He called us back promptly within the hour. But my husband couldn't understand him over the phone, so I took the call. He said everything looked good except there was only one quart of transmission fluid. Because I know next to nothing about cars I agreed to him "changing the transmission fluid" for $120. When I relayed this to my husband he said "there is no way that van could shift gears on one quart of transmission fluid, I just changed the fluid six months ago and checked it last week, its fine". So I called back but couldn't communicate to him that we wanted him to do nothing. So by the time we got there he had already drained the fluid out and we were required to pay for him to install new fluid. My husband is entirely confident he drained the fluid just to have something to charge us for. Then came time for payment. With no warning: Cash only. Well, who carries $120 in cash? So he called some sort of service and took my card payment over the phone, which seemed to be a legitimate exchange but who knows. And so we left with a still wobbly car having wasted several hours and given $120 to a swindler. Never to return again.

Juan is a straight shooter and has provided consistently good products and services at REALLY AMAZING prices. Last week I texted him about availability, and drove up to the shop the next day (a Friday) about 8:30 am. He showed me what he had available and he honored the price he had quoted me via text the day before. Within an hour, I was back on the road with a set of new Bridgestones, mounted and balanced, for $500 (total). I was impressed that he finished the installation using a hand torque wrench on all of my lug nuts to make sure they were properly tightened. Check out the photo of my 2000 with the new JC Wheels and Caps wheels and tires - UNDER a grand for everything. Sweet.

Drove and saw him for a free estimate which he got to me that evening. I asked him when I was at his shop doing the estimate about how long he thought it would take. He said a week or less. I told him I wanted to be in San Antonio on the following Wednesday. He informed me he would have space for me the next day, Thursday. I checked the estimate and brought the car back to him on Thursday after work. Matt was waiting for me. He was communicative, prompt, affable, funny and smart. I could tell from the minute I started talking with him I liked him. On his day off, Sunday, he called me and told me that he thought he could definitely make that happen and he did. Mind you he just had a baby girl so sleep was abviously an issue. He delivered and he delivered more than what he assured me that he would do and promised that he would do. The work that I received coupled with the transparency and honesty that he gave me regarding what I thought was possibly a bent axle or hub which was actually only a control arm which he diagnosed replaced and fixed when he could have told me it was more. Fixing the wheel and then color matching my very detailed Pearl paint. Wow! When I was picking up my car, I walked into his office and told him it looked better than when I bought it. Matt told me he does things like he would do them for himself. I'm the same way and respected the hell out of that. I went to fill up my car and realized he had not cut any corners when I noticed the inside of my fuel well door had been painted with the same care as the visible parts. This is a small business owner with ethics and quality of service that I strongly recommend.

They abandoned this project on my car leaving it with major flaws (promised to be corrected but never did), damages, obvious choppy cuts and worst of all mismatches of color that is entirely noticeable. When I reached out to the team (on several occasions) they either lied about ordering more wrap to correct their mishaps or now, just simply have not responded and left me to seek out legal guidance on reporting the business to protect future consumers from unfair and negligent business practices, obtaining representation, grief from loss of income and embarrassment, and the list goes on. There's several items of concern with this company that are going to be addressed. More to come soon. My advice, do not trust this company to value your vehicle, time, or money spent. They do not take accountability or responsibility when there are documented communications exchanged and they surely do not offer high quality services as they claim.
