This is a good sized restaurant that has some good pub food and beers. Sometimes the service is a bit slow but you have to expect that a bit from a pub that isn't too busy. On superbowl Sunday we had no plans of going out, but we did decide we wanted to order in wings. I called here prior to Sunday and placed an order for wings. My wife and I enjoyed a meal at this Bethpage bar & grill. The place is noisy from the bar chattering and the live music. Our food was quite good. The appetizers and entrees were delicious and we received good service from start to finish. So I came here for a little get together with some people from work. Ended up having a great time! This place is nice and big too! Lots of tables to sit at and lots of room at the bar area. I went on a Thursday night so it wasn't as crowded as I'm sure it is on weekends. They had some good music playing throughout the place too. I like my 80's and 90's music and that seemed to be the gist of what they were playing for the night. The drinks are nice and strong too and prices are fair. Also had the pleasure of meeting the bar's owner- Sean! Very, very nice man! Bartenders are great too. Very attentive and pleasant people. I highly recommend this spot! I have been to Jackie Reilly's three times under very different circumstances. First was for my grandpa's 85th birthday celebration. We rented out the seating section and threw a surprise party. We had a great time, and they were very accommodating to us, allowing us to use their projector to show a video we had made for him. The second time was to buy for said grandpa a bunch of their rice pudding that he LOVES to bring to him since he doesn't get around too much any more and can't get himself there. I will throw in for consideration that most of the people there were of a certain age. This did not disturb us at all because everyone was having a good time and minding their own business. The same way that Whoville seems to cater to the 35-45 crowd for some unknown reason, Jackie Reilly's seems to take the 45 and up crowd for the same unknown reason. The third time I came to meet with some old friends for a few drinks on a Friday night. All three times my experience at Jackie Reilly's was very good. The drink prices are very fair, and I never had a problem getting to the bar to get myself a drink. It's a great bar for catching up with old friends, as it turns out, since it isn't too loud. It really feels like an authentic Irish pub, and that's great. Everything is covered in wood paneling. I now know what it's like on the inside of a whisky barrel. While I didn't personally try it, my friends got the appetizer platter and were raving about it. All the expected fried foods on one big plate. They did not have any problem with us taking a new chair to our tiny corner table, or even moving a table over to us as more people arrived. Owner Sean R. has created the place to enjoy fine dinning and spirits in one spot! The best time to stop in is during lunch time. Seating isn't an issue and it's generally not crowded. However, during dinner hours( after 5pm) the bar area starts to get busy especially on nights when a big game is on. I never have to wait very long to be seated and the food is fantastic always! The buffalo wings are spot on. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because of the noise level during the evening hours. There is hardly any separation from the dining room and bar so the noise gets loud some nights. But it's a bar and that is to be expected. I usually order the chicken francese. The portions are more then expected and prepared expertly at a decent price. I am not much of a drinker, but I never had an issue with any cocktails that I have ordered. This place has a pretty good bar which gets crowded and a table service restaurant. The food is good typical bar food. It's pretty easy to get a seat because most people come for the bar not the restaurant. My favorite dish is the steak sandwich. The steak is cut up in chunks and it's cooked perfectly. The service for the restaurant is ok. The parking lot is horrible. It is narrow, especially in from the the bar. You should park on the side lots. A lot easier to navigate. read more

I will start by saying I usually only have wings here and they are very good we met some friends there one night and decided to have dinner we started with the sampler app platter wings good, chicken fingers good, potato skins good and I believe there were mozzarella sticks (good bar food) then I decided to get a burger I was skeptical because I do not usually like burgers out because I do not like pre made patties so I asked the server if the burgers were made fresh like chop meat smashed together fresh and not premade patties she told me they were made fresh (not true) we all got burgers I asked for mine to be medium well when I got my burger it was a premade (probably frozen) dried out over cooked char broiled piece of crap I do not understand why most restaurants serve frozen crap burgers how hard is it to shape some fresh chop meat into a patty add some salt and pepper and cook I mean Really so I think ill jut be sticking to the wings from now on (they are good) at least we had a great time catching up with great friends read more

I went to this restaurant last night with my family for the first time but never again. We were greeted by a waitress that told us they had a big party of fireman coming in and they only had the booths against the wall. We were 5 adults packed in like sardines. The food took way over an hour. We could barely move to eat. By the time we left at 7:30, there still was no one at the tables. Not to mention, the place is filthy. My fiancé and his friends have been coming here for years. Great local watering hole! This is actually the place I met my now fiancé four years ago and I'm not ashamed to say it! Lol! Jackie Reilly's will always have a special place in my heart if for that reason alone but there is so much more. They have some of the best bar and catered food around. Best wings and chicken fingers hands down. They are so good that sometimes we will stop by from wherever we are after a night out just to eat there! We've also been there for larger parties and the catered food is awesome too: get the shepherd's pie. There's not many places that are consistently good on LI. The owner, Sean is always there and greets you with a smile. It's a nice authentic place that isn't trying too hard (like a lot of places on LI these days) that makes you feel like family. Hosted a birthday party here recently and they were super thorough and prepared for the whole group. They assigned multiple waiters to the table and the drinks came out fast.
