As a sugar lover myself, I throughly enjoyed the candy bins & boysenberry snacks. Overall, a very fun place to spend the day. I stayed all day & can't wait to return again.

We were scolded and yelled at by the cross-walk employee, Dayanna, earlier today when we arrived to go to Build-A-Bear for my son's first birthday. We were literally just asking where the store was and she wouldn't make eye contact with us and yelled at us for inching forward so she could hear us ask our question. Not a single person within 30 feet of us and we were still behind the cross walk line. Completely inappropriate and unacceptable way to speak to any customer. My wife was speechless over her little power trip. Maybe 20 seconds before this happened we were talking about potentially getting annual passes for the three of us, but I think we'll stick to Disneyland. Marcus, another cross-walk employee, was very apologetic on behalf of Dayanna, and helpful in pointing us in the direction to guest services to speak with management, but we decided to leave after waiting for 15 minutes to speak to somebody. Extremely disappointing.

There's also a petting farm with goats and you can feed some of the animals too. The whole park is definitely doable in one day. Tickets are affordable at around 33 bucks, which covers all attractions in the park except the rock climbing wall and the arcade. Food is pretty typical amusement park pricing, and there's also a Starbucks and ice cream. Parking is free, which is a big plus. They also have picnic tables outside the entrance, and I believe the hand stamp they give you allows for same-day re-entry if you want to step out and come back. Overall it's a fun amusement park for the little ones!

Review #1010 2026-080…read more The Boardwalk Games & Arcade features different interactive games as well as an arcade with the latest & most popular games. The latter was reimagined in 02/2025 as The Factory Floor Arcade to feature a 1920s factory theme with 70 games & virtual reality attractions: Godzilla & Rilex Coaster. Players can redeem their winnings at the redemption counter that's stocked with prizes. The outdoor area is lined with traditional midway carnival games of skill & chance: 3-Point Challenge, Beach Ball Bust, Boardwalk Hoops, Bonkers, Dune Buggy Dash, Gearhead Knock Down, Hang Time Challenge, Hi-Striker, Ring Toss, Strike Out, Surf's Up, The Guessing Game (Knott's operator either guesses age or weight within a specific margin to win a prize), Woodstock's Birdbath (this is a "winner every time" game), etc. Both require additional fees from park admission. We rarely play at the Boardwalk Games & Arcade unless there's a collectible toy that caught our kids' eye. While it's a couple of dollars, it adds up due to the difficulty level, except Woodstock's Birdbath (but its prizes are less desirable), & the frustration of not winning anything after spending a lot of time & money. A $5 plushie might cost $50 after multiple failed attempts... yikes! We limited our kiddos to $20. One of the handful of times my eldest played, H won a Squishmallow at one of the booths on her 1st try! ^_^ Whoohoo! Recommended: If you're pretty skilled or just damn lucky, I'd say go for it!

If you are here and you are absolutely itching to play at an arcade, it's fine for what it is, but the ticket redemptions and the price per play is a big rip off. In addition, they have claw machines that are all set to such a low rate of winning that it's totally not worth it at all. I wouldn't recommend it. If you are really in an arcade mood, there are plenty of spots outside of the theme park that you can go to.

It really leans into a more vintage vibe, considering this place is nearly 60 years old the grounds are immaculate, which is unheard of anywhere near LA. Amazing buildings and hedge arches dot the real turfed landscape. Vintage music plays out of old megaphones. Did I mention the place is massive? The parking lot holds maybe 400 cars, but expect it to be nearly full. It has vintage bumper boats, an arcade and 4 18 hole courses. The kids had a great time, and our party host was wonderful. This review is not about the staff…read more Our party host was friendly, helpful, and did a great job keeping the party running smoothly. My frustration was with the way management handled changes to party packages. I booked and prepaid for my son's birthday party in June (for a July party) during a promotion. Before the party, I even called the party hotline twice to go over the details of my reservation, and at no point was I told that the attraction tiers had changed or that there would be optional upgrades available. When we checked in with seven excited kids ready to play, I was told I would need to pay additional fees as their packages had changed. Mind you, I had already paid the $200 for the party in June. I had to pay $35 for an extra kid because the new package included 5, not 6 kids. In addition, I had to pay an additional $9 per child if I wanted everyone to have access to the attractions they wanted to use. That wasn't the time to be making an unexpected spending decision, and realistically I wasn't going to tell a group of kids that some of them couldn't participate. (I was prepared to pay for one extra kid and an extra pizza). We ended up paying $360 instead of the $260 I had budgeted. To add to the confusion, I also didn't receive the balloons that were included with my party package. After reaching out to management, they explained that the attraction tiers had changed after I booked and clarified how the pricing worked. While I still think the communication leading up to the event could have been much better, I do appreciate that they took the time to respond, acknowledged that the communication wasn't clear, and offered two complimentary Unlimited Play passes and a large pizza as a goodwill gesture. My suggestion to Urban Air would be simple: if party packages change after customers have already booked, proactively notify them before their event. It would avoid confusion, unexpected charges at check-in, and allow parents to make informed decisions before arriving with a group of excited kids. What would be even better is that when you book a package, you are locked into that price and details instead of it changing. I would be really hesitant to book another party here because I wouldn't know what price I would ultimately be paying day of. Overall, the kids had a blast, and we'd likely return to play. I just hope the communication around birthday parties improves, because that's what took away from an otherwise fun celebration.
