What a hidden gem. The coffee was amazing, almond joy latte. I also left with ice hibiscus tea so good. Friend got Irish coffee, she was impressed! The service amazing. The place had the best vibe. The decor was adorable with a badass kick. The cups so cute pink with heart stopper , to close off coffee. Will be back.

Jaho has great hours, is super convenient, and its food and drink selection makes sense at any hour. The staff is super friendly and considerate. Honestly most coffee shops wouldn't catch my attention, but I had consistently positive experiences here, so I wanted to ensure I gave a little credit to a gem that might be overlooked since it's off the main strip.

Still love it here. Impromptu visit for quick light bite. Only 3 in the Salem Canal St location. New Year's Day only 3 in whole place. Note you should order before you enter. We forgot so used kiosk but often there's a line. This location serves Salem State and no kids today.

We love this spot and we make sure to get coffee here whenever we are on the wharf. It's always busy, but you can avoid some of the crowd by using their digital order kiosks or ordering ahead, which makes things so much easier. Their seasonal Linzer Tart latte was delicious, with a great raspberry shortbread flavor, but my favorite is the iced Kulfi latte ($8) --it's perfectly sweet and creamy. It's a nice blend of espresso, cold foam, pistachio, cardamom, condensed milk and rose petals. It's almost more of a dessert than a coffee. The salmon bagel ($13) is also a solid choice if you're looking for a bite to eat. With both indoor and outdoor seating, you can make it whatever sort of vibe you want. We try to sit outside, but usually end up just taking it to go while we walk.

Good vibe and fast service. It's conveniently located by the harbour. It seemed unusual for me to see a coffee/Boba place in Salem. But I guess most tourist areas are selling Boba's now. They have a good range of hot and cold food. The food and drinks are a fusion of Italian, Spanish, Chinese/Japanese, and American. The snacks and cakes are presented with such care that it makes you want to try all of them. We opted for Chai Latte, Mango smoothie, and a Tiramisu Cake Cup. We all came out of the shop happy and satisfied.

Jaho is a staple in Salem for coffees, pastries, and fun drinks. We often pop in for a treat! I am also excited to see that Jaho is on the Too Good To Go app - I got a pretty good haul from them recently (check the app out if you haven't yet!). I do feel that some of their products are a bit on the pricier side, but often they are worth it. Their bagels are stand out in the area - especially the one with the jalapeños and cheese. Make sure to grab one when you are in the area!

the drinks, while fun, are verrrryyyyyy sweet. I got the kulfi latte half as sweet as it normally comes and I still couldn't finish it. it was delicious, but wow. the breakfast sandwiches were good, nothing bad about them and also nothing super special. also got a blueberry yogurt parfait. 2 drinks 2 sandwiches and the parfait came to $45 which felt like a lot. overall, a fun trendy coffee place. I'm not mad I went but also probably wouldn't go again.

We had iced kataifi lattes and loved them! Cute cups and fast, helpful service! Can't wait to get back to one of their many locations.

Loved their frozen drinks. The coffee jelly was a first try for me and it was pretty great, like boba cubes I guess? Apple cider donut was great. Service was fast for a quick stop on Halloween morning. Lovely area by the wharf.

Stopped in to get a coffee and a bobe tea and overall it was just okay. Way overpriced for what you get and the service isn't that great. The tea we got was really good but we had to wait forever and it was $9. Not worth a stop.

Love Jaho coffee!!! It gets pretty busy, so the wait may be a bit longer than other places, but it is well worth it. This coffee is strong, all while still being sweet and creamy. It was really, really good. I want one every morning. (If only they would go over 2,500 miles to the west!) Also. Their donuts are pretty good. Their cups are so cute!! I want one of their iced coffee cups in reusable plastic stat! The outside sitting area is nice and relaxing, a good spot watch the streets of salem.

April 17, 2026 I…read morewent with my parents tonight to the Adriatic Restaurant (Washington Street), Salem, MA. We've started having dinner out twice a month and this was the most recent experience. I had gone online to the NORTH SHORE DINNING PAGE on Facebook and asked people about their experiences with the restaurant in the last two days and here's what people said: "great, tender meatballs", "great eggplant parmigiana", "very good experience". .... And what we found out is that they were right. Those things were all true! Now.... As to what we ordered: I got the grilled octopus. It was the only partial miss on the menu. Arugula just doesn't make a very good sauce and it was a pretty bad base for what would otherwise might have been a great appetizer. My mother got the Caesar salad. It was good. It's a hard thing to screw up. My father ordered the meatballs. They were amazing and delicious - just like Facebook promised. The tzatziki sauce was good. Maybe not as good as mine, but good nonetheless. So dinner.... Mine was the Chicken Saltimboca. It was so good that I'd bathe in the sauce they make with it. I loved eating forkfuls of the chicken with bites of the mashed potatoes. That was really luxuriant. My mother had the Eggplant parmigiana and she wiped out the entire plate. She loved it. My father.... Beef tenderloin tips. Maybe cooked slightly too much, but delicious. He wiped out the plate. To drink.... I was out of the hospital and recovering from brain tumor surgery, so I had the hard cider (3.5% BV), my father had the Peroni (Italian) beer, and my mother had the Bud light. I tasted the Peroni and liked it very much. The hard cider had almost no sweetness to it. It was dry as a higher end brut champagne.... Which actually set off the meal really nicely. My tastes weren't clashing and that was good. Our waiter, Sean, was great. Ask for him! We left a $32 tip, so the bill came to $197.85

I had a delicious espresso martini and for apps I tried the arancini and picked off my sister's caesar salad. They were both alright, but the caesar could've used more dressing and I didn't love the flavor of the arancini - just a bit bland. For my entree I had the shrimp scampi. This also really lacked flavor, and I was yearning for more tomatoes. The service was great and our waitress Leanna was attentive and super sweet. They had clean bathrooms and ample parking out front and around the block. However, the food wasn't memorable, and I don't think I'll go out of my way to return.

Nothing more annoying than a review that starts with "I'm from Texas/California and I know Mexican…read morefood" blah blah blah shut your trap. No one cares. But guess what? I'm from LA and also spent most of my life in NYC and I know what good Mexican food tastes like.... And guess what?! Howling Wolf might be the best Mexican food on the east coast. Sure, it's a little pricey ($19 for a burrito?! Really?) but I didn't eat in the restaurant so I can't speak to the level of service or detail that comes with that price. I did take out. I f***g hate take out but we were passing through Salem and it was cold and the gf didn't want to eat out. This is really amazing Mexican food. I got the steak tip burrito. 9.5 out of 10. Gf got quesadilla (with carne asada) and I noticed another diner said it was soggy. I disagree. But JUST order the steak tips. Next level. Absolutely loved it. Salsa - very acidic but delish. They also gave us enough for two meals. Guac, solid. Needed salt - but that's not a crime. Only criticism- no one greeted me when I came in. I worked in the food biz and I believe staff should acknowledge you exist within seconds if they aren't greeting/seating you. I waited for a bit and finally someone figured it out. But ya know what - who cares about that when the burrito is this good - best $19 ever spent. Howling wolf - congrats. You've done the impossible. You made good Mexican food in the North Shore and converted a food snob into a believer. Wolf people, I love you. I will howl at the moon and sing your praises forever. Keep doing gods work.

Wonderul dining experience, food and service! Located in the Downtown area of Marblehead. Upscale…read morerestaurant with linens, etc. We chose to dress up based on reviews but seriously most patrons were not even casually dressed as some wore sweatpants and/or sweatshirts, and this was Saturday for dinner! I think anything goes but would suggest at least nicer jeans. Since this was our travel day; I wanted a nicer place that we could eat light or heavy. 5 Corners Kitchen jumped out as it has inhouse made pastas (and usually several pasta dishes to choose from). Inhouse made pasta is more common on the East Coast (scarse where we live on the West Coast). I made a reservation in advance (week before) and glad I did. Guessing reservations required! We arrived for our 5pm reservation right when they opened. There was a line outside but when they unlocked the doors (reminded me of a scene from The Bear) most immediately went to the bar to eat and drink. Most tables are set for two people with a few for larger parties (6-8 people). Date night type place with more table turns. At 5pm, there were very few diners but by 515pm the place was packed and remained that way with other parties coming in (the pictures show before others arrived). Interior is very modern yet cozy. Great vibes. Lots of fun lights and accents all around. Tables for two are small but our food arrival and eating was just the right pace. I noticed the table next to us was having difficulty with space (but not other tables). They ordered several appetizers (vs entrees) and wanted them at once. The server was great in asking when we wanted our courses as the order goes in all at once, the kitchen just needs to know when. The food was outstanding! We are Foodies so we know and seek out grrat food! Because we traveled all night and day, we weren't too hungry, so we skipped on an appetizer. They have great options and we wished we had more space but decided we were going to have dessert instead! Very nice selection of wines by the glass and/or bottle along with many beers including a few BA beers, and.a full bar for what looks like very creative cocktails! My husband ordered an NA Ale and pleased with his selection. I ordered Camille tea! The food! We started with slitting a wedge salad and sure glad we split it! Just one-half was plenty big! The heirloom cherry tomatoes were excellent, the dressing great, and the inhouse bacon pieces were OMG so good! A meal in itself! For entrees, I ordered the Mushroom Rigitoncini. Lots of different types of mushrooms along with Black Truffle. The sauce was absolutely amazing! The homemade pasta, excellent and done just right! It had Arugula for the herb (vs Basil) that gave it a nice accent flavor. Excellent choice! My husband ordered the Salmon dish, served over a warm salad with a nice light vinaigrette! Fresh fish and excellent dish. Small menu with ten entrees plus a special.to select from, but honestly hard to choose and they all are so tempting. Hoping to be able to return while we are still.here this week! For desert we ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Again,.so hard to choose but their Gelato is inhouse made and this one came with a scoop of Vanilla Gelato, like ordering two desserts! We barely had room but enjoyed every bite! Excellent restaurant! Service was wonderful and our Server, Declan, was exceptional. Very attentive. Other staff helped to clear plates (necessary with small tables), bring dishes, refill water glasses, etc. All were very friendly and helpful.
