Tow Truck Driver (Jabar) is rude and unkind. When asked to park the vehicle in a spot in our automotive shop parking lot that we cleared for him, instead he parked the vehicle (that would not drive forward) down the hill in a parking spot in our restaurant neighbor's parking lot. When one of our staff members asked him to hook up the vehicle again and move it to our parking lot, he antagonized our employee by running into to our employee with his body. Jabar's behavior is VERY unbecoming and inappropriate in a work environment. Thankfully, our employee kept his head and didn't react to Jabar's non-sense. read more

My daughter had a flat tire. We called Roadside Assistance which is provided by our insurance company. This company kept accepting the job even though they were 30 miles away even though on the first time they called to let her know they couldn't help because the guy only had a Toyota Prius. Yes, a towing company that is using a Toyota Prius and apparently can't inflate tires, definitely can't tow anything, is 30 miles+ away, and kept accepting a job that is the bare freaking minimum that a towing company or Roadside Assistance should be able to handle. Called for a lockout in Ottawa. Was told it would be 1 hr. This was at 615pm. Waited the hr. Called back and was told driver wa son way. Finally gave up and called local sheriffs office and they came and helped. Called back the jack rabbit usa to make a complaint. Dispatcher was rude and said driver couldn't find me so just cancelled it without notifying me. I called for assistance to get in my car at 8:29 A.M. The battery on my key fob died with no warning. Key doesn't work. At 10:40 A.M my insurance company called me and told me they would send another service provider. Since they could not get them to answer the phone to even give update. At the same time my insurance company called me, I was on hold with a dispatcher from Jack Rabbit. On hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me. Very very poor service! During my wait I was text twice, driver on his way Or ETA Changed to 15 minutes. 45 minutes later still no one. That's when my Insurance company got involved and dispatched someone else. showed up to my house to change a flat, tugged on the nuts and said they were frozen (it was 60 degrees) and i needed an air blaster to get them off. Called back insurance to find out they would need to tow my car. Not once but twice Jack rabbit usa came to change a tire. First time I told him I don't have a jack that would jack high enough to change the tire. He showed up, asked for my jack. I repeated it would not jack high enough. He just turn in to a jerk and left. Second time flat on my car. Showed up took off one lug and then the rest was to tight. They contract through this place, 45 min wait after 30 min went by they call my wife and said it was going to be another hr because he didn't have the tools to do it. Tried to tell her the bolts were impacted on so he needed to get his truck with a bigger tire iron. WTF? I had to take off work and go change it myself costing me an hr of my time. Dont use them if you have a choice. It was 9:36pm and ill i needed was a jump. I set up with Geico and they said the tech would be out in 36 minutes. The time has come and gone. Around 10:12pm i get a text from Melvin saying who he is and asked if i had jumper cables (what if i didnt?) I didnt see the message right away but responded at 10:16 to say i did. I told them i was at the gas station outside of the store. No response. At 10:18 i tried calling the number geico had listed just to make sure they knew exactly where i was. No response. At 10:40 i texted the number that had texted me and asked if they were coming and called. No response. Finally i reset up with Geico for someone new. LockMeds gentleman jumped out of the shower and was there in 10 mins. Just got a text at 11:26pm that someone was on their way for jack rabbit..... terrible. He did not even come to look at my car and find out whether or not he could get the lug nuts off himself. Worst experience of my life. Took the bid from my insurance to change out my flat tire. Was told was on their way only to find out 30 min later they dont change tires on SUV or on the interstate; both of which were listed on the bid description. Ricardo was very rude, and sexist, telling me because I was a woman my spare tire wasnt usable (even though I informed him dealership put a new spare in my SUV in Nov 2019) and I also didnt know what a jack was. DO NOT USE. I didn't want to give them 1 star, they don't deserve even that. I was referred to them by USAA when I called for roadside assistance. The man called and asked me what was wrong with my car, which was a flat tire and I couldn't get it off the car. He automatically told me that my rim was frozen to the hub and he wouldn't be able to help me because he didn't have the proper equipment. He said I would have to call and request a tow truck. When that company came out, he took a small mallet like tool and banged on the tire and the sucker came right off. He said it was just a little rusted. I mean, apparently Jackrabbit can diagnose over the phone and because of this, manages to leave people stranded trying to get help elsewhere. read more

I called my insurance this morning because I locked my keys out of my car and they told me it would be 45 min but it turned into 2 hrs... when I called my insurance company back to tell them they haven't arrived they called them to figure out where the driver is... come to find out they were on the way but the roads were "flooded" so they couldn't make it through which is odd because it hasn't rained here in a week... The service I received was absolutely abysmal. The man who who came also brought his female friend who was clearly impaired by drugs and the whole time kept asking when she and the man were going to go to the hotel. Absolutely unprofessional. The man said he was going to check where the leak in the tire was and all he did was add air to the tire and never bothered to find the leak. Also when I requested that he put the spare tire on, he told me that it was impossible to do because the bolts were hammered in. This was very Interesting to me because my car is a 2018 and the tire are in great condition. Immediately after this bizarre encounter I drove to a tire shop and they told me there was no reason that the guy from roadside assistance couldn't change my tire. I think it is so important that action is taken because people call roadside assistance for emergencies and if this man is the help they are getting that is so sad. read more

Used allstate for roadside assistance which they scheduled Jack Rabbit towing to come help . The eta by allstate app was 45 minutes. At about 30 minutes waiting ingetba call from jack rabbit towing telling me it will be about 40 munutes. After 40 minutes, i call and they tell me it will be another 20 minutes . Car wont run and its cold and i have been waiting for 2 hours now . Very unprofessional . I do not recommend this service to anyone who needs roadside assistance . Keep looking because if you do not , you better have the ability to stay warm and expect to wait for a long time. Judging by other reviews i see a concerning pattern . read more

First let me say that I believe the roadside assistance guy was from this company. He had a Jack Rabbit Roadside Assistance logo on his shirt and had an 785 area code phone number. Hopefully I'm reviewing the right company... Anyways, I locked my keys in my car so I called my insurance for them to help get me roadside assistance. I work at KU, on campus, so I specifically asked if the 'locksmith' was familiar with campus so I could help him find the parking lot I was in. I mentioned I was in the lot between Green (the Law School) and Murphy, on the north side of the Allen Fieldhouse parking garage. He tells me he knows exactly where that's at and he's on his way. Awesome. Unfortunately, he goes to Lippincott (the old Green Hall/Law school) and calls me to tell me he's there. I tell him I'm not at Lippincott, that I'm at Green and he tells who ever he's talking to that I'm an idiot and have no idea where I'm at on campus. I'm sorry, but if I was at Lippincott, I would have said Lippincott! He finally finds me, pulls up and is a complete jerk - he's demanding and belittling. He does get my keys out of my car, while the alarm is going off and I grab them, he gets in his car and drives away. No 'Have a nice day' or anything - just a complete dick! If I didn't have insurance and needed to find help on my own, I would NEVER call this company for assistance. read more

Absolutely horrible! I called my insurance for roadside assistance and they sent Jack Rabbit USA to change a spare tire for me. I am literally nine months pregnant and on the side of the highway waiting when the guy shows up to change the tire 45 minutes later (it was 7 miles away). He attempts to take the Lugnuts off for about 20 seconds then looks at me and says I can't get these off, I can't help you and Then proceeds to get his car and literally drive off without any other help. I was floored by how terrible the service was and had to call another company to come change my blown tire for me. Hillcrest Wrecker showed up quickly and changed the tire by hand (no compressor gun needed) with no problem in less than 10 minutes. When I told Hillcrest Wrecker what happened he knew without me saying that it was Jack rabbit USA who did this and left me stranded. Completely poor service and didn't even offer to help find me somebody who could get the Lugnuts off and change my tire. I would NEVER RECOMMEND Jack Rabbit USA to ANYONE!!! read more
