Jackson Town Square antler arches!!!
Jason B.

The Jackson Town Square is an awesome place to shop and eat! There is lots of awesome restaurants and gift shops to checkout! And there is lots to do! And the famous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is also in the square as well! and they have a restaurant and a bar side with pool tables and they also offer line dancing! And everything you could possibly want is in the square and there's also awesome sights and photo opportunities from the square of the Tetons!

Before visiting Jackson, I was, embarrassingly enough, obsessed with watching the Jackson Town Square webcam. I was delightfully surprise when we finally arrived in person at how cute this little town square is. There's a lot going on at this town square, even in the off season. Yes, there are a plethora of shopping options around and the Antler Arches are a cool sight but the little park itself, even though there was snow on the ground, always had something going on. Every time we passed by there was some sort of activity happening, whether it was "official" or not. We saw some people set up chairs and start singing. We saw people dancing. We saw some sort of game happening. It felt really homey to see all of this activity. I'm sure there's a lot more during the summer to explore and I'd highly recommend it.

The Jackson Town Square is located at the heart of the city. You can't miss it because the entrances have arches made of elk antlers. On my most recent trip, I spend most of my time during the day at Grand Teton National Park. In the evenings, I enjoyed taking a stroll to this park from my hotel. At the center of Town Square is a stone memorial honoring local veterans. There are plenty of benches to sit on throughout the park. Surrounding the park are restaurants, art galleries, and retail shops. This park is also known as George Washington Memorial Park and was dedicated in 1934. In the summer, there is a horse-drawn stagecoach that circles the park for people to ride on. They erect an ice-skating rink in the winter months. After grabbing a coffee from nearby Cowboy Coffee, I enjoyed relaxing in this beautiful park while doing some people watching.

Good for people watching (mostly of the rich people). But, there's a bunch of cute shops and restaurants around, the antler arches, horse drawn wagon rides, and a man making balloon animals for the kiddos. But, it is plenty crowded and the parking isn't great. 2023 #43

4 corners of the park has an antler arch which is very unique. The square it self is kinda small but surrounded by restaurants and gift shop.

What visit to Jackson is complete without stopping to see the Elk Horn Arches downtown?

A must-see for any visitor to Jackson. The arches are the gateways to the grand promenades to the US Vetetans Memorial. The horns are gathered yearly by volunteer Boy Scouts at the Elk Refuge.

[1076] 12/2018 We visited this town square a ton of times as its in the center of town. Plenty of room to walk or roam thru the square. They had events such a Santa visiting with the kids for free We really enjoyed this area. Check out YouTube as you can see it live online Will definitely be back

Ah! So this is where the iconic antler arches reside! I found out there are arches at each of the four corners of this park and the area surrounding it is full of great stores for souvenirs, clothing, jewelry, art, restaurants. The nice surprising aspect about Jackson Town Square is the abundance of free street parking and a free parking structure!

The town square in Jackson Wyoming lies in the heart of the City. To be precise , Jackson is the name of the city and the area including Jackson is referred to as Jackson Hole mainly because the area is surrounded by mountains. The square is a community park, albeit small in area. There are benches and walkways and some landscaping with lawn areas. The distinctive design element are the Elk antler entrance arches on each side of the square. Great for photo ops, thus the crowds that always seem to be present. Selfie's with the Elk Arches seem to be very popular. On Saturday's an seasonal farmer's market can be found selling produce and crafts, honey etc. around the square. Also surrounding the square are a variety of merchant establishments. Wyoming Outfitters, Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, Snake River Grill, Moo's Homemade Ice Cream * Sorbet and the Stage Stop to name a few. Prices are all over the place but many unique items can be found. The town is very aware of the COVID-19 pandemic and signs can be seen advising social distancing and the wearing of masks.

This is located right in the middle of the town. I walked all over the town and I kept coming back to this park unknowingly. I took a nice place under a tree, spread a linen and sat there, took a time-lapse of the the square and enjoyed my blueberry muffin from Persephone Bakery and ice cream from Moos. Relaxing as it can be, I wanted to take a nap. I felt safe around the area. Tip: bring a nice big blanket or picnic mat with you and enjoy your lunch or dinner under a shade for a relaxing view of the park. You can also read your favorite book and indulge yourself with some fresh air. Ohhh how can I forget.... have a picture taken in front of the Elk Antler Arches!!! You can choose from 4 different sides of the park!!! I unusual like antlers and finding so many of these here in Wyoming makes me feel like I've found my special place here on earth.

Elk Antler Arch in Jackson Hole, WY!

Jackson is a town in the Jackson Hole valley of Teton County, Wyoming, with a population of about 9,000 people. It is a popular tourist town especially in the winter. The main points of interest are: -The Grand Teton National Park -Yellowstone National Park -National Elk Refuge -Snow King Resort -The National Museum of Wildlife Art -And the Elk Antler Arches right here in Town Square! The elk antler arches are an iconic backdrop, especially at night, when the arches light up. The first Arch was built in 1953, and today there are a total of four on each corner of the Square. Each arch contains about 2,000 antlers and due to the harsh weather, the arches are replaced about every 50 years. From Snow King Resort, it was only a 10-minute walk to Town Square. It was definitely worth the walk!

It's a nice park or place to meet and gather. It's touristy but also serene enough to spend a quiet afternoon here.

Snake River Angler & Scenic Float Trips

Our group included experienced fly fishers with their own gear as well as relative newbies and ALL were treated to just the right experience. The skilled casters were given tight targets that often yielded fish. The first timers were shown how to throw a dry and consistently put on fish, too. The guides had two in each boat and brought lunch for all. They provided rods, waders and flies, which they changed and tied on gladly and often. We fished the Wilson Bridge down to South Pass and Jenny Lake dam to Pacific Creek, two very different and very productive stretches. Neither was difficult fishing. Caught plenty of smaller fast water cutthroats on the lower section and big (BIG) cutthroats and whitefish on the crystal clear upper dam-fed section. Our group has a lot of experience and familiarity with fly fishing, and all of us thought the experience with Snake River Anglers was excellent -- true fly fishing advice and guiding for the advanced angler, and helpful tutoring and teaching to the newcomer. Never intimidating. Nor ever underwhelming. These guys got it going on. We fished dries, steamers and some nymphs on indicators in late April.

We flew 1,600 miles from Atlanta, Georgia to fly fish specifically. Chris confirmed with our hotel…read morethat our reservation was booked. No one showed up the morning they were supposed to pick us up. Turns out Chris didn't even enter us into their system. It was such a let down and a waste of thousands of dollars on plane tickets and hotels. I would never use them again!
