Lincoln park Mexican fast comfort food of tacos and burritos open late night for your convenience Food: Tacos, Burritos with your classic Mexican cuts of meat. One unique style is gyro burrito, a nice fusion of Middle eastern + Mexican. Good quality of meat and veggies. Love the Agua de Horchata (rice milk drink). Service: Fast, respectful, efficient Ambience: Small place for fast food for take out or quick dine in (when option available)

Showed this to the staff and they had no idea what I was talking about. They told me I had to redeem online. Well, you can't do that and got the run around. I ordered anyways and it was the worst burrito I've ever had! Don't know the offer or redeem online. Which is it?

Great place for pickup or delivery, especially since it's open late late (or early depending on your lifestyle). Cashiers and staff are all super friendly. The prices are really cheap for huge portions, especially for the plate options. They have a pretty small menu but the portions are heaping. Interior is very simple but is simple and clean. The meat tastes well flavored and isn't overly oily like some other similar Mexican places. Burritos are very large. You can ask for squeeze bottles of hot sauce which are delicious. Have gotten delivery here and it's always come quickly and order right. Like that you can get 5am delivery from here.

Bland and pricey. I had the taco dinner plate with two steak and an al pastor. The meats were underseasoned and lacked caramelization. The rice was subpar too, drier than Taco Bell. I thought this place was authentic, but you know a Mexican place is bad when Taco Bell serves better food than them.

Tonight we ordered two chicken burritos for pick up through Uber eats. These were the worst chicken burritos I've ever had in my entire life. I literally wanted to throw it in the trash after the first bite. The chicken tasted like canned chicken, also there's some weird type of refried/pork and beans flavor going on. At times I thought I was tasting like a weird SpaghettiOs type of flavor as well, just downright atrocious and nasty. My fiancé was very disgusted and he's not even a picky eater. I ended up throwing up my food within 30 minutes of eating and feel like complete crap. The tortilla was warm, but all the filling inside was cold. Don't order these!!!

I love this corner, neighborhood burrito spot in Lincoln Park. Jaimito's Burritos offers a simple and affordable menu with friendly, quick service. The meat is always well seasoned and it's nice that the sour cream isn't an extra charge like at some other places. Believe it or not I actually eat here sober during the day, but I know they have many fans for their late night hours and delivery. The burritos are quite sizable and I always leave stuffed and satisfied every time. You can't go wrong with anything here because their menu of bowls, burritos, and tacos is so simple you really can't mess it up. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for late night Mexican food under $10, make a visit to Jaimito's.

We stood at the door for about 20 minutes before someone finally told us the wait would be 1-2 hours. Keep in mind, the place is pretty small and already crowded, so there's barely any room to stand while you wait. After getting on the waitlist, we decided to go to a nearby spot for food--but not even 5 minutes later, we got called back saying our table was ready. When we returned, we were seated along the wall in a very tight space--so tight that if I stretched my arm out, I would've hit the person next to me. We noticed a large table nearby had been sitting for a while without food. When their food finally came out, it made us realize our wait would probably be even longer. After another 20 minutes passed and we still hadn't been able to order, we decided to leave. I'm not sure the space is fully ready for the rush right now--it feels overcrowded and service is slow. I'll give it another try once the hype dies down. I'm happy for their success, though--just be prepared to be patient when you go.

Starting with margaritas (because obviously ‍), queso and chips that were dangerously good, and the chicken empanadas that came out perfectly crispy with so much flavor. We kept looking at each other after every bite like "okay wait... THIS is the best thing here" and then another plate would arrive and prove us wrong again The carnitas fried rice??? I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it. So savory, flavorful, comforting, and packed with crispy carnitas on top with the eggs and pickled onions... literally unreal. And then the skirt steak tacos absolutely stole the show. The steak was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and paired so perfectly with all the toppings and sauces. Every single bite tasted fresh and homemade in the best way possible. And can we talk about the ambience for a second because WOW. The music, the energy, the vibe inside, everyone celebrating, the drinks flowing -- it felt like the perfect Cinco de Mayo dinner spot. The service was also AMAZING from start to finish and made the entire experience even better. One of those dinners where you leave already talking about when you're coming back If you're looking for the place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, date night, tacos & margaritas, or honestly just an incredible dinner in general... this is IT

The drinks were better than the food. I ordered the chicken nachos. I expected the cheese to be melted liquid cheese. It was a very small portion of barely melted mozarella cheese. So. The atmosphere is easily for dates, friend outings, after work outings etc. The restaurant decor is nice. It puts you in the mind of a European garden. There is no parking but a garage across the street along with metered Street parking. Beware parking cost $46 for about 2.5 hrs. The food bill was $141, way too expensive for tacos and a few margaritas. I will pass on this place.

Appetizers were quac and chips, and shrimp ceviche. The guac was really good, but the ceviche was the star. Served on a bed of cucumbers, it was visually beautiful, and the flavor was fresh and complex. There was also a LOT of it. We ended up taking some home. Entrees were steak and shrimp for me, and Tampiquena for my friend. In both dishes, the steak was done to perfection. The sauce that came with my shrimp was spicy and deep--lots of flavor layers there. Both of us took home portions of our meals because there was a lot of food on the plates. Finally, the service--the servers are attentive without hovering. If we needed something, they were there, but never intrusive. It is hard to believe this is a little neighborhood spot, given the service and the quality of the food. It was not too busy tonight--we ate early--but I recommend reservations. It is very popular with the neighborhood. Bottom line, we each had 2 margaritas, appetizers, and entrees, and our bills with tip were around $105.00 each--totally worth it!
