As I go down the list of vendors, I came across Walt Garrison's BBQ truck and knew this was the one, lol. There was a small line when I went, a little after noon. The gentleman who took my order was very polite and got the line moving quick. They do accept cards, in case anyone was wondering. I ordered the platter with two meats, which came out to be about $13. I picked brisket and sausage as my meats and pinto beans as my side, and it came with honey mustard, pickles, and Texas toast. The sausage had a little kick to it, which I loved. I thought the portion of the platter was a bit small, but that maybe because everything was so dang delicious ;) Definitely a must have if you're ever in the park while they're around.

The crepe was really good, thin, and crisp. The ingredients inside the crepe went well together, and were arranged evenly. The garlic parmesan fries were a little over flavored for my taste, but still good. The crepe, fries, and a sprite totaled - $13.00. Granted, the meal was filling and fresh but the price seemed a bit much to me. I would revisit and try the Nutella and banana crepe.

This quesadilla was not your normal beef and cheese. It was so flavorful! The marinade and cheese burst through the tortilla on the first bite. My picky 8 yr old, finished his entire plate. We were really pleased. They served lemonade with snocone ice, which was perfect for an outdoor event. The entire staff wore gloves and mask. Can't wait to follow this truck to the next event.

The tacos appear small when you get them, but they come with pretty large chunks of chicken. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with my purchase. The avocado aioli was a really great touch to the taco. I will say that you might want to get a little more than just two tacos if you're actually hungry. Luckily, I just needed a snack this time.

One would assume the truck had an idea about how many people might order at once. But, nope... It took a FULL 40 minutes to get an order of tacos and a burrito (and there were only maybe 8-10 people who ordered before me!). After the food came out, both me and my daughter were disappointed that it was rather bland and the steak was WAY overcooked. Another reviewer mentioned it was mushy and didn't really have any flavor without the sauces. And we agree. "Cheese?" "HELL YAH!" "One strip of bacon or Taquito Special with two?" "I can have two??? DANG! TWO!" And he folded the contents neatly into a tortilla and pressed it into the griddle until is was a little crispy around the edges. This was in fact the absolute best breakfast taco/taquito in the world! I double dog dare you to find one that rivals it. And yes, I've had Taco Joint. And I love chrizo. I'm basing my best ever status on same content breakfast tacos. You may find snazzier ingredients, but you won't find a better bacon, fried egg, cheese taco in the Dallas.

They visited Las Colinas for Food Truck Tuesdays and at the time, there wasn't line sot he food came out fast and they guy taking the order was very nice. Now the tacos were a very pleasant suprise. More on that later. While some dishes were authentic, others like the variations of bao were fusion dishes. I mixed things up and ordered all 3 baos, popcorn chicken and an iced black tea. Altogether took about 22 minutes to get my food whereas my friend who ordered before me got his in less than 5 minutes. Other people who ordered after me got their food first and even ordered some of the same things! While all this was going on, the people at the window kept calling some guy named Oliver to the pickup window and kept handing him food. I later deduced this was more of a friends and family event as I saw people go to the rear of the food truck and walking away with food. A number of people even made repeated trips back there which delayed others from getting their orders in a timely manner. Aside from this, the food was tasty but attention to detail was lacking as 2 out of the 3 baos were haphazardly assembled. The beef patty bao was surprisingly excellent followed by the fried chicken one. I'd pass on the pork bao as it fell apart when I tried to eat it. The popcorn chicken had a ton of salt bombs too while other pieces were bland. Going back to Taiwan throughout my childhood as well as my adult years have shown how night markets keep tradition and elevate dishes at the same time. For the cost of food I did not get my money's worth and could go elsewhere to get Taiwanese food sans fusion stuff. I will still give it another shot as this deserves a second chance. Got the quesadilla after about 50 minutes got the 3 tacos 30 min later and never even got the corn bc we didn't have another 20 minutes to wait. Absolutely AWFUL service. You have to be prepared if you are serving at these events. Was not the only one who walked away and never got all their food. Maybe if you are the only one or first to order it would be worth it but the experience we had will not be bringing us back.
