It is more manageable for the little ones versus the swings at Fiesta Village. Adults are able to hop on as well but be mindful it is still a kids' ride, so the bar may not be able come down where it needs to if you're thicker in the midsection and from what I read on the sign that I took a picture of, the weight limit per rider is max 275 lbs. I saw a good amount of adults that seemed to weigh less than the max but the mid-section was what stopped them. The line here was about 15 minutes for our turn. I think if they had two people working this ride, the line would go much quicker. You cannot unbuckle unless you have something like a pen to poke through the seatbelt. The worker has to go around and push every single one of these themselves. This takes some time. I like that though, so the kids cannot unbuckle without a contraption for safety reasons. I just wish there was a more efficient way of doing it. Overall, Charlie Brown's Kite Flyer, is a great ride at Camp Snoopy. Definitely a fun ride that makes you swing your feet and say "wheeeeee!"

Not too fast. Not very high. We were there 4/18/22. I kind of wish it lasted a little longer. My 7 and 8-year-olds agreed, but they loved that feeling of seated flying. It's a popular ride - for little ones and single adults. Lol. Be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes if it's midday. I wish I had lived closer to Camp Snoopy when I was a wee one. It's really neat and the employees were very friendly and assistive.

I'd never been on it before, but it was a familiar type of ride--a big boat that swivels up and down and side to side. The wait was short, as the boat had decent capacity, and there was no height restriction for children riding with adults. We piled in after maybe ten or fifteen minutes in line, and neither my three-year-old nor my scaredy-cat six-year-old expressed any trepidation. They enjoyed it immensely, while Blanca and I got a little bit nauseous. The ride didn't last long, but by the end, I was more than ready for it to be over. The movement was otherwise fun, though, and I don't think my babies felt queasy at all. I'd recommend Rapid River Run if you're spending the day at Camp Snoopy. Just be prepared for some mild motion sickness.

So, if you have any health issues, this should be a ride you can enjoy. You just ride along (someone else is driving/operating the ride) the various scenes and enjoy seeing all of the Peanuts gang. It is one of the longer rides here. There are some really nice flowers in the beginning and also some other vegetation along the way. It's pretty neat to see, especially, if you are a Peanuts fan. But then again, Camp Snoopy is my FAVORITE part of the Knotts Berry Farm theme park.

Alright, I know what you're thinking "This looks like it belongs at the County Fair or local…read morecarnival. Why waste time standing in line at Knotts Berry Farm just to ride on this?" Well, I have an answer for you; it's carries the ambitious rating of 4 given to High Thrill Attractions, so OF COURSE I had to check it out with two of my favorite munchkins, ages 8 and 12, in tow. Their parents sacrificed joining us for the ride of our lives to stand in line at the Coaster 50's style diner just behind this attraction. Whatever. Their loss. This was actually the boys' idea to stand in line for this ride. They're both over the required 48" in height to ride so they didn't actually need me, other than to raise their enjoyment factor of course. I was willing to stand in line just to humor them, as this ride didn't really look like much at first glance. Then I saw the sign. You know, those warning signs that are stationed around the park at the entrances to those rides that are rated for their thrill factor along with listing a whole bunch of language limiting your right to sue the park if you possess one of their 'high-risk' medical conditions such as back pain, neck pain, heart conditions, pregnancy, or are recovering from recent surgery. Because the first thing I like to do when I'M recovering from major surgery is to go to an amusement park and ride all the most dangerous rides. Just saying; sometimes we just need to thin the herd out a little (TOTALLY KIDDING). The ride is a big circle with seats facing in both directions around the outside. The ride starts spinning around its central axis in a clockwise direction which mean, yes you called it, half the people are going to be spinning forwards and half are going to be spinning backwards. I sat next to the 8 year old at his insistence with the 12 year old facing us. There are signs that state clearly that the larger passenger must be seated on the outside edge of the car, but Lee wanted to sit on the outside and I allowed him to do so. Which lasted until the employee running the ride saw us and straightened us out. It's a good thing, too, because the centrifugal force smashed him into my side as the ride started spinning faster and faster and faster. It felt like he was crushing me and he is just a kid. And, of course, I was one of the LUCKY ones who got to ride backwards the whole way. WOOT WOOT! As the ride continues to rotate, the central axis lifts off the ground - not in a "Hey, now you're going around in a circle high in the air" sort or way but more of a "Now you're spinning like a Tasmanian devil AND going up and down as you go around. Hope you didn't want to keep that lunch down." This creates alternating feelings of weightlessness and crushing downward forces. It's NOT a ride I'd recommend doing right AFTER a large meal, but for us it was just perfect timing. The line wasn't horribly long and the boys' parents were just receiving the food and sitting down at a table when we returned. This ride gets 4 stars for being much more exciting than it looks. The amount of line cutting I saw in the two hours I waited for this one hour wait line was insane. The workers mentioned it over the PA system one time but it still happened a lot. They eventually put a staff member where the majority of the cutters were but there were still others. Not sure how the physics works but several times as you change direction or get ready to loop upside down, there's just enough of a pause to cause that stomach dropping sensation like during an airplane flight when turbulence happens. Again, not for everyone, but once you try it, you might get hooked!! Wait times are usually 45-60 minutes. Unless it's at the tail end of the day, then only 30 minutes. Get ready to laugh, holler, scream or just enjoy the view of the sky as you zip, dash, flip and fly!!!!

Then it takes you up duper high and you have to go back down backwards. It's so scary man lol I've been on this ride one time and it was just scary. I couldn't relax at all! For this ride, we're going back in time to ride Montezooma's Revenge Once you pull down the…read morelapbars, you wait for the operators to shout "clear dispatch" and launch out of the station from 0 to 55 mph. And if you haven't ridden a shuttle loop before, you're going to be caught off guard. Because despite this coaster being over 40 years old, this launch packs a PUNCH! Now granted, it's not Xcelerator good, but it's fun regardless. After that, we hit the vertical loop which is fun, you get some decent laterals. You then hit the spike before rolling back down into the loop. You then roll backwards through the loop which isn't nearly as good backwards. We then speed through the station before hitting the 2nd spike backward. This gives sus ome good hangtime before we stop in the station. Overall Montezooma's Revenge is a fun coaster, it's nothing special, but it's certainly more fun than it looks! Now, even though this ride is pretty average and it certainly hasn't aged as well as other coasters, I would've STRONGLY recommend riding this as it's a rare coaster credit! And I really hope it does reopen at Knotts because this is actually the last Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loop still operating in America and is one of 6 left in the World, as well as being a historical coaster since it's the oldest coaster still operating at Knott's, so without it, Silver Bullet, HangTime GhostRider or Xcelerator might not exist. But sadly, this ride closed in early 2022. Now, the reasoning was that this ride was going to be refurbished into Montezooma the Forbidden Fortress. It was to recieve a new randomized launch sequence and amazing theming. However, it's been in limbo for about 3 years now. Allegedly KumbaK (the company hired to do this project) did a horrific job in the removal process of the ride and they destroyed a lot of things they weren't supposed to. This led the ride to be left in a state of limbo for years and led A LOT of people to think that the project would be canceled and that the ride would be scrapped, resulting in the loss of ANOTHER Schwarzkopf (still pissed about Mindbender at Galaxyland and Scorpion at BGT closing, especially the way BGT handled that situation. But hey, at least they GAVE that ride warning. (COUGH COUGH KINGDA KA)). Thankfully, Knott's did come out and say that the coaster would open in 2025 and that it's not going away, which, THANK YOU! However, it's now 2025 and while work has occurred on the ride since then, we haven't gotten any other updates and the ride is still in pieces (and frankly looks abandoned). So Knott's, can we get an update PLEASE?!?!?! Even a simple, "we're still working with the manufacturer to get the ride open" would be appreciated. And if KumbaK really can't get the job done. PLEASE. GET SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT. DO NOT GIVE UP ON MONTEZOOMA'S REVENGE (Again not very optimistic given how they handled Kingda Ka's closure. Seriously, not giving people a warning that the worlds tallest fastest closure is closing is F*CKING INEXCUSABLE). So please Richard Zimmerman or whoever else is calling the shots. Save Montezooma's Revenge. Sorry for the tangent, I just wanted to get my point across. Assuming the ride reopens, I strongly recommend riding it.
