There was a car in the wash and one about to get a wash. When I get up to the payment station I select my wash and tried to pay. My card doesn't work. I try two more card both don't work. I press the button that says "for assistance press button". A employee came out and just walks past me without saying anything. I wait a minute or two then decide I'm gonna drive thru and talk to someone inside. I get out of the wash and the shop doors are closed and everyone is gone. The time was 3:57pm and they didn't close till 4pm. I understand I came last minute (not knowing they closed at 4) and people want to get home. What I'm upset that the employee that walked past my car didn't saying anything about them closing early or about me not being able to get a car wash. To me that's very unprofessional and I will not be coming back at any point. I also don't recommend anyone using this car wash either. Customer service is always important.

After calling five different shops that either didn't answer or couldn't help, Stein's Auto Shop picked up. Even though they were short-staffed, already busy, and facing a holiday the next day, they said they could take a look. They also strongly suggested a nearby towing service rather than limping the truck in. That advice turned out to be spot-on--the transfer case was completely bound up. Priority Towing showed up, loaded all four of us (truck, humans, and dog), took the 4Runner to Stein's, waited while we dropped it off, and then drove us to a nearby dog-friendly hotel. That alone would've been above and beyond. The next day, the truck was fixed, test-driven, and running like normal. To top it off, the owner personally picked me up from the hotel. The whole team was kind, calm, and genuinely engaged--walking through what most likely caused the issue and answering questions without any rush or condescension. All for a very reasonable price. Owning a small business means this truck matters. A 2001 Limited 4WD 4Runner with plans to see another 200,000 miles deserves good hands, and Stein's proved they're exactly that. James is amazing! My car broke down on a Friday and I was calling around to every mechanic shop in…read morethe area. I am from the Bay Area and we were about 2.5 miles from home when my car started making weird noises and then just died. I was able to start the car up again and get it to our house in Pioneer and get a call out to AAA for a tow. After waiting for our tow truck, I was able to get ahold of Steins Auto Care and I spoke with James who told me to bring my Tucson in so they could see what the issue was. I had the vehicle towed and due to this being a Friday, after 3pm, James advised they could look at my vehicle on Monday. I was fine with that, however, I had no car to get me home. James suggested the Enterprise Rental Agency in Sutter Creek and I was able to acquire a vehicle for a few days. Stein personally drove my Hubby and I to Enterprise and I was able to lock down a car so I could get home for my work shift. James contacted me as soon as they were able to do a diagnostic on my car and had to break the bad news to me. He let me know that the engine had failed and that I would need to have an entire engine replacement. James suggested I have the vehicle towed to Hyundai to see if this would be replaced under the Hyundai Warranty. Thanks to James and Stein, this was a smooth process and I was able to get the vehicle towed to Stockton Hyundai for a full engine replacement. Luck was certainly on my side when I dialed Stein's number for help and I appreciate all of the hard work and assistance provided by this fantastic Auto Shop. A single tire took two trips, and the installation took 45 minutes since they were standing around talking and taking smoke breaks while working. They also messed up my first order, tacking on extra costs... and they kept a tire that I asked them to put in the back when they were done. And dirty hands on my steering wheel..
