COME HERE AND HAVE YOUR CAR BROKEN AND GET OVERCHARGED I took my car in for an alignment, they charged me $220, which alone is steep, but on top of this, they snapped one of the top suspension bolts, and told me to contact the manufacturer for a warranty. The manufacturer would not issue a warranty, because the bolt was over tightened. I went back and asked for a refund (spoke with the owner) and even though he admitted to breaking my car, and he said that he understood my frustration, he refused to give me a refund, or any sort of compensation. It is a shame for this local business that was once trusted to be scamming its customers. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

They immediately took the car and had the flat repaired and back on the car (and the Jack et al neatly stowed again) within 90 minutes. Super nice and gracious. I've always used Tire Rack to purchase my tires and as I was looking for a highly recommended installer, I contacted Malugani's who were top rated on TR. I wish I knew the sales person's name who I spoke to, but when I mentioned I was going through TR, he said let me see if we can meet that price. Well not only did he meet the price but he got the tires in the next day! TR couldn't ship for a few days so I was able to bring my truck in the next day for replacement. I have a Tacoma TRD Pro which I'm very particular about and they took very good care of the install. The other day I was washing my truck and I noticed that when they balanced the wheels, they used black weights to match the color of my wheels! That's attention to detail! My wife and I had a flat tire last Friday while visiting our grandchildren. Fortunately we were very close to a gas station where we were able to inflate the tire. We Googled tire centers in Mill Valley and came across Malugani's that had the highest reviews and it was only about a mile away. When we pulled in we were greeted by one of the techs there who immediately noticed a nail in the tire. We left our car there and was told it would be ready in about an hour. We walked around the neighborhood for about 45 minutes when we received a text that the car was ready. As we walked back I asked my wife what she thought the charge would be to fix the tire as we never asked when we dropped off the car. We both expected the cost to be around $125-$150 and were pleasantly surprised when the cost was only $65. When does that happen? Anyway. Malugani's was great in changing my run flats to regular AS tires. A lot of places would try to upswell me to keep run flats, but they respected that I wanted to switch. I've been meaning to switch to them for tires and breaks for a while because they are such good supporters of Mill Valley (Little league, etc.), and I'm really glad I now have. It costs a little more than the chain tire store I used to go to, but it is well worth it. Tesla service would not repair the tire despite the fact that the damage to the tire was clearly in the tread and no where near the edge of the tire let alone the sidewalk. Saw the great reviews so I called and booked an appointment to get my brakes checked/repaired. They called with the estimate.... Front brake pads, rotors, and flush -843.18 Oil change w/ cabin filter changed - 150.58 I politely declined, as I called around and got other prices. I went to pick up the truck and pay for the inspection, which states 65.00 and the minimum for anything there is 65.00. When I gave them my card the gentleman said it was 75.00, to which I asked about the sign posted 65.00. He said kids must have been playing with it. Those Marin kids are super smart, changing the prices on both signs from $75, to $65. Free donuts on Friday though. Well, not technically free, cost me ten bucks. Save the ten bucks, go get a pastry at Flour Craft. Less tricky Marin kids there. read more
