We had the smash burger and fries. Absolutely outstanding, no notes. And a good value as well.

I love Sweet Wheels Farm Stand in Summerland. They have been my go to stop every time I'm in town…read moreand I love that they've now found their outdoor storefront to be nestled appropriately between two businesses. They are a cute / covered awning outdoor market - aka food stand. Currently they are open 7 days a week so you have the opportunity to shop their home made bakery good, produce and canned goods. They also have flowers which you can buy by the stem to make your own personal arrangements. Sweet Wheel Farm itself is closed to the public so this is the best way to support them and to get their local goods. You can check out their website for more information about their farming and how they give back to the community. They are simply amazing and after talking to the owner Leslie upon one of my quick shopping trips to her market I felt so empowered by the great work her and her team are doing, also grateful as I learned so many fabulous tidbits from her. Back to the farm stand. I adore them and their selection. They always have the most gorgeous veggies and fruits. What I will admit though is I'm a sucker for their bakery goods and fresh baked breads. Every time I come I have to buy a huge loaf of their olive bread - transports me to Italy or Spain everytime I eat it. Definitely my favorite item them sell here. Recently though I tried their apple muffins and brown butter chocolate chip cookies. Both were great but the cookies were fabulous! I need to leave with more next time because they were devoured by the family within hours. When in Summerland you must support this local farm stand and take some time to learn more about their farming and the amazing work they are doing for our community and food sensitive population. 5/5 stars all day long and I'll be back soon. Promise!

It smelled amazing and everyone working there is super nice. The tacos are $2 & filled with meat. I ordered 4, but only finished 2 and the next day the corn tortillas held up so well after I reheated it. Which is solid because most street tacos tortillas will usually fall apart. They had option of hot sauces, including a mild cactus hot sauce. Also a variety of toppings you can stick In a little bag instead of using those plastic ramekins. This is a cash only establishment but they take Venmo. I will absolutely be back more often since I usually never have cash on me, which is why I didn't go over before. This is truly such a LA Vibe for amazing street food.

My friends and I stopped by…read moreBrothers Cousins Tacos on a Thursday evening around 8:00 p.m. and there were only a few people in line in front of us. I ordered four tacos in total: two al pastor tacos, one lengua, and one cabeza taco. You start by ordering on the left side of the stall, pay for your food, and work your way right where all the garnishes and sauces are. Of the tacos I tried, my favorite was by far the cabeza. The meat was fatty and rich and melt-in-your-mouth tender. I would definitely recommend a squeeze of lime and raw diced onions to help cut the richness for a more balanced bite. With the al pastor, Brothers Cousins has a bunch of meat already sliced and diced up on the grill top, which unfortunately means unless you're getting the pieces of meat that are directly contacting the grill, you're not going to get the crispy bits that make al pastor so delicious. You do get a piece of pineapple with the al pastor, so that's a nice touch. Not my al pastor, but far from the worst. Overall, I cannot recommend Brothers Cousins enough if you're in this area -- the tacos here are seriously delicious and you're getting insane value. I hope they're able to maintain the $2 price point well into the future.

I have a lot of memories here: birthdays, first dates with my now-husband, celebrations of all kinds, and plenty of happy hours. And don't let the fact that it's inside a hotel fool you. This is one hotel restaurant that absolutely holds its own. The atmosphere feels elevated but still relaxed, which is exactly my kind of spot. They offer happy hour Monday-Friday from 2-5 pm, and honestly, it's a great excuse to pop in early. I'm a big fan of ordering shared small plates so everyone can try a little bit of everything. Some of my favorites: * Beef Carpaccio * Gamberoni * Octopus * Fuyu Persimmon (and definitely add the focaccia because it pairs so well with burrata). * Charcoal Avocado * Shishito Peppers * Za'atar Flatbread with the ricotta + hummus accompaniments For drinks, the Jiji Spritz is my pick for a refreshing summer drink. And if you're a dirty martini person, the Convivo Dirty Martini is a must. The patio is such a vibe, especially when you're looking for a relaxed Santa Barbara meal that still feels a little special. Add the sunset and ocean breeze and, like, come on. The service is consistently great, and a special shoutout to Angel, the personable and warm manager, who always makes the experience feel welcoming. What keeps me coming back, though, is the consistency. The food is always delicious, the service is always great, and there's something about returning to a place that's been part of so many good memories. And bonus points for complimentary valet! There's also free street parking along East Cabrillo Blvd and the surrounding streets, although spaces can fill up quickly during peak hours.

Came here to grab dinner with a friend. We got the funghi pizza and the octopus. The pizza came out super quickly and was hot and crispy. I loved the different types of mushrooms and artichokes on the pizza, 8/10. The octopus wasn't anything special. It was a bit smaller than expected, and it was the same price as the pizza. I'd rather get another pizza than this octopus. The octopus came with a piece of pork belly, which was honestly better than the octopus, 6/10. The meal ended with complementary cookies. I think they are supposed to give them to you, but our waiter forgot and we just asked for them! They are small crunchy cookies, a great way to end our meal.
