almost-frozen shoulder…read more She is very patient, and has amazingly strong hands and fingers! She's also kind and has a fun sense of humor, which helps when going through the treatment procedures. After I shared my background with her, she provided me with lots of physiological information which may not be of interest to everyone but that I really appreciated. Hopefully I won't need to, but if I ever need PT again I'd definitely try to get referred here again!

I got referred to Holomua by my PCP back in December of 2024(I believe.) I was skeptical at first…read moreand didn't want to do therapy, but my PCP always told me if I didn't like it, then I can always stop. I was also worried about missing work since I had just started a new job. The staff here was so nice and understanding about that and was able to work with my schedule. The office is located in the Aloha United Way building on the corner of North Vineyard Blvd and A'ala Street. There's a lot of parking in the building itself(make sure to check in at the security desk) and also street parking(metered.) I recently "graduated" from both pelvic floor therapy and physical therapy for my knees. At first I was seeing Julie for my pelvic floor therapy. She was so amazing with helping me figure out the cause of my pain and has taught me how to be more aware and mindful of my body. She also encouraged me to start my running journey. I had mentioned how I was thinking about signing up for some races, but I wasn't sure since I was having all that pain in my pelvic area and my history with pain in my knees. Julie encouraged me to just start running and even gave me some tips for my knee pain. I ended up running and was having problems with my knees again. My PCP sent a referral to Holomua for that as well and that's where I met Steph and Neil(the owner.) Steph and Neil helped me so much with my running journey! I learned a lot and will forever carry all this knowledge with me along my running journey. I've gotten physical therapy services elsewhere before and it didn't help. Holomua made me feel heard and didn't make me feel like I was being a "baby" about all the pain I was having. So far I've ran the King's Runner 2025, Hapalua half marathon 2025, and will be running in the Honolulu Marathon this year as well with the help of Neil's advice and words of encouragement. Julie, Steph, and Neil have been wonderful. I'd highly recommend them to friends and family in the future.

Went there over a dozen times for a little over a month to get rid of this chronic pain in my left…read moreshoulder which I aggravated during weight training in the gym. I had a sharp pinching pain in my shoulder when reaching behind my back and overhead. I also had a nagging pain when sleeping or when my arm was resting. Rx pain drugs from my Internist didn't help so he suggested Physical Therapy. Now after my final session, my pain is almost completely gone. Cody Gillis recommended stretching by hanging from a overhead bar to get rid last of the minor pinching. They recommended stretches and light weight training and Cody massaged and stretched my shoulder to get the arm bone correctly located in the shoulder socket. This really helped in relieving the pain. They emphasized pulling my shoulders back and contracting the shoulder blades during exercising to avoid re-injuring my shoulder. Also, mahalo to my physical trainer Blaise who made sure I kept the proper form during exercising and stretching. The entire staff including the office staff were always helpful, polite and friendly. Even the interaction between the personable staff and other patients made the atmosphere more like a social club. Mahalo to the entire staff and other patients for making this a memorable experience.

Nothing is more confusing than this place and I've never stepped foot in the building…read more.. First of all I think I checked into the wrong site (St Francis Medical Center) not sure why they have the other one and if anyone visits this place as the reviews re next to nothing for either one so here I go. My initial visit is to Hawaii Diagnostic Radiology Services which says St. Francis Medical Center 2230 Liliha St Suite 106 Okay as soon as I get there I see a parking entrance to the left and immediately went in and parked on the first floor thinking I got the best parking right next to the elevator which has the directory floor that had no notation of HDRS...!? Got in the elevator and went on the 2nd floor...nope still parking and obviously didn't see the part on the directory that says "Take elevator to Level P3" OMG! So I walked around while it heavily rained passed 2226 and 2228 Liliha so the main building must be 2230!?!? Then hallelujah I see a sign that says HDRS so I approached forward and a security at the front asked where I was going and directed me to it which is just to the right of the main entrance. Only to leave when I was done to see there was another parking entrance with walkway directly to the garage hahaha!!! Parking I absolutely agree is very tight and tricky I almost ran into a pole after fixing my car from the last that cost me $300 you know I wasn't thrilled about that, no more anxieties as I don't want to park here though don't know why there's a fee since they all fully validate. Thanks!

Congratulations. This facility has the worst parking structure in Hawaii. Stalls are narrow,…read moresubstantially all of the stalls are compact stalls, a lot of drivers park over the line, you have less than a foot to open your car door, and directional signs are too sparse to be useful. When you enter the main parking entrance off the Hospital porte cochere, it says visitor parking is limited to levels 1B, 2B, 3A, and 3B. However, there is no signage indicating what level you are on. So when you drive up to the next level, you find out you are now on level 4A. So you need to turn around and drive down. Even when you walk into the main hospital entrance, there are no directional signs to the office you are looking for. For example, when you enter the main entrance, it has a great directory which has a listing for office 104. After looking for office 104 in the main lobby for 5 minutes and getting frustrated, a cleaner asked me what I was looking for and told me office 104 is outside and 50 feet to the left of the main entrance. The facility itself is in excellent condition. However, the signage needs a complete makeover.
