My husband and I have used this location for several years now. We never have any issues. They clean my husband's slacks, shirts and also some of my dresses. We also take our comforters to them every couple months. Saves us time and the staff is always so kind! read more

Actually deserves ZERO stars! They treated my husband horribly! We are out of towners visiting friends and were invited to one of the Mardi Gras Balls. He was recommended by our friends to get fitted for a tux rental. They refused service to him because of his out of state drivers license. He offered an obscene amount of money cash deposit to show his good faith or take his credit card info and was told "no". They said he needed someone with an Alabama drivers license to 'co-sign' for him. Seriously?? He then asked, "what if a military member with an out of state DL who was stationed in AL needed to rent for an event or wedding?. The owner/manager told him that they would require a letter from their Commanding Officer stating need and to claim responsibility. Yeah, like our military commanders don't have enough on their plates to do. It's unfortunate the way this business handles out of town guests and tourism. Will be contacting the Chamber of Commerce. If you are 'not from here, you're not welcome here". read more

Tell your employee working the counter to not beg people to give her money, nor make them feel bad when they don't have any to give. When you go to pick up your dry cleaning, that should be an easy thing to walk in and do, but not here. read more

It was something so simple that they could have handled and saved my business but they really could careless for some reason. After having to drive over to mobile from Jay Florida I can assure you my son will rent his tux elsewhere next year. Drove an hour and a half to be told we needed an Alabama license so we were lucky to have friends still in mobile. Then my son went back with one of his fraternity brothers who is over 21 to be told you had to be over 24. Had I of seen the negative reviews first I wouldn't have bothered. You are in a college town with kids from other states needing tuxes for fraternity events and this is the most horrible policy ever! Won't ever be back and for sure won't recommend EVER! read more

I have been a loyal customer for almost 15 years, but over the past year, the service has really been lacking. The first negative event occurred when they updated the computer system. I had been a charge account customer for many years and always kept my balance paid on time. My account was deleted in the update - strike 1. Since then I had to pay each time I picked up my dry cleaning. Its not that big of a deal, but a strike anyway. Then they refused a $40 claim I had on damages to a brand new, never worn shirt - strike 2. The process of that orderal was horrible, very impersonal and showed a total lack of concern for my business. Had they been able to see my account history, perhaps the outcome of the claim would have been different. Anyway, I am not allowing a strike 3. Wish there was an option for zero stars! This place is a joke! Customer service is horrible! and the ownership is where it starts! Dropped a tux off a week before I needed it and when I go back to pick it up its at a different location. Guess no one noticed till I needed it. Now I'm left to drive across town and spend time I don't have because "that's my only choice". I wont mind going out of my way next time I need a cleaners service. Friendly staff and quick service, no problems with any of the items I rented which was two times so far, not sure what happened with those who have made reviews before me, as I would definitely be going back and recommend to anyone who is looking to rent a Tuxedo. If i could rate a zero i would...worst service ive ever had..staff is not helpful at all and they obviously dont care...i will definitely be letting everyone i know not to go there....we called and asked what was the requirements to rent tails for mardi gras...they said no appointments to be there by 6:30 and pick them up the day of the ball...and thats all they said....so i get off work and drive all the way there...mind you i live in gulf shores...and was going there because they are cheaper then everyone else and now i see why...i get there and they say they need my driver license...which i dont have at the moment...but i gave them my picture identification that came from the same office license do and issued by the same people...they said they cant take a photo i.d that has my picture on it...which i can do anything else using my photo i.d issued by the state of Alabama including cash checks...buy alcohol...get in a bar or anything that requires an id...besides drive...then they ask if i could go get somebody with license....so they will rent to me under anybody elses deiver license but not to me with my photo i.d...really that makes perfect sense to me...let me rent under somebody elses name...so i left because not am i only pissed but seems kinda shady the way they running things...i get home and my fiance ask howed it go...i gave her the rundown so she calls and ask why they couldn't take a state issued non-drivers photo i.d and he proceeded to tell her that he has a license and don't understand why i dont...first all last time i checked my personal issues is none of thier business...im not sure if thier formals come with a car or not but dont see what the difference should be in this situation as long as i have a legitimate identification...but oh well i definitely will take my business elsewhere and so will everyone else in the Mardi gras organization...seems like a little discrimination to me. read more

THE BEST place to rent Mardi Gras tails / tuxedos and you won't pay an arm and a leg like other stores!

This business is terrible. Not only did I receive poor customer service, but they failed to inform me over the phone, OR on their website that in order to rent formal wear you must have an AL drivers license. After I was told this in the store along with the supposed "helpful" information that I could get some one else with said license to rent with me, I went to get a local friend. We returned, waited while store employees talked only to be further informed that to rent for someone else you must be 25 or older. This was all for upcoming Mardi Gras ball, which require you to be 21 + to attend. In short - a wasted afternoon with two trips back and forth to the store, yielding no rental. read more

Who cares if they are cheap, they are rude!!! The customer service is awful! The employees are rude. Especially one in particular at the Airport blvd store that thinks she can talk to people however she likes and embarrass them in front of a store full of other customers. I believe that everyone there got a taste of how Jaguar lets their employees talk to people. Next year I will gladly pay $80 to $100 to rent a tux else where. Never again will we use Jaguar. I placed a pair of Winter White pants in the Jaguar cleaners on Cottage Hill Rd., after going there for years with no problems. The pants had some stains along the hemline as to be expected with Winter white. I picked up the pants and there were stains along the lower leg as if the pants had been smeared with something. When I identified the stains the attendant sent the pants back for a redo. Two redos later I requested to be compensated because the stains went from black to blue to pink. I filed a claim and waited three weeks only to be told my pants were cleaned. At this point I am upset because I want to know why did it take 3 attempts and why did no one inspect the pants before delivery to me. I go in and there is a nasty note from the owner stating the stains were from food, I explained who eats on their outer lower leg and if the stains had been present I would have identified it to be clean upon 1st visit. The owner's wife apologizes and then tell me the owner is color blind, why would someone color blind make such a call with such confidence. She apologized and offered to redo the pants again 4th time. It worked however, I did not appreciate the funky note from the owner and all of the repeated attempts, when it could have been resolved the 1st or 2nd time. I've only used them a few times out of necessity due to the convenience of their location. Each time I received very poor customer service, but nothing went "wrong," until this last time. When I went to pick up my items, one was missing, which I needed for the next day. The young girl there told me that she thought it was at another location, but there are no managers or supervisors. I called the other location, and the young girl there told me they didn't have it, and confirmed there were no managers or supervisors. Between these two girls, it was communicated to me that none of their employees can do anything but take your money and items, and give your items back to you. I left my contact information with both of these girls (which they already had in their computer), and told them to let me know when my item was found. Over a week passed, and I heard nothing, so I went to their website, and filled out their contact form with everything I've said so far here, asking them to please contact me and let me know if they'd found my item. Another week passed, and I called, and spoke to another young girl, who told me that my item was there, and confirmed that employees can only take your money and items, and give your items back to you, and that there are no supervisors or managers. When I asked who I should complain to, she said "the accountant," which sounded strange to me. She forwarded me to the accountant, who did not identify herself, but after I asked her she confirmed that she was "the accountant," and that there are no supervisors or managers, indicating to me that there is only an owner (who was unavailable when I asked to speak to him), herself, and all of these young girls at their locations. I told her everything I've said so far here, and her response was to ask what I wanted her to do about it, so I quickly ended the conversation. When I went to pick up my item the next day, I was still charged for it, and - despite having my contact information and knowing of my displeasure - the owner has not contacted me in the month since this all took place. read more

Collectively some of the rudest employees I've ever incurred. They gave me the nonsense run around about renting tails with an out of state license and said my girlfriend could sign for me since she has an Alabama license. Then we went to the closer one and they said she has to be 25. Then we went back to the Bel air one and they allowed it. The day of the ball I called to see when to pick my tux up and I didn't have my ticket on me so I asked if they could look up the name. She complied and was very nice. When I was on hold it for some reason just started ringing and someone else answered. I explained what had just occurred and she literally goes "Oh, what do you want" then was extremely rude about having to look up the name rather than by ticket number. AKA she didn't want to DO HER JOB. I'm sure this review won't be counted towards the star rating as the bosses have already removed the negative reviews to the "doesn't count" pile. Horrible company, low quality tux, rude staff. There mission statement should say "Here to make your mardi gras ball experience appear to be easy and delightful but we'll end up making you not want to go on account of you don't want to give us any money". read more
