Size limitations: see my pics of the signs posted. If the bar can't close, you might not be able to ride this one. As I've said before, the crowd was almost shoulder to shoulder on sunday, 10/22/23, Knotts Spooky Farm and trick or treating event, but on monday, 10/23/23, it was much better. Located in Fiesta Village, this roller coaster ride is still family-friendly. It's thrilling enough without being super scary. (I can't handle too tall drops or multiple loops. I refuse to do Hang Time or X-cellerator.) It's a two minute ride and it's fun. It's got some speed to it. This is a popular ride, if the wait time is short, get on it! (The area is wet because it is cleaned daily, but on warm days, the water doesn't dry up. I'm glad that the lights are back on again. The last time we were here, it was so dark! Also, the last time we were here, there was a Science students field trip and lots of line cutting.)

Came to ride this ride, and knew that this right has been around for a long time and that it wasn't too slow so we were able to relax on it. However the weight was really long we ended up waiting almost an hour and for contacts the line was all the way inside and almost coming out the door. Even with this way we decide to weigh which ended up being over an hour long and it was crowded all the way until the right itself. One thing to know is that they have a bunch of fast pass people so the occasionally would take a little longer because they would get the opportunity to get on the road first ahead of the general line. Overall the ride was OK longer than other roller coasters, however not as fast and the brakes for a bit awkward.

It's a beautiful day to ride the Jaguar!

The "Jaguar!" at Knott's Berry Farm is a mild roller coaster, but it is extremely enjoyable for both young and old alike. It's great for folks that like a nice roller coaster, but also would like to enjoy one with their young kids. This ride is accessible to kids above 48 inches tall. It's also a great ride to take if you've just eaten, and don't want to get too aggressive too fast after pounding down a pizza, a churro and a Knott's boysenberry cotton candy. ;-) The Knott's website states that this ride lasts approximately two minutes, and reaches a maximum speed of approximately thirty miles per hour. Its a great way to move relatively fast and get some wind in your hair. It's noticeably more rough than most of the newer rides, since it was completed in 1995 (and does not have a more advanced suspension system), but it's not quite as rough as most older wooden-structured roller coasters. One of my favorite attributes about this ride is the relatively minimal wait time. Who wants to wait in a long line for a short ride?...certainly not me. The Jaguar typically holds up to 30 passengers, since each train has 15 cars that each hold two passengers per car. This ride also operates two trains simultaneously, which allows the ride operators to change all the passengers on one train that is held while the other train is in motion. All this engineering and planning facilitates minimal wait times for the guests seeking a fast thrill without a long wait. Jaguar is classified by Knott's as a "high thrill" ride, a rating of "4" on the Knott's Berry Farm scale. It's not quite as exciting or breathtaking as the Silver Bullet, which is rated as a 5 by Knott's, and reaches a maximum speed of approximately 55 miles per hour. Of course, this should not deter anyone from riding the Jaguar, because this ride is still extremely enjoyable. As far as a yelp rating, I've gotta give the Jaguar 4 stars, since this ride is quite enjoyable and often has a minimal line. I also love that I can enjoy this ride with my young kids, and I get to share a few laughs and screams with them!

See? The ride's official name does indeed have an exclamation point at the end!

DEAF LEOPARD Apparently this jungle cat is hard of hearing (hence the exclamation point in the ride's title?) This Zierer family coaster was actually more fun than I expected. But the thrills are gentle and definitely more aimed at kids & families, though that doesn't mean grown-ups can't enjoy it too! The first of two booster wheel lift hills brings a 30-passenger train to a modest height of 65ft. From there it's a series of mild drops and slightly banked turns over a 2,602ft course. There's a few very odd, long straightaways with no elevation changes that I found baffling. It would've been nice to see some hills in place of these totally awkward flat sections. One of the most notable features is the segment of track that threads the loop on Montezooma's Revenge. When the conditions are right and the timing is *perfect*, a train on MR will make a near-miss with a train on Jaguar!, with one right above the other. That's gotta be something to see. Overall attraction themeing was thorough and the waiting queue (indoors, thankfully) is a very immersive Mayan temple. Paintings, statues, skeleton props, there's a surprising amount of detail you'll encounter even before reaching the station platform. Color scheme is appropriate for the ride. I understand that there used to be a fire effect towards the top of the temple and a 'steam effect' just before the station brakes, but those have since been removed. Unfortunately the cars themselves were the smallest I've EVER been in. Good thing I had a two seat row to myself because my long ass legs barely fit inside the tiny space....and I'm only 6'0". The individual lap bars aren't exactly comfortable, either. Jaguar! is a unique ride that was tailored exclusively for Knotts Berry Farm. Guests will enjoy an excursion that clocks in at exactly 2 minutes long and offers some nice views of the surrounding rides. Definitely worth a stop on your trip to the park. Eric S's KBF coaster ranking : 5th out of 8.

Jaguar ride at knotts. Well I was impressed that this ride was as smoothly as it was. Was nice that my little champ was holding onto dear old dad. It was the wife's idea to get in line. Line was not that long but soon we hit the front of the line that ride seemed so fast lol told my son not to worry ride will be over before I gotta get uuuiuto obj

Pretty fun. Lots of curves/turns, no stomach drop. Some thrill, but not as much as the Sierra Sidewinder.

Jaguar is still scary for me, to be honest lol But it's an "easy" roller coaster for most people.

Riders board ore cars and are taken on a winding semi dark ride through a stylized 19th century gold mine. The ride is located in the Ghost Town section at Knotts Berry Farm. The mountain structure that houses the ride is seven stories tall! It's built with steel and elaborate rock work. During the ride, you pass through the tunnels, caverns, underground lakes, bubbling steam pots, geysers, and even ornate cave formations! One of the most memorable features of the ride is the hole scene set in a large chamber! You'll see dozens of animatronic miners hard at work trying to strike it rich! In 2014, this ride did go through a refurbishment. The renovation included new animatronics, enhanced lighting, sound systems, special effects, and new paint! This is such a great family ride. It's not too scary, but there are some beautiful scenes. It's a slow ride and one of the best rides at Knotts Berry farm!

This ride is a dark ride/set piece ride that takes you back into the mines back in the day. It's Kott's first ride opened in the 1960s so some of the animatronics look a bit haunting/aged, but it's still a fun and neat time all around. It's cool that you can look so deep into caverns, see the inside lakes, pools of water, steam, and stalactites and stalagmites. In the 2010s some updates were made as well, so it's not all entirely aged. There's a cute musical light show in the water pools/cave formation rooms. Later on you also go outside of the cave and see out to the park. I love the little vultures. Nice and slow ride with lots to look at.

Especially hearing that there's a new attraction SKYRIDER that opened mid September 2025, my son came here w 2 of his closet bud to celebrate his bday. They were so excited to ride the Skyrider, it's a zip line across partial of the park. I highly definitely recommend this indoor playground. It's probably the best one in OC. We've gone to a lot the past years. This place has so much for your kids to do. Met the manager Terry and Sally. They are both amazing and friendly. Always there to answer your questions and needs. Our school Mabel Paine had a day of fundraising here also. UA loves to support and gives back to the community. Love a friendly oriented company. What's awesome is they now have a security here that I love since it's open. Security really nice. The indoor playground is pretty clean and well taken care of. Love the mascot Urbie. He's also cool with the kids. We are regulars here and definitely plan to return. They have great yearly membership at a great value. Must check it out!

As soon as I walked in everything was decorated/setup as I had requested. Natalie was on top of it all - she reviewed my food order one last time day of to ensure all was accurate (we communicated food allergies and she made sure the right pizza crusts/ orders were in place - Thank you this truly meant a lot) . She was so sweet and attentive she answered all my questions and executed the party flow perfectly. Andre did an amazing job getting my guests checked it and set with wristbands/socks. Use a credit card to book your room, so you can use their quick check in line. Either way, make sure you take the exact card you use to book for checking in. Before you go, buy the discounted dining deal. You can only buy it in advance, and the food and drinks are pretty pricey, so you will spend $$$. I also suggest attaching your credit card to your wristband for convenience. We really enjoyed the pizza place onsite. We checked in on a Sunday and it was a bit crowded, but we managed to do it all in three hours. The kids loved the bunk bed, and my only complaint about our room is that the tub faucet leaked. The next day, we packed a bag with a change of clothes that we fit into a small locker for $12, and went back into the waterpark for a couple more hours. I recommend packing travel toiletries for a quick shower before leaving. They have plenty of showers, changing rooms, and a swimsuit dryer, but no toiletries in the waterpark bathrooms. Waterpark towels are provided and must be checked out and in or you'll be charged, so don't lose them. There's a water bottle refill station in the waterpark near the bathrooms. We didn't try many of the activities offered except for the arcade that offered packages starting at $35. Lastly, be sure to pay for parking before you leave. That was also $35. All in all, we got a deal on the room but spent more on food, drinks, games, and parking combined. My kids are 5 and 10, and they were able to go on just about everything that was open. One day was plenty of time if you don't plan on doing all of the activities.

The issue is not necessarily that every employee was rude -- the real problem is the completely broken system and lack of communication between departments. We booked THREE rooms for 18 guests for a birthday celebration and simply wanted to reserve and pay for a place where everyone could eat lunch together and celebrate with cake. Something that should have been straightforward became an exhausting process filled with confusion, conflicting information, and endless transfers between departments. The front desk had no idea about the policies of the events department. The front desk also had no clear understanding of pool policies. Every single question required someone to "leave a note" for another department and wait for an email response that never came. No callbacks. No follow-up. No accountability. The most frustrating part was trying to contact the front desk directly. First, you are forced through an AI system. Then you finally reach someone in the "reservation department," who is not even onsite. Despite politely asking multiple times to be transferred directly to the front desk, they refused and insisted they could help. They could not. Instead, they placed me on hold supposedly to ask the front desk themselves -- and after 11 minutes on hold, they never came back. At that point, yes, the reservation department representatives themselves became part of the problem: rude, dismissive, unprofessional, poorly trained, and completely incapable of resolving even simple questions. This company has far too many unnecessary departments that clearly do not communicate or work together. Planning an important family event here became stressful instead of enjoyable. I will never host another birthday event at Great Wolf Lodge again, and I would strongly caution families against wasting their time and money here for important celebrations.
