Walk-in check in was quick and painless and Dr Keefer had me out of the waiting room within minutes. After a couple of x-rays of my back and a thorough explanation as to what my back was experiencing, Dr Keefer put me on his table and went to work on me. The experience was both painful and exhilarating at the same time and the pain subsided almost immediately leaving me with an incredible feeling of relief and disbelief. It felt so good, I returned the following day and my walk-in check in was even smoother, quicker, and easier than before. Dr. Keefer put me on his table again and since my back had loosened up after the previous visit, I was able to relax and get a great adjustment. My back hasn't felt this good in years. Dr. Keefer is respectful, knowledgeable and seems to genuinely care about his patients. He seems young, very fit and, for the ladies, is easy on the eyes. . I love how considerate they were of my time as there were only one chiropractor there. I was a walk in and first time sessions take a little longer due to paperwork. I made an appointment there and was given the option to fill paperwork at home and bring it back during my appointment. A few minutes later after having a phone call in my car, the receptionist comes outside the door to ask if I want to be seen now due to another appointment cancellation. Awesome customer service!! She handed me a tablet to fill my info while explaining to me more about the clinic. She mentioned this place is more for wellness and not to fix severe issues from car accidents. This was totally fine with me as I only needed an adjustment due to the slight curvature in my spine. The back of the clinic has an open layout with adjustment beds lined in a row. People can scan their key card and go in the back to wait for a chiro. There's monthly plans where you can go 4x a month and package plans which are more flexible for your schedule. They have a fast walk in system due to the adjustments being very quick. The chiro did a very great job adjusting me as I felt no pain during and after. Definitely going to commit going multiple times a month to help my back pain since the price is so affordable! Oh did I mention they give military discount? Extra plus! They also gave me a cute goody bag and small informational folder as a first time patient.

I have had 5 sessions since the initial evaluation and this is the best I've felt in ages! At Axis my rehab consists of Leanne working her magic with manual therapy on my hips and back which is followed by a guided rehab protocol in their gym, (in addition to some of my own rehab at home). After being pretty hopeless about being able to walk pain-free ever again, I am now hiking and walking with my family and feel like I have a new lease on life.

She would have her assistant watch me do the activities she suggested. close to the last time I went, she had me doing a routine that was detrimental to my body, going sideways and stopping quickly. The first time I did it, when I stopped a pain went through my hip and dropped me to the floor. The assistant helped me up and got me on a table. The therapist wrapped tape around my leg to treat the pain. I went back for another session, when I walked out I never went back. I have later learned what she had me doing has caused non repairable damage. I now get shots in my hip to stop the pain. I don't sue people but in this case I wish I had. This girl was very arrogant and over confident of her abilities, she never supervised the patient leaving that up to her assistant who was never trained. I don't remember her name, so I can't pin point her exactly, so I suggest avoiding the business altogether as well as any other physical therapy business that tells you what to do and then leaves you to do the exercises while she goes to talk to her friends or whatever else. One on one continuous monitoring, is the way it should be.
