They served the full menu with all the sides and soft drinks for a party of 40 hungry adults and did it quite efficiently. Food was great as usual and I received many compliments on the whole idea of a food truck, the variety, quality, and quantity of the food. Everyone was very pleased with their food. I personally ate some Cajun fries and a double bacon cheeseburger. Lot of folks had burgers, some had hotdogs, gumbo, red beans and rice and everyone had the fresh cut french fries. Also saw quite a few folks eating po boys, especially the shrimp po boys. Everything freshly made. They served the food with short wait times and stayed for a bit to ensure everyone was fed and then cleaned up and were on their way. This is the way to have a party! I highly recommend Rick and his team for your event as well as their everyday food truck business. We tried them twice prior to booking our party and their food/service was great then too.

Really great new taco truck! I tried both the beef fajita tacos and the chuleta pork tacos, which…read moreare made with pork chops cooked in a mustard and chimichurri sauce. Both were delicious, and their salsas added the perfect spicy kick to everything. The owner is so friendly and originally from Mexico City, and the food is inspired by the flavors of Mexico City, which happens to be one of my favorite styles of Mexican food. They're a new food truck and still building out the menu. I already put in my request for birria tacos and birria machetes in the future! They also mentioned that they plan to eventually add Dallas-style hot dogs and elotes, so I'm excited to see what else they come up with. Definitely worth checking out and supporting a new local business. 5/5, would absolutely come back!

This quesadilla was not your normal beef and cheese. It was so flavorful! The marinade and cheese burst through the tortilla on the first bite. My picky 8 yr old, finished his entire plate. We were really pleased. They served lemonade with snocone ice, which was perfect for an outdoor event. The entire staff wore gloves and mask. Can't wait to follow this truck to the next event.

As I go down the list of vendors, I came across Walt Garrison's BBQ truck and knew this was the one, lol. There was a small line when I went, a little after noon. The gentleman who took my order was very polite and got the line moving quick. They do accept cards, in case anyone was wondering. I ordered the platter with two meats, which came out to be about $13. I picked brisket and sausage as my meats and pinto beans as my side, and it came with honey mustard, pickles, and Texas toast. The sausage had a little kick to it, which I loved. I thought the portion of the platter was a bit small, but that maybe because everything was so dang delicious ;) Definitely a must have if you're ever in the park while they're around.

Customer service was a 10/10 the woman who took my order was very personable. I got the pasta with chicken, to me the portion size for the price was small. Wow FOOD IS AMAZING…read more We tried the fried chicken bao, pork belly bao, fries, and popcorn chicken. Everything was beyond delicious. The popcorn chicken had very different flavor but a very different wow flavor. The popcorn chicken came with fried basil I mean come on, I didn't know popcorn chicken gets that freaking good. Pork belly had a peanut flavor which was so perfect. Fried chicken was on the sweet little salty side which was very delightful, so juicy, and flavorful I almost fainted. Even the fries tasted so good. I mean y'all need to come and try this. Don't get one thing get EVERYTHING try all of their different flavors. Getting just one thing you won't get the full experience, you'll get some but not the full Jababae experience, stuff your face and enjoy the flavors these amazing people make for you. I was excited there was a Taiwanese food truck in town and wanted to see what they had to offer…read more The grand opening was yesterday and when I arrived at 2:30pm there were already a good number of people hanging out. More on that later. While some dishes were authentic, others like the variations of bao were fusion dishes. I mixed things up and ordered all 3 baos, popcorn chicken and an iced black tea. Altogether took about 22 minutes to get my food whereas my friend who ordered before me got his in less than 5 minutes. Other people who ordered after me got their food first and even ordered some of the same things! While all this was going on, the people at the window kept calling some guy named Oliver to the pickup window and kept handing him food. I later deduced this was more of a friends and family event as I saw people go to the rear of the food truck and walking away with food. A number of people even made repeated trips back there which delayed others from getting their orders in a timely manner. Aside from this, the food was tasty but attention to detail was lacking as 2 out of the 3 baos were haphazardly assembled. The beef patty bao was surprisingly excellent followed by the fried chicken one. I'd pass on the pork bao as it fell apart when I tried to eat it. The popcorn chicken had a ton of salt bombs too while other pieces were bland. Going back to Taiwan throughout my childhood as well as my adult years have shown how night markets keep tradition and elevate dishes at the same time. For the cost of food I did not get my money's worth and could go elsewhere to get Taiwanese food sans fusion stuff. I will still give it another shot as this deserves a second chance. To answer the question that is the name of the business, no I am not full but will wait till next time to see how things pan out. I am hopeful things can be better and maybe some of this was just grand opening jitters. 下次见面. 加油!
