Got off from work at 3:30am and unfortunately only places open at that time is jacks or McDonald's so I decided to stop here on my way home. I tried to place my order online because they had some online exclusive deals but it wouldn't go through... I can't blame it on the location since they don't have anything to do with the online ordering. Because I couldn't place it online I decide to just go to the drive thru and just order like normal. I place my order, everything went fine. Drove to the window and I am told that the system is rebooting so I would need to wait about 5 minutes. Small inconvenience but I tell them ok. Next thing you know the employees is arguing with the customer behind me over the PA system. I found it funny and just sat there and listened to their argument. I guess the customer had problems that they couldn't take his order and what not. Anyways the employees tells him she can even show picture if he didn't believe but they just kept going back and forth and eventually the employee tells him I won't be serving you and I'll be calling the cops. The employee then looks at me and shows her phone and tells me "if you guys don't believe, here. The system is rebooting" See... I had no issue, i said no word so do not include me in your argument with another customer. They just seemed unprofessional as a whole. There was more things about the employees that was unprofessional but it's just too much to type. Small inconvenience, arguing with another customer but to include me in it is where I draw the line. Employees are unprofessional, they are rude and they just had zero customer service skills. If you are looking for food at 4am I guess I would say go to a different location or McDonald's. Terrible employees at the village park one which surprised me because I used to go there often when I used to live just down the road. They used to have a younger lady that was very nice... now it's an older Filipino lady and a local young guy that just has zero customer service skills. Update: now I'm really annoyed. Finally got home and started eating just to find out it wasn't exactly what I ordered. If I would rate this 0 starts I would !!! Last night, around 1am, my boyfriend and I came to this specific Jack n the Box in Kunia, and they forgot our fries!! How unbelievable is that?! I was a regular to this jack in the box visiting at least 3x a week and I've always been very patient with the employees here specially the drive thru. Today was the final straw. The employees dont look happy here and dont look like they care about their job. Ive probably come to this location at least over 100x in the 2 years I've lived close by and not once do these people smile or care to remember what your preferences are. For example, 90% of the time im always ordering 2 meals with drinks. They always ask if I need a cup holder at the window even when they see im by myself in my car. It's like they hate putting together the cup holder. Mcdonalds never asks me. They just give me my 2 drinks in a cup holder already. A few times they gave me the cup holder unassembled and had me make it myself. They've forgotten things in my order a few times as well, and today I just couldn't take it anymore. After waiting in the drive thru 30 mins, I finally get my food and start driving home only to notice they didn't give me my drink as im pulling up to my home. I drove all the way back and went inside and told a younger dude they forgot my drink from the drive thru. He looked at my receipt. No apology. Gave me an empty cup and lid to get it myself. Just more "cant be bothered" mentality. Finally drove me to write a yelp review after 2 years of subpar service. Imagine my surprise when I see they're a rated below 2*. 12:31/25 11:20a - The drive thru line not moving so went inside to pick up my mobile order. It was the lunch hour so busy inside and outside. The male employee behind the counter found my order, which was being worked on, and kindly took my request for no-salt fries because the app did not have an option to customize. The no-salt fries were hot and crispy and Jumbo Jacks had custom stickers for the no pickles. The coke carbonation was just right. I usually come here frequently as I work night shifts, and this is the place that is open for a quick and decent meal. However today, the food was absolutely horrible and I will never come back. Working in the food and beverage myself, I understand that it gets busy, and I am patient. I ordered a chicken wrap meal with curly fries, and a soda meal with a side of eggrolls. I guess they never punch in the eggrolls or never hear me and i was upset but things happen. The drink lid was not secure, and leaked; then my fries was hot but was not it. It was refried/ splashed in oil, which made them very very crunchy and almost inedible. It looks like someone already ate part of my platter. The fries were extremely salty, the hash brown that came with my combo was overcooked. The girlscout shake seemed as if it wasn't stirred and was way to thick to drink through straw. Not much choices during the late hours in Hawaii anymore post Covid, and Jack in the Box had always been the go to late night munchie place. Every time we've come here, the past three times, 10pm, 9pm, and 11.30, no burgers are being served... only the fries... not even tacos, egg rolls or anything else. And the best part is you don't know that until you've already spent 30 minutes in the long line only to reach the ordering speaker and the rude person over the intercom tells you. Even though we like the food, we don't go to Jack in the Box very often because the service is really bad. This visit to the Kunia location was no exception . First, they don't acknowledge you when you come in. Then they ignore you when you're standing at the register to order. When we got there a man was already in the register area waiting. We asked him if he had ordered yet, he said no. I could see at least 3 workers and still no acknowledgement. I was telling my bf (in my indoor voice ) that it might be faster to use the drive thru and then bring the food inside so our grandson could eat. With all the options there are for "fast food" you would think establishments would want to serve you better so you come back. I got everything correct but the regular tiny tacos, instead I got the spicy tiny tacos. We already drove away on the freeway, so why not just try it. Lol it's not worth wasting my gas for it. If you love medium spiciness/ hot cheetos, I would recommend it with their buttermilk dipping sauce. It's a bit flimsy and oily and some crunch to it, so it's alright. I would rate it 6.5/10.
