As you can see from my photos, this place is huge and jam-packed with all kinds of mostly dog supplies. They have a cat section too. I saw all kinds of fresh and mostly natural dog treats, and all kinds of grain-free and organic cbd treats and foods. There were toys, beds, toys and clothes. Leashes and carriers, and all sorts of grooming supplies. They have a display case just for special occasion treats that look good enough to eat. Trust me there are simply too many things to list. The owner is very nice & he offered to order a specific cbd treat for us, and offered us a close alternative. He let us know we could return them if our dog didn't like them. I don't know if this is a chain or a franchise but the woman I usually speak with I believe is the owner. She goes out of her way to be helpful and when I'm not sure what food to change she always has samples for me to bring home and try. I was giving my dog and cats Orijin and it was quite expensive and she must've given me about 15 bags of samples between the dog and the cat for me to try. The cats are now on Fromm it's still pricey but not as pricey as the Orijin and you give them your last name and after so many bags of food you get a free one. Make sure you see them put your name in the computer because once there was a new person there and didn't add my purchase. Really awesome service. If I place my order around 9:00am it's usually at my door by 1:00pm. They have a large selection of foods that aren't carried at any of the commercial places. I feed my cocker spaniel Victor hi pro plus. It'd take me nearly an hour round trip to get this food but Jake's delivery service saves me all that time. Our Pomeranian hurt her leg and was refusing to eat her normal food. I was becoming worried and about ready to cook her some "people food." I explained my situation to Jake's and they were nice enough to send me two free samples of a human grade dehydrated food. She actually ate it and is thankfully back to eating her normal food. Lastly, Jake's has a large selection of healthier treats that my dogs love. Really grateful to have this service and couldn't recommend Jake's more. Awesome. read more

I mostly get delivery which is easy and convenient but I do like to stop in sometimes just to grab things in the store. We have 5 or 6 pet food stores closer to us but we give Jake's our business. The selection is great at this store. All the employees are eager to help and genuinely care about animals. However, the owner, is so over-bearing and pushy that he makes it very uncomfortable when he is around. I have read another review on here where the owner of the store disagrees with advice from a veterinarian and the same thing has happened to us. "Your vet doesn't know anything" was the quote when I was asking about all the news regarding grain-free foods. We decided to listen to our vet and not the greedy store owner when making dietary decisions for our 7 dogs. Yes we have 7 dogs! The best thing this guy can do for his business is not show up and let his employees do the job considering that his behavior costs his business at least the $750.00 a month we spend on dog food. We really like the variety of grain free and preservative free treats plus the variety of animal bones without all the junk that is put in dog food and treats. They also have an amazing free delivery service with a $20+ within 15 miles. Same day delivery if the order is placed before 10am. They have such a variety of cat can/ wet food products and what's even better is they have the bigger size cans of certain companies that I never can find at other stores. I love this pet store! Went for the first time today and I was surprised to see all of the different dog food brands they offer. You can tell they really care about your pet by the quality of dog food brands they put on their shelves. They don't just sell you anything. I took a good look around and I didn't see any "crappy" brands. The people there are helpful and know what they're talking about. I like to switch my dog's food brand up so he can get different nutrients and I like how an employee there helped us out to find the brand that fits our dog's needs. It was clear that he knew what he was talking about. I also make sure to look at Dog Food Advisor any time I go buy my dog food. The prices are fair, and they offer some nice sales too.
