A wonderful, local, small business and makes you feel like you are family. (We need more businesses like this in Wellington). Their pet food/ loyalty program is unlike anything I have experienced. When we have needs (the staff and owner listens and recommends). Doesn't try to upsell only provides quality products and service. Our fur babies love the treats we find at Jake's. read more

I have been a fan of Jake's pet supply for a few years, but I took my friend today for the first time. His dog was having some food issues and some bowel issues. Between Alexa, Alex, and the manager, Mitchell, we got so many questions answered! Even questions we didn't even know we had, we've got answers too. They gave us some free samples and sent us on our way with a lot of great information. We were thrilled to find out they deliver! We will definitely be back to this location. If your dog has any issues of any kind, the knowledge base inside Jake's is one worth tapping into! Thank you, Jake's, you have customers for life! read more

Jake's Pet Supply - Open Farm - Pet Stores Near Me - Lake Worth, Florida

When grocery brand pet food and treats aren't good enough, this store will definitely thrill pet enthusiasts. As you can see from my photos, this place is huge and jam-packed with all kinds of mostly dog supplies. They have a cat section too. I saw all kinds of fresh and mostly natural dog treats, and all kinds of grain-free and organic cbd treats and foods. There were toys, beds, toys and clothes. Leashes and carriers, and all sorts of grooming supplies. They have a display case just for special occasion treats that look good enough to eat. Trust me there are simply too many things to list. The owner is very nice & he offered to order a specific cbd treat for us, and offered us a close alternative. He let us know we could return them if our dog didn't like them. I highly recommend store & you will love it if you're crazy about your pets. read more

I love this place. It's like a mall for pet supplies. They have everything you need, I promise.

The store is well supplied with good products. All the employees are very nice and helpful. I get my dogs food from here monthly with free same day delivery. I love this service because sometimes I don't realize how much food he has left. They are always a lifesaver. The store is pretty big with a large variety of everything you might need. read more

I don't know if this is a chain or a franchise but the woman I usually speak with I believe is the owner. She goes out of her way to be helpful and when I'm not sure what food to change she always has samples for me to bring home and try. I was giving my dog and cats Orijin and it was quite expensive and she must've given me about 15 bags of samples between the dog and the cat for me to try. The cats are now on Fromm it's still pricey but not as pricey as the Orijin and you give them your last name and after so many bags of food you get a free one. Make sure you see them put your name in the computer because once there was a new person there and didn't add my purchase. But when I went back in the next time The lady who I believe is the owner went ahead and added it on for me read more

Disappointing. Rip off pet store. The owner is obnoxious after spending hundreds monthly. No problem, I recommend ordering from Chewy.

Everyone was super amazing. we brought our two dogs to the self wash, and both the owner and workers were very helpful of anything we needed. very easy to work with. We used our own products and tools although they have anything you would need. Including towels and tables! Definitely suggest anyone wondering goes and tries it. we definitely will return. read more

Love supporting this local business! Everyone who works here is always kind and helpful. They have great products and they have a simple online ordering system with a curbside pickup or delivery option. Owners are amazing and they participate in giving back to the community. Thank you! read more

I've been trying to find a pet store that carries all the raw foods and quality treats, bones. Etc. This is it! The owner knows his products. The store is huge and carries everything! I'm so happy to have found Jake's. read more

Really awesome service. If I place my order around 9:00am it's usually at my door by 1:00pm. They have a large selection of foods that aren't carried at any of the commercial places. I feed my cocker spaniel Victor hi pro plus. It'd take me nearly an hour round trip to get this food but Jake's delivery service saves me all that time. Our Pomeranian hurt her leg and was refusing to eat her normal food. I was becoming worried and about ready to cook her some "people food." I explained my situation to Jake's and they were nice enough to send me two free samples of a human grade dehydrated food. She actually ate it and is thankfully back to eating her normal food. Lastly, Jake's has a large selection of healthier treats that my dogs love. Really grateful to have this service and couldn't recommend Jake's more. Awesome. read more

Always helpful staff. The are willing to order anything you need. Pricing is competitive with other chain stores but their personalized service , advice and caring can't be any better. read more

This place is amazing They carry speciality food and fair prices and offer a rewards card It's a staff full of animal lovers who are really friendly and seem to love what they do One staff member spent 10 minutes trying to lure my dog into a kennel to see if it was the right size for her. (She's an anxious dog) My pup loves our trips there I live about 30 minutes away but make a special trip because they make it worth it. They also have lots of grain free and organic dog food, my baby has sensitive skin/allergies so this is a great option read more

I have been using Jake's for a while now and they are an excellent pet supply store. The owner and staff are always so nice to deal with in person and on the phone. I mostly get delivery which is easy and convenient but I do like to stop in sometimes just to grab things in the store. We have 5 or 6 pet food stores closer to us but we give Jake's our business. They are family owned, have a great selection, great service, and fast free delivery. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. The owners and staff are super helpful and their products are amazing. We really like the variety of grain free and preservative free treats plus the variety of animal bones without all the junk that is put in dog food and treats. They also have an amazing free delivery service with a $20+ within 15 miles. Same day delivery if the order is placed before 10am. My first online order was after 10am and the owner STILL delivered later that afternoon.I won't order or shop anywhere else. Makes my life easier so I don't have to go to the store with my toddler. It's better then any pet store around. read more

The selection is great at this store. All the employees are eager to help and genuinely care about animals. However, the owner, is so over-bearing and pushy that he makes it very uncomfortable when he is around. I have read another review on here where the owner of the store disagrees with advice from a veterinarian and the same thing has happened to us. "Your vet doesn't know anything" was the quote when I was asking about all the news regarding grain-free foods. We decided to listen to our vet and not the greedy store owner when making dietary decisions for our 7 dogs. Yes we have 7 dogs! The best thing this guy can do for his business is not show up and let his employees do the job considering that his behavior costs his business at least the $750.00 a month we spend on dog food. The 3 stars are for the really nice employees that have to deal with this guy. read more

So many things that I love about this stThis store is really great. They don't sell actual pets within the store which is something I'm very thankful for and they get quality products on the shelves. Everyone who works there is very nice and generally very knowledgeable as well. I was very excited to see that they were recently able to expand, allowing them to carry more products. Generally if they don't have something I'd like, they are happy to order it for me. Since I am buying large bags of catlitter which are very heavy I like that they offer to bring it out to your car and they've also offered to drop it off at my home since I live nearby. read more

Whenever I am on a Walmart run I stop in and grab the special products that I notice they receive compared to other pet retailers. They have such a variety of cat can/ wet food products and what's even better is they have the bigger size cans of certain companies that I never can find at other stores. Prices are reasonable for it being a independent store and I love the workers! If your cat likes tiki cat, weruva, Stella and chewy or Fussie cat definitely recommend stopping by! read more

I don't know where to begin. I absolutely LOVE Jake's the owners and their staff are top notch! They go out of there way to help and often above and beyond! They are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. Their customer service is phenomenal! I have been going there for a while now and won't go anywhere else! It is simply amazing! To share ..... I was taking my German shepherd on a rode trip and needed to get a seatbelt to keep her safe and out of the front seat. :) Stacey (the owner) not only helped me and was very knowledgeable but she took it one step further and showed me how to attach it in my vehicle with my pet in the rain! (No one does that .... I was most appreciative!) We had a great trip and she was safe and happy. In my opinion Jake's is the # 1 pet supply store in this area. I will be a customer for life!! Thank you Stacey and your staff! read more

I love this pet store! Went for the first time today and I was surprised to see all of the different dog food brands they offer. You can tell they really care about your pet by the quality of dog food brands they put on their shelves. They don't just sell you anything. I took a good look around and I didn't see any "crappy" brands. The people there are helpful and know what they're talking about. I like to switch my dog's food brand up so he can get different nutrients and I like how an employee there helped us out to find the brand that fits our dog's needs. It was clear that he knew what he was talking about. I also make sure to look at Dog Food Advisor any time I go buy my dog food. The prices are fair, and they offer some nice sales too. I also got a toy to play tug-of-war with (in the pics). Will definitely be back, I much rather support them than a chain pet store that will sell any mediocre pet food to you. read more

They have made many mistakes regarding my orders and the owner is rude regarding mistakes they made. I do not experience the same problems with my orders up north. read more
