Stay FAR FAR away from this place! Hanna the groomer is completey inexperienced and groomed my dog and completely shaved her and nicked her in several spots. Then she called me to tell me that my dog who's never done this before is banging her head into the cage, and she has two red bumps on the top of her head. I went back the following day with my other dog as I already had an appointment scheduled. She canceled my appointment so she says and I receive no notification. She refuse to groom my dog when I drove 30 minutes to get here and then told me I would have to come back later and deal with the manager. Extremely terrible customer service and they don't treat the dogs. Well, please do yourself a favor for you and your pets. She accuse me of abusing my dogs as well. read more

got the vital care premier to save money on pet food and grooming etc.. The front cashiers are not the nicest. The one mgr on duty was not pleasant and we went over all their xtra charges for grooming and they add 5.99 for their usage of grooming materials and i wanted to give them my dogs medicated shampoo and they said additional charge of 8.00 and i said why.. they said its their time costs money.. since shampoo has to be left on for 5 minutes!! they nickle and dime all their basic grooming add ons.. not sure the vital care premier worth it.. my dog got a bacterial infection from there on his paws too.. not sure how clean it is there and if they clean up well after all dogs get off tables? anyone else have this issues there?? not sure if i want to go back for grooming or not...wellington petco grooming read more

OMG - no one answers the phone. Not grooming because they are short staffed, then the phone doesn't default to a cashier, or a manger. This has been going on for quite awhile. I was out of the country, received a text before a grooming appt. Made the call, and many calls, because no one answered. All i wanted to do was respond to the text i received. Logic tells me that if you don't answer the phone, how serious are you about the business? Second, why would i have any trust especially if there's a communication breakdown to allow my pet to be groomed or anything for that matter? What if I had a simple question regarding a product? It is the day before Christmas December 24 and my Fishtank got a leak. I went into the Petco and it was quite crazy. I was having a hard time finding what I was looking for. There was an amazing young man named Matt who was beyond great and help me with everything that I needed. He also let me know that if I look up what I was looking for on the app that I would find it cheaper. He looked it up for me and help me find it on my phone.I cannot thank Matt enough for all his help! As crazy as his place was, it was one beautifully! I bought a pretty large expensive dog cage there just this Friday, yesterday a metal piece off the door just broke off. I went today to return it and they said NOPE we cant take anything back do to the Corona Virus, The fat slob working there didnt seem to be to worried about Corona, she didnt have any mask or gloves taking money from people. Kelly at the register was extremely rude and unprofessional when we went back a few seconds later and asked to use the coupon after we accidentally forgot to use it. She made us feel like we were doing something wrong and had a really bad attitude problem. I could not believe the service we were receiving from her. After she ran us up the second time she said said "You SAVED $2.80" and said it horribly. We didn't hold up the line because someone else was at the other register. On top of that we went in a saw the picture attached. The cats in this place are NOT being taken care of. The cat box was so disgusting and the poor cats were pooping and peeing outside of the box. The place is actually put together and seems easy to find things but I will not be shopping here after seeing and experiencing this at this Petco. read more

I cannot believe how horrible I was treated tonight at this store. I walked in 30 minutes before they were closing. A woman walked up thinking I was ready to cash out, I informed her I was looking for bunny stuff and asked if she had any knowledge on bunnies. She honestly said no but walked me over to the food/supplies etc. I stood in that isle until closing, cluelessly looking at the products and not even one person came over to assist me. I walked towards the cashier area to see if I can find someone who might be able to help me. There was 2 employees talking to each other. I'm assuming one manager or someone in charge and an employee. I politely said excuse me and the manager guy looked at me and walked away. The other employee was about to walk away too before I said "I just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about bunnies". The manager rudely said from afar "we don't sell any bunnies" WOW! Clearly!! I could not believe his response! The other employee was trying his hardest to answer like "ehhhh" with a clear NO on his face. I said "nevermind, no one here seem like they can help me" and started putting my stuff back on the shelf. The other employee acknowledged that I was irritated and came up to me and said "I don't know any thing about bunnies but I can attempt to help you, what questions do you have?" While this is all going on the manager rudely came up to him and told him to go check the rest of the store and make sure no other customers are left. He helped as much as he could but was rushing the whole time like, get this & that. I went to the cashier to check out. She was the nicest person I encountered in the store from beginning to end. Her name is Delaney according to my receipt. While she's checking me out here comes the manager being rude again, asking about trash, asking if she has a phone on her, telling her how to let me out of the store... The getting out info I understand but he could of waited till she was not dealing with a customer to ask about anything else. I checked out at 9:04 and all the manager was worried about was closing and leaving it seems. My subtotal came out to almost $70, I will be returning all my items to another store in the morning because I refuse to enter that store again! I had gotten some hay there one time and there were bugs in my Timothy hay, I went about a week ago, I ordered more hay but it's not coming for a little bit. So I went to the store today and saw some bugs in the batches, however I did find a good batch I think, at least from what I'm seeing. Recently had possibly my worst customer service experience ever because of one the managers. Specifically the manager name "Shannon". After being misinformed with the same exact information by two of the staff, Shannon was very prompt in blaming "her staff". I can see this happening with one member of the staff but chances are that two different members of the staff stating the same thing is because they were told by management. She was rude, unkind and unreasonable, no desire to accommodate me. She came as far as telling me that I was not a customer. Wrong, big time wrong, she made this statement without even knowing. I have been a customer of Petco for years, but now because of Shannon I will no longer be. If you go to the store, my advice, stay away from "Shannon" if you do not want to be treated badly and disrespectfully. She should not be dealing with customers. Not an asset to the store. I do not recommend this Petco. Specially if you are going for grooming. We walked in very happy with our puppy and we saw a groomer named Rana who was extremely rude for everything all the time. Also before talking to her she was yelling at a puppy not in a good way to stop moving. I never seen a groomer treat dogs like that. After that she gave us so much bad attitude that we decided to just walk out. Again I do not recommend this Petco of Wellington. Horrible customer service. What a wonderful staff at this location. Everyone is beyond helpful always going out of their way to make sure we get everything we need. And honest about their products. Saying what works and what doesn't truly work. Seeing all the older post I have to say that the negative people they refer I haven't seen there, so I guess they cut the fat so to speak.
