I've been getting pedicures here for over 6 months now and finally decided to do a review…read more The place has a lot of stations and very clean. They always welcome you when you walk in. I never make an appointment and show up at random days/times and never waited more than 10 minutes. I'm very happy with the pedicures. I always get the Milk and Honey pedicure. The service is inconsistent. Some techs are more thorough and careful than others. The service and attention to detail vary per tech. Maybe it's because I'm a walk in and they squeeze me in so I can't complain. I don't get my nails done (I should lol) so can't comment on that. This is my place now and I'm happy with the service, cleanliness, and pricing.

To all of my ladies out there, this review is important. I visited Lux Wax Studio for the first…read moretime today and I am absolutely thrilled. I wish I could give the owner, Ms. Helena a higher rating than just five stars. I had a less than pleasant experience at my last place, so much so that it has been months since my last wax and I almost stopped going altogether. Sometimes women break one another down rather than lift each other up. Ms. Helena is not one of those women. She is warm, welcoming, kind, sweet and lovely in every way. She will treat you like a human being and there is no judgement here. If you are a plus size woman and are worried about being uncomfortable, don't be. You will be treated with grace and dignity from the moment you step foot in her ultra clean studio. Fast, neat, clean, virtually painless. Feel like a million bucks when you walk out. I live in Marlton, her studio is in Cinnaminson, roughly 35 minutes from my home. Gas is $5 per gallon and I would drive to her studio if she was an hour away, that's how happy I was with my service today. If you have any doubts, let them go. Make an appointment and you will be so happy when you leave. I want to add one more thing; this is a small, female owned business not some huge corporation that forces the waxers to upsell product you already have and packages you don't need. Be comfortable, be at ease, feel great, be happy. Lux Wax Studio, best place for a wax in all of South Jersey.

I was booked for a massage with Caitlin, who upon greeting me, clearly looked as though she wanted…read moreto be anywhere but at work. She proceeded to take me to a frigid room, where she asked "what do you want." I told her I was four months postpartum and wanted a massage preferably laying on my side or back, to which she told me "I am not trained to do massages on the side or back" and stated she had the client face down the entire time. Having had massages done for over 20 years, I have never heard of a masseuse who is hired untrained to perform massages unless the client is solely on the back. Nor have I heard of a spa who books massages without specifying that the masseuse may be unable to do a massage at all if you are unable to lie on your stomach after you inform them you are postnatal from a c section. After I told her I guess I would cancel the massage because she kept shrugging stonefaced while telling me "I just can't do it," she promptly left the room and began gossiping with another masseuse down the hall. I literally had to call out after her "can you at least show me the way out?" given the lack of exit signs in Spavia's dark hallway. Caitlin rolled her eyes and sarcastically asked "you are not going to change into your clothes?" and I told her I needed the locker room. She wordlessly showed me the way before rolling her eyes again and stalking off. Please avoid booking with this woman Caitlyn and Spavia in general. Also, Caitlin came to collect me at 12:59pm (though I could hear her chatting with someone in the hallway well before then) so that my 1:00pm appointment time could start ticking away while she led me to the room, did intake, have me get ready, etc. No waiver or paperwork regarding massage goals was done at all, though it is unlikely she would have reviewed it anyway. I would also avoid this Spavia location for safety reasons.

I asked to use the restroom first and when I came out Rachel was waiting next to her room, ready for my appointment. Rachel was perfect, her energy was the best and her skill was ninja level - I swear I was in there for what felt like 30 seconds which speaks to her efficiency. Conversation was great, as I need a good distraction during a Brazilian, and definitely made it all a quick, easy process. Checking out with the same ladies was great, as I mentioned I'd be relocating and they even offered to look up the local EWC in the region. I will absolutely be back to see Rachel and the rest of the team at the Marlton location, and do yourself a favor and book one now.
