On the basis of that long experience, I would highly recommend this fuel center because of its convenient location in a good neighborhood, easy-in/out, and their clean/uncluttered lot. Now it seems, I have to drop the "highly" from my praise. In the past week I've been inconvenienced/delayed on consecutive visits by malfunctions of their computer system - momentary interruptions or unexpected reboots - either before or while I was pumping gas. Long lines form at the window while the clerk vaguely explains to each customer that we can't pump gas (or pay with credit or debit card, or get receipts for gas already pumped), because their "system has gone down". Not good, Fred Meyer. Ger 'er fixed, or customers like us (who pass up other gas stations to get to your fuel center) will soon stop visiting your location.

On top of that, I noticed an item being manually entered at a higher price than expected. Whether it was an error or not, customers should not have to worry about being charged the wrong price. Check your prices and receipts carefully. The way I was treated was disrespectful and completely unnecessary. Management seriously needs to look into how customers are being treated at self-checkout and make sure pricing is handled correctly. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
