After posting this review the manager called me and he was very polite and after explaining to him everything he sent me a full refund of the tires via ups. I was very impressed by how he handled the situation. Thank you Brent

The sales experience was a bit choppy, but I was able to get a hold of someone from the start. The car I purchased had been a dealer loaner and only had 15k miles on it, so I figured "what could possibly go wrong?" I asked if there were any damages to the vehicle and was told there was not. It took quite a while before the vehicle had been "reconditioned," but the photos I received seemed like everything was in order, so I purchased the car from Jaguar Marin and had it shipped to me in SoCal. That's where the trouble started. I did not notice at the time, but three of the panels had been removed to repaint a quarter panel, which was damaged in some kind of accident. This accident, whether it be a parking lot ding or a side impact, had been repaired but was not on Carfax. When the technicians removed the rocker moldings, they broke the retaining clips. Instead of using Jaguar parts (which, you'd think, a Jaguar dealer should have access to?), they glued the body panels back on. The body shop I used was the same that Jaguar uses in my city, so it's a Jaguar dealership saying this; not a Joe Blow mechanic. This wouldn't be a huge problem, except one of them was the molding for the moon roof. i.e.: water can leak in while this thing is popped up/bowed out. I brought this to the attention of Jaguar, and that it would take almost $2,000 to repair. I haven't heard anything in two weeks and they refuse to take calls or reply to emails. The only reply I got was that I "signed the bill of lading." i.e.: "not our problem!" Very disappointed that I have to take a luxury car dealership to court over fraudulent sales practices. I now have repairs on a "Certified" vehicle to make, which devalues the entire meaning of that term, in my eyes.

I came in with a genuine interest in the brand, a realistic budget, and a genuine intention to purchase a vehicle if I found the right fit. I was not there for a joyride or simply to pass the time. From the moment I walked in, it was difficult to get anyone's attention. Once I was able to speak with a salesperson, I never felt like I was being engaged as a serious customer. As a younger buyer, I got the impression that assumptions were being made about why I was there before anyone had taken the time to ask. The most frustrating part was the feeling that I had to prove myself before I could have a serious conversation about purchasing a car. Rather than being treated as a potential customer from the start, I felt like I first had to convince the salesperson that I belonged there and that my interest was genuine. I wasn't even looking for a test drive, yet several comments gave me the impression that I was being viewed as someone looking for a free test drive rather than someone interested in learning about the cars. At one point, a comment was made that came across as suggesting that if I wasn't prepared to purchase a vehicle, I shouldn't be wasting the dealership's time. Whether that was the intended meaning or not, that was how it was received. One interaction in particular stood out to me. After we had spent time discussing my budget, the types of cars I was interested in, and my purchasing criteria, the salesperson told me that he wanted to "look me in the eyes" and determine my character before talking numbers. Whether that was intended to build rapport or not, it came across as though I was being evaluated rather than helped. I had come to learn about the cars and explore a potential purchase, so the comment left me feeling as though I needed to prove myself before I could be taken seriously as a customer. I also felt that very little effort was made to engage me in a discussion about the vehicles themselves. During parts of the walkthrough, inventory was being scrolled through with little explanation, and I found myself having to stop and ask about specific cars because information wasn't being volunteered. I walked into a Porsche dealership wanting to learn about Porsches and left knowing almost nothing more than when I arrived. None of the individual interactions were dramatic on their own. The issue was the cumulative effect of the comments, the assumptions, and the overall tone of the experience. I walked in excited to learn more about the Porsche brand and left feeling like I had to earn the right to be taken seriously. The cars themselves were fantastic. Unfortunately, the customer experience did not match the enthusiasm I had walking into the dealership.

Kyle was knowledgeable, detail oriented, and paid attention to what my needs were. My purchase was handled almost completely online as I lived 300 miles away. Very low pressure sales approach, and the same for Michael. He (Michael) 'got' what I was looking for in the car and my purchase experience with Marin Luxury Cars, and made sure the service techs prepped the car perfectly before it was shipped to where I live. I did my research before engaging this dealership in the first place, and I know concretely I received a fair price for what I was after. If you need a similar experience for a JLR product in NorCal, this is the place to go. I'm convinced this is how they treat everyone, and not just a one-off experience where I got lucky.

My recent experience…read morepurchasing a 2025 CPO Acura RDX (black on black base model) was nothing short of phenomenal, entirely thanks to Christine Brown and Jean-Pierre Kabbara. Christine was incredibly personable and easy to relate to right from the start. Our test drive felt more like catching up with a friend than a typical dealership experience. We spent the time talking about our lives, sharing career experiences, and discussing great approaches to living. With her background in engineering and mine in IT, we immediately found a lot of common ground. We ended our time with a genuinely fond farewell and a warm invitation to return. Behind the scenes, Jean-Pierre completely bent over backwards to make this deal happen. I was looking for a very specific car that wasn't even on their lot or listed on their website. Not only did he manage to track down the exact model I asked for, but he also secured the absolute best price for it. When it came time for the paperwork, he made sure I was in and out quickly while ensuring I had a full, transparent understanding of exactly what I was paying for. Not many people can pull all of that off so seamlessly. Acura of Marin delivers outstanding performance, and Christine and Jean-Pierre are just all-around great people. I already know exactly where I am going when it's time to buy the real car of my dreams: a brand new, fully loaded black on black Acura Integra Type S. It won't be cheap, but I know it will be super fun to do business with them again. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, we were not treated with respect or taken seriously. When we asked whether our budget could get us something flashy and visually impressive, the salesperson responded, "You know the answer to that yourself," which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Later, in another part of the dealership, I asked another employee two questions and was completely ignored. When we explained that we were looking for a vehicle to use for marketing purposes for our company, the response was, "Why are you telling me that?" We were also told that no one in sales was available, which I understand can happen, but the overall attitude and lack of basic courtesy were unacceptable. My colleague and I may look young, but we operate a real estate firm managing approximately $2.5 billion in assets. Regardless of someone's age, appearance, race, or perceived status, every customer should be treated with the same level of respect. We ended up driving to Ferrari Silicon Valley/Redwood City and had a completely different experience. The team there was respectful, professional, and attentive, and we are now in the process of closing a deal on two vehicles. I would not recommend spending your money at a dealership where customers are judged or dismissed before anyone even takes the time to understand who they are or what they are looking for.
