Pawel came out and priced it our worst case scenario (as requested) to include the veneer and retaining wall. Once we started and saw the retaining wall was intact, he adjusted the price down accordingly. He communicated with me the entire way, giving his opinion and how it would look if we do it this way or that. He wasn't pushy at all, with the exception of the retaining wall adjustment, the price never changed. I've been in construction and facilities all my career, I had Zero issues with Pawel, never thought he was trying to take advantage of me and now have him redoing my back patio which is pavers.

I contacted Pawel, an owner of J&P, who stated that I must of used salt on my driveway which I do not and Pawel knew the truth that it was a substandard concrete job. I had a concrete testing company look at my driveway and they claimed that the contractor added water or overworked the concrete mix. Ozinga, the cement company, claimed that there was no problem with the mix that was delivered to my home. The crew sent to my home trashed my landscaping. I tried to work with J&P about getting my driveway replaced and sharing in the cost to no avail.

Hired Junior to tuck point two chimneys. He climbed his ladder to the roof and did the job and from…read morewhat I could see from the ground it looked like He did a good job.He told me that he cleaned off the roof of all the old mortar that he scraped out of the brick joints and that the rain would wash any dust. The next day I went around to check my air conditioning condenser and it was full of old mortar inside and out. I had to take apart the condenser to clean it out and clean all around where he brushed all off all of the mortar. A complete mess. I decided that I better take a ladder and check the job he did . When I got on the roof I saw that he didn't use any drop cloths and all the new mortar droppings where stuck to the shingles.The chimney cap was not tuck pointed at all around the chimney stack.After three calls and two texts and Junior telling me that he would be out to fix the problems, he was a no show. I had to get on the roof again myself and fix the cracks around the chimney stack. My advice is to DO NOT HIRE. A complete mess and shoddy work.
