I called, and I suspect the owner is who answered (he called me honey & sweetheart -which as an adult woman & paying customer is very offensive, condescending, and sexist). Hopefully this person does not talk to female customers like this in the future. He explained that the person I originally scheduled with was no longer there- and an employee would be there at 10 AM. I told him that I would need to confirm that this worked. Since I was told an employee would be there at 10 AM - I assumed I would be able to be serviced an HOUR after my original appointment. I go back at 10 - no one was there- I called again and the owner scolded me for not confirming- to which I asked why he told me someone would be there at 10 am if that wasn't true, again being sexist and condescending, calling me honey and sweetheart. He says someone is on their way and will be there at 10:30 - I confirm I will be there. Mind you, I have engagement pictures to get ready for - so this is already leaving me very crunched for time. I go back for the THIRD time at 10:30 - to my surprise there is someone there, with a customer who is already being serviced. When I finally left after not being serviced when I had an appointment at 9 AM originally, I run home with 35 minutes to do my own hair, and still needed to get dressed an do makeup. I probably called an additional 2 times before the wedding day to ensure my appointments were still on the calendar and to confirm the artists. They were able to have 3 stylists so the day started at 7:45AM until 10:00AM. Blowouts include a wash for $55 and Updos don't include a wash and are $95. Everyone was on time which was great. We had 2 blowouts and 5 updos for the party. I think everyone's hair looked great. There was one auntie that was not happy about her updo (but she didn't voice it) so I don't blame the hair stylist on that and believe that the stylist would have fixed it had she said anything. It's important to note (with any stylist) to bring lots of examples of what you want so the stylist knows or to bring photos of ideas and they can choose what might look best for you.
