We stopped by F&F at he Southlake Spring Fair. Great flavor and the dumplings were crispy. I enjoyed the spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce options to add. Shrimp was a little soggy and believe it was due to the shrimp being cooked in advance and being added to the bowl. Ate at this truck at the Prestonwood Christmas Tree Lighting Festival-- it pretty much absolutely ruled. Great service, great personality, great food-- not overly done on the sauce or salt either, so you feel healthy when you're done. (And if you NEED that extra kick of flavor, they have a variety if delicious sauces ready for you to apply to your heart's content.) I first experienced this mouth watering meal at a place called Cidercade about a month ago, the food truck was there. I had the veggie bowl and instantly fell in love. From then on I stalked their website to keep up with the food truck location and was finally able to experience this taste bud dancing meal again yesterday. Queen Stalker :) I got the veggie bowl again and was completely satisfied. I love the sweet potato noodles and how all the taste and flavors come together to form a nice meal. Plus you get a lot for your money. Those bowls are stuffed. I gave a 4 star only because of the difficulty in actually locating the food truck. On the website it list a place like; Residence Inn, Plano and a time 5-7pm. No address EVER. So you have to call for the address. And times are always off. I showed up at the hotel at 5:15 and there was no food truck. I called the hotel and asked were they expecting a food truck at their location and they said yes at 6pm. Ugghhhhh a whole hour early. But you know I waited. I wouldn't be a Queen Stalker if I didn't. Beneficial changes would be to add actual addresses and accurate times of the food truck on the website. This is by far my favorite location since moving to Dallas this month. This is a Korean/Japanese fusion bowl with a subway set up. You come in pick a bowl, pick your base of brown or white rice, then choose if you want to add veggies and sweet potato noodles. Then pick your protein (we chose fried chicken and Korean beef, then your final topping of whatever veggies and sauces you want and WOW. Best food I've had in Dallas. I highly reccomend! Got a Korean bowl outside of the anime convention in Irving. It was delicious! Generous amount for the price. It was so good I went searching for the actual location and there happened to be one down the street from my house (fast furious if anyone is wondering). I usually only go order out and it takes about 5, no more than 10, minutes to get my food. I always get the bowl with fried rice, veggies, & chicken. It never disappoints. Unreliable and unprofessional. I would rate zero stars if the system allowed. We had a corporate event which we booked F&F Express for, we booked a month in advance and checked in with him every week to ensure that everything was on schedule. The morning of the event, Kenny emails me at 1 in the morning and says that his generator is down and cancels on the event. Coincidentally, there is an event that the food truck is working at UTD on the same day. I will make sure to let everyone I know in the Dallas metroplex about my experience with Kenny. Do not use F&F Express if you want to be canceled on last minute and left in a bind. Will never go to one of their restaurants again. Such a shame. read more
