The extremely bright lights in the hallway were a little harsh coming out of such a relaxing, dark experience. They had a floaty ring for your head and ear plugs if you didn't wanna get water in ears.. the water was right at about 93 so very cozy.. the spa is salty so you float and it feels very strange.. at least to me. I couldn't relax but I stayed in for 20-30 min before I quit and showered.. lol it just wasn't for me but I will say a few hrs later I noticed I didn't have as much joint pain as I did when I got there. It has a lot of good things going for it the problem was totally me not the pod.. I may try it again in future but for now I'm good lol.. thank you to staff for understanding and being so kind.

It was my first time in the tank, and Valerie was very thorough in walking me through the procedure and what I could expect from it. My float itself went without a hitch, and I left the facility fully satisfied with the overall experience. Plus, the waiting room was homey and attractive, which, in my experience, does indeed make a big difference in how spa-type treatments will go (nothing sours a trip to the spa like a clinical, dehumanizing office and waiting room). If there was any negative, it was that the post-tank shower stall was a bit on the small side (though, it was equipped with some fabulous peppermint-oil soap!). I've done the salt float tank session four times at Aqua Float & Cryo. I will be calling it the…read more"salt pod." Each time, I've had a positive experience and have come out feeling more relaxed. I purchased the Groupon for three float sessions. I recently purchased it again, and the staff didn't really like that I did that but honored it anyways. They have membership options if you're looking for ways to save money. There's a picture that was current as of late Nov 2019 of membership options attached. Be sure to book an appointment in advance. When you get there, they check you in. The staff member asks if you need to use the restroom. Yes. Yes, you do. You do not want to in a salt pod for an hour needing to pee (rookie mistake). You get a private room with a shower, a salt pod, a bathrobe, two towels, earplugs, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. You're instructed to take a shower before getting into the salt pod. You have the option of wearing a swimsuit or not. It's a private, locking room. So, up to you. I would recommend using the earplugs. There are buttons inside the salt pod for music and light, to the right of your head. Just be sure not to press the attendant call button, which is there also. You can also leave the door on your pod if you don't like confined spaces. The pod doesn't lock and you can open the door any time. Pro tip: if you're wondering what water loaded with tons of salt tastes like, don't let curiosity get the best of you. It tastes very, very bad. If you're a reasonable adult human, there's no reason this will become in issue for you. After your time is done, the water in the pod starts gently flowing. You can then take a thorough shower and go to the front to check out. Overall, I enjoy it and it makes my back feel great.

I literally had tears in my eyes throughout the day. I KNEW something had to change. I was referred to Schilsky by 2 former co-workers who told me of their amazing experiences. As soon as you walk in the building, you are greeted by the friendliest faces behind the reception desk. Always polite, caring, and eager to help you. After just my first visit, they would then greet me by name, which was a very welcoming touch. I even got married since my initial visit and I am still greeted by my now not-so-easy to pronounce last name. The therapy is always so relieving and relaxing. Dr. Sprague takes his time to listen to your concerns, and tailors your treatment plan based on those individual concerns. He even took a couple minutes to teach my step-daughter about chiropractic care and give her a giggle!
