This is such an improvement over many brick-and-mortar prenatal massages, which are on a regular table with you lying sideways. We usually just verbally agree on a time in person or via text, then Kelli texts to confirm and sends a reminder the day before. Sandra kept working with me and though I had much to work through I was then able to finally take full deep inhales as if I was filling my body all the way up to my chin and head. What a relief! I have been doing Rosen work with Sandra for seven or eight years. Rosen work is very good at…read moredealing with long term chronic pain and processing somatized (suppressed) emotion. During a Rosen session, you undress down to your underwear and lie covered on a massage table. (You can skip undressing if you want). Sandra puts her hands very gently in various places and helps you sense your body more as you talk with her about what's up in your life. Sometimes it's not necessary to talk. I had done regular talk therapy for at least 20 years prior to starting with Sandra, and a lot of meditation and spiritual exploration as well. But working with Sandra helped me to get out of my head and past my defenses in a hurry. It has helped make me more resilient, creative, extroverted, and freer in my body and life. With Sandra's support I was able to end an 11 year toxic relationship, buy my own home, and weather 18 months of breast cancer treatment without disability income. I highly recommend Sandra to anyone frustrated by pain, or feeling stuck in life/therapy/relationship(s). Very very helpful to anyone with childhood abuse history.
