The customer service I received from their night manager today (07/19/25) was very poor. He was condescending and rude. All I wanted was to know how to get a credit for the rotten lettuce I received from their drive-up and go department. This is the second time I received bad produce from this particular Salmon Creek Safeway store. I tried to support Safeway over the years, and today I will no longer do so. read more

Safeway - Grocery Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Just left this store and overheard Jacob by the self-checkout loudly talking with a customer about how trans people are being forced into too much media, that the DEI and wokeness is out of control, and they don't want to hear about trans people anymore. The conversation was more intense than I am paraphrasing here. Very concerning. read more

BAKERY review only This is a great place to have a cake made for a special occasion. The team in this bakery LOVE their jobs and it shows in the level of care, service and attention to detail you receive from them. Order 3 cakes of different flavors and sizes for our event and each one was great. What you would expect and then some with how they treat you. Thank you! read more

Nice store inventory wise, but both times I've been it's been a bit of a sketchy crowd shopping there. Last week when I went, when I got to my car I saw some people running out of the store with baskets. Hopped in the getaway car and threw the baskets out the window when they reached the light to exit the parking lot. I know this happens a lot at grocery stores, I used to work at an Albertsons.. but this particular location just seems a bit sketchier than others. Albertsons is usually a very nice store in my experience. read more

Just got home to find that both meat items I bought were 3 days past expiration.. Not on sale or even bargain area.. This after I told the manager that a bakery item in the refrigerated case where the bakery need to get for you was 2 days past expiration.. I am not even sure why I asked about the cupcake I guess it looked a little droopy.. Glad I did and checked everything else when I got home.. As a person with disabilities it is hard to get to the market and do not want to pay more for delivery and yet I wasted money.. Manager looked blankly at me when I mentioned the bakery.. Last time I go there read more

Popped in to grab some beer for the weekend. I've been into the Battle Ground Albertsons recently and they had a good selection of brewskies and was hoping these guys did too since I was in the area. As far as selection I was pleased with this one too. Some pretty good sales and a great selection of local IPA's. I'd give 5 stars but those roundabout cash registers are stupid! I'll return if I'm in the area! read more

See all

Just a quick stop this evening to buy some milk, and then up front to check out. Amazing, but there was no one waiting in line at any of the registers. As I set my purchase on the belt, the unsmiling young lady at the register asked me, "Have you tried the self-check?" I confess that her question puzzled me, but I answered honestly, "Yes, I have, but it's bad for my health; they never seem to work right and my blood pressure goes through the roof." On the way out, my mind rolled around in search of "the right way", the "friendly, customer service way" to interpret her question. Search failed. read more

The place is always clean and nice to walk in. However if you come here you will wait in line for a long time. I live here near and it's the only reason I ever come in here. There's always never more than one single lane open. And I notice a significant price increase in everything! If you are doing a full grocery shop, expect to spend $150 more at this store read more

The cashier staff is so friendly . They always have smiles and make the experience so good !

I have been ordering our family birthday cakes from this store for 8 years now and they do an amazing job! The price is outstanding, try them you won't be disappointed, Sherry does exactly what I needed a soccer ball . Then on top of that I used the Deli for a tray and they did fabulous job. Unlike Costco you can customize the ingredients, worth it. read more

Safeway - Fed 12 - Grocery Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Great grocery customer service. The staff does their absolute best to help customers find and item. They have the freshest fruit and vegetables in Vancouver. I started shopping here after I lost taste for the Fred Meyer and Safeway ghetto stores. read more

''I give this store 5 stars definitely'' A very handy stop for me now roughly 20 years since I've been coming here when in salmon creek? The store is just off 20th and a handy swing by when I'm in this neighborhood before going up on the I-5 north entrance which is about 1 minute away then 15 minutes to home in La Center. The store items are fresh, The store is very clean, The store personnel are polite, courteous, and Helpful when ever I'm here? ''Thank you Joe Albertson'' read more

I shop here for a few reasons. One, it's close by. But so are Fred Meyer, Chuck's, and Safeway. Fred Meyer is fine but always packed. Safeway is ok too. Chuck's you can forget about because there is NEVER a place to park. My Albertsons might not have the most amazing selection but they are convenient and the employees are wonderful. Do they always have specialty items that I might need? No, but for 90% of my shopping I'll take great customer service, ease of parking, and proximity any day. read more

Okay, so the place is somewhat outdated and it's not the most attractive grocery store in town. But what it lacks in cosmetic appeal, it absolutely makes up for in customer service. The staff in every department of the store have been nothing short of exceptional. We've shopped here for quite some time now, and though the selection isn't always as robust as other locations, it is perfect for the essentials of every day life. Also, hit up Cheap Chicken Monday. It is seriously some of the best chicken we've ever had. So good in fact that they were asked to train the staff at Safeway locations in their specific recipe and cooking methods, and now most of the local Safeway stores have gone that route as well. read more

Come here if you'd like some overpriced products that amount to sometimes 5X or more what you would pay for the exact same thing most places elsewhere. The location of this store is convenient for someone living in Salmon Creek but given the competition nearby I'd go elsewhere because not only is this place super expensive (the produce just isn't as Fresh as Freddie's or as affordable as Winco - you think there'd maybe be a healthy in between but I think it's just spendy due to the location?), but I'm sad to say I've had certain staff members treat me rudely here to top it all off. How bad of a review can you give a grocery store though I guess I'm really just being honest about my experience. read more

After a failed attempt to get crab at Safeway I arrive here at 8:50. Seafood counter is open until 9. Ask employee to get me some crab as she is cleaning the meat/seafood area. No problem, would you like snow crab or king crab. Snow crab please, thanks for doing your job. read more

Better prices than Fred Meyer and a faster, quieter grocery shopping trip. The workers are always attentive and helpful when I need it and know me on a first-name basis :) Definitely way better than Fred Meyer when you just need simple groceries read more

We did a quick late night trip to the store this evening. It was a toss up between Albertsons and Safefway. Both myself and my best friend deemed it the BEST idea to go to Albertsons. Their customer service was far above and beyond what we had expected. Lisa Church was funny, kind, and helpful. We asked a lot of her and she had nothing but enthusiasm (even if we were there 5 minutes prior to losing) to help with all our wishes. Both of us left (we live super close to this Albertsons and a nearby Safeway) saying we will be coming back to Albertsons over Safeway due to Lisa's great attitude!! read more

Convenient, however not a good selection of chemical free produce. Also, not much in the way of gluten free dairy free that isn't immensely over priced. Also, it's a bummer quite frequently the food I purchase there expires with in a day or two. read more

The slowest checkout lines ever. Falling behind in selection. Great beer prices. Badly in need of a make over. Will maybe go the way of the dinosaurs with the new competition? read more

The friendliest and easiest-to-shop grocery store around. The cashiers go out of their way to make the checkout process go well.

Why does anyone shop here? Location maybe, pharmacy possibly. But for me the limited selection of overpriced groceries frustrates me every tune I go in here. This is the closest market to my house so sometimes I run here for an ingredient or two in a hurry, and I always tell myself "this is the last time!" read more

lisa is the best cashier i've ever had my whole. i love the store. never take it away.

Albertsons service, A thing of the past. I remember the day the Albertsons on 20th Ave Salmon Creek Vancouver, WA, had great customer service, and it was not very long ago. In the past they were friendly and would take every other stores coupon, and I understand everyone has had to tighten the budget and I am OK with that. Last night I was there and I had a manufactures coupon and they would not take it because it was not in their system and it was not from their store. I am not as frustrated about the coupon as I am the way I was treated. Stores spit out manufactures coupons all the time and any store takes them as long as they say on them "manufactures coupon" The manager was rude!!!! and she could have taken it as I did spend $100 and it was not like I came in buying a $3 item with a $2 off coupon, but she would not. She said she would talk to the person that takes care of the coupons. Not good enough, even Walmart takes them, not that I am saying I comparing them nor do I shop at Walmart very much, but I never though I would see the day I had better service the last time I was at Walmart than my local Albertsons. I pay higher prices at Albertsons for better service, and the service has been going away and so have I been. No Matter I am a Target shopper most of the time anyway. Shame on you Albertsons read more
