As Halloween was approaching, I began to receive flyers from Jack-in-the-Box advertising their monster tacos and mummy-wrapped tacos. I was excited to see what all the hype was about, so I decided to stop by this Jack-in-the-Box to get some of these advertised items. As I approach this Jack-in-the-Box, I was pleased to see how well kept the grounds were and how well lit the Jack-in-the-Box signage was surrounding the building. I ordered their monster tacos and mummy-wrapped tacos along with a "witch please" shake and some French fries. The young lady that took my order was professional and friendly. As I waited for my order, I was pleased to see how clean the inside of the dining area was...In fact it was spotless! All the tables were wiped down and clean and all the seats were clean as well. Although the dining area was pleasant, it was not as well lit as I would've liked it to be. It was quite dark inside for a fast-food restaurant. My order took a little longer than I expected because there was a rush of customers that came in around dinner time, at the same time I did. Upon receiving my order, the cashier apologized for the wait. It wasn't too long of a wait considering how many people there were inside. When I got home, I was pleased to see everything that I had ordered in my to-go bag. Everything I ordered was good, however the tacos were not what I expected. Although the monster tacos and the mummy-wrapped tacos were delicious, they were certainly not filled as much as I thought they would be from the advertisement I received. I believe the staff at this Jack-in-the-Box can do a little better by being more generous when filling their tacos for their customers. Overall I had a good experience here, but I think there's room for improvement at this Jack-in-the-Box. If the dining area at this location was more illuminated inside and they were a little more generous in filling their tacos this would've been a five-star review for me. However, overall, I would still recommend stopping by here for a meal. read more

Stopped by this spot for convenience and there are soda options that are out of stock. I came in for this sole purpose...because I can get it myself. Do I call branches now to make sure they have soda options available? What's the reason to have this soda machine if things aren't available? This is bad. read more

Jack in the Box - Why aren't theae available / out of stock? - Fast Food Near Me - Simi Valley, California

rude employees!!!! they dont listen, talk over you and get pissed when you correct them. its saturdat 12/20 at 905am owner, check your schedule and fix the problem!!!! read more

This is the worst fast food place in town. They have fell so far off. I don't know why i try at all. I'm officially done. From getting spicy jack chicken with 2 small tenders inside to getting old dried up poppers to tonight with the greasiest chicken jr sando and $3.99 for 3 jalapeño poppers??? Y'all have lost your mind. They will no longer get my money. The one on Cochran is slightly better but this one has been just awful for the last few years. read more

Generally I try to not do the fast food thing that often. Of all the FF restaurants, JITB is one of my favorite options. This particular location isn't the nicest in town, which I forgot when I told Dear Hubby that I had a craving for a croissant breakfast sandwich. The location on Cochran and Madera is a better choice. This one is really sterile inside, by which I mean it lacks any discernable character in the decor. It's as though they don't want you to linger for a second longer than it takes you to wolf down your food. Also, I offered a friendly greeting to the cashier and she acted like she didn't hear me and just wanted to know what I wanted to order. Oh-kay. Since I am not eating dairy, I had to skip the cheese on my sandwich. Yep, there may (or may not) be butter in the croissant, but that's less obvious than a cheese slice. By asking to leave off the cheese, they also decided to leave off the mayo. I ended up with a dry croissant, with a paper thin slice of ham, two small tasteless pieces of bacon, and an overcooked egg. Pretty much lacking in flavor. Sheesh! From craving the normal flavor combo of the ingredients to ending up with a dry non-entity of a sandwich, it was disappointing. There was a promo on the receipt to tell them what you thought about your experience, but the code didn't work. Multiple strikes against that meal event. read more

Jack in the Box - Very basic interior. - Fast Food Near Me - Simi Valley, California

Went today and Leslie was rude. I stated my fries were not hot and tacos were not well done and she argued with me about the fries just being dropped and obviously they weren't just dropped. Fries were not even warm smh.... Worst customer service read more

I honestly don't give many reviews on fast food places. But this jack in the Box is definitely the worst location in Simi Valley . We sat in the drive through for over 20min with only 3 cars in front of us 1st mistake we made. Then my husband goes to order just a shake and ask if he can have a small glass of water, the guy charges us $2.79 for tap water yes tap water (get the heck out of here!!!) you gotta be kidding me. So we asked him to take it off. When we came to the window to get our shake, he had a very snarky attitude. I'm sorry but I'll be taking my business elsewhere. This location has gone downhill It's dirty and they are never fully staffed. read more

Great place to eat and pick up Delivery orders, Staff is overall friendly. would highly recommend to most.

I fail to see where all these 1 star reviews are coming from - haters, perhaps? We were @ Iceoplex on Saturday and game ended @ midnight. Jack was one of the few places open closeby, so we went. Order was perfect, quality of food was spot on (some Jack locs are messily prepared and bread is stale), staff was very friendly, and we drove away very happy. read more

They don't accept the coupons from snail mail. The other locations in Simi do. I know this one use to. Sure they accept app crap too. Staff was rude. Basically done with this location. My patronage is better appreciated at the other local spots. Good luck. I'm choosing to take my money somewhere else. :) read more

I designed to get a shake here and the old guy at the window called me a fatass in Spanish him and his co workers were all hovering over the window laughing after he said it like I don't inder them read more

So far this restaurant gets a five-star review from me for the only fact, that they do accept EBT at most every location that I have called. The only catch is you have to go inside to order. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. read more

The rudest drive thru workers in town. Specifically the heavier Hispanic woman that works nights. They have no respect for delivery drivers. They have a horrible attitude issue and get aggressive with drivers over going to the drive thru after hours. read more

Mary, messed up on my only meal that I had for the day, I order my food, two eggs, a buttery Jack bun, two slices of Swiss cheese and a grilled chicken patty. and, tomatoes, how hard is that ?they totally got my meal all messed up, I spent $35 on the total order. Everything else was okay, but my meal. when I approached the manager, she looked at me strange, I said I swear, I said, and I looked at her, and she stared at us. She looked at me as though I was an alien from outer space. read more

Yet again forgot stuff from my order 1am Friday oct.15 screw whoever was working that shift

To my surprize,I was greeted as I entered and the employee could see I haven't been here before. So she asked me if she could help me,I said ok. I ordered a special they have on the window.Double jack combo and also to my surprise. The burger was cooked right and most of all hot and delicious.Made to order.Good job. Now I've never been to this location not knowing how it looked before, however it has been remolded and for the most part for a fast food location it was comfortable. The floors where clean and tables and no debris on the floor. The cashier was friendly and polite.(Yvette) I told her don't loose that smile. Now something I observed was that a male employee that was making the burgers wasn't wearing any type of hairnets, caps or other suitable covering to confine all hair. I noted this remark, because No one is exempt from this practice.Must at all times wear hairnet and or a cap. So prior to me eating my burger,I checked it.It was fine.Last week,I found a piece of hair in my food.Because I took to go,there was nothing I could do or say. Now the hair that was in my food wasn't from here. 022/100. Yelp Challenge.(2016) read more

We had like 10+ item order and they didn't seem happy that they had to prepare that much. They were very rude.

Rosy or Roxy I believe she is a supervisor is so rude. I did a pick up, checked in to say I have arrived and she rudely said it's just been 30 seconds to basically wait. Employees have forgotten customer service and proper way to speak with customers. Also this location does not pack straws, you have to pick it up or miss it read more

THANK YOU CESAR! Even though it was late at night, you were friendly and seemed like you wanted to be there. Our order came out perfect. I always worry our order comes out stale and incorrect because employees who work late at night dont care and have no energy to fulfill our cravings properly but Cesar! Bravo! read more

Avoid at all costs! Kayla was very rude and just an all around miserable person. The other employees I encountered here were at least trying but she just hauled 2 buckets of ice back and forth. The cluck chicken sandwich was drier than the Mojave. I truly feel bad for the other employees who have to carry this dead weight around day in, day out. read more

Normally when paying at this location they are professional and very conscious of the Current pandemic and the reason I go to this location . When I asked Yanelli the reason for the change she first said " I can't hear you with that mask on" then said " Well.... I am touching all your food. Why does it matter?" WOW!!!! I have thrown my fries and soda out and microwaved my food . Might not go back to this place now. Sad to see read more

This is by far the worst customer service ever. I ordered 2 cheese burgers and they only gave me 1, 3 times in a row and went hungry cause of it, it's beyond frustrating because it's basic rudimentary instructions and they still f*ck it up after 3 times in a row. I'm pretty sure they've charged me for 2 all 3 times and only got 1. SMH. They have lost my business. Management won't do sh*t about it because they don't care. Period. Stay away from this place. read more

I went to this location the other day and went through the drive thru. when I went to pay the guy swiped my card and said "what is the pin?" I was like I'm not saying my pin can you just run it as credit? the worker said no that won't work can you just tell me your pin. He got a really irritated tone as if I was in the wrong. Under no circumstances should anyone ask for my pin to be said out loud. I asked him to pass me the machine so I could type it and he said very rudely "it's going to time out!" that has never happened to me. my brother said the same thing happened to him at this location today. idk what they are doing that for. read more

How awkward. Order a meal and 0 sauces no napkins no straw no anything. Like, egg rolls were in there... no sauce? Your tacos, no sauce? A milkshake no spoon or straw or anything. Okay, I have some ketchup left, I'll feel like garbage only hitting that but can't eat the rest. Maybe you've tasted dry Jack in the Box and know... This burger tastes stale as hell, though. What on earth is going on at this location? I'm just throwing out food and feeling guilty while I start to prep to cook; which I really really wanted to avoid today. read more

Forgot main part of the order, taco's. However gave plenty of taco sauce. Phone number on the receipt is not working, a tape only. The same number is on their web site. Botching the order, and no way to reach them. I guess I am out of luck. Occurre4ns Thursday, July 8th ,7 PM. read more

I always go through the drive up window and they take my order perfect and my food is always perfect too.

Ordered through drive thru 4/30 @ 1003pm and I received the BEST drive thru experience EVER. There was an older Asian lady working not sure if she was a manager, if not she should be, and she was so happy. Not sure if you've actually taken a chance to look around lately but ALOT of people are going thru depression due to this covid crisis, and I have to tell you.....that smile, body language, just amazing welcome I was greeted with, had more value the the food ordered or even the money I used to pay for it. I just want to say thank you for your service, for who you are, and for giving me an experience I'll never forget. Definitely telling my friends and fam about the great service. God bless you drive thru woman, and stay safe! read more

Order was placed in the drive thru and was given drinks from one person only to be given the food from another. When asked if the order was complete, was assured it was and then they walked away. When we got home the order didn't include the fries that were supposed to be part of the combo order. No receipt was given so there was no order number to call and tell the manager. When getting food from the drive thru I should be expected to dig thru the bag before leaving to assure someone has been mindful and thorough when completing my order. So at this time I've paid for something I never received. read more

Fuck this place! I was stranded with a flat tire @ 12:50 am. I was very hungry and walked to this location at least half a mile since it was the only thing opened. Jack in the Box is the best - too bad this location is quite often overrun by hobos, meth heads, and drug addicts. Stay in the car and avoid the riff raff that seems to ooze out from the railroad tracks. Other than that - this place is awesome! read more

It's a Jack in the Box, so you can't expect much.. but this one is showing its age. The facility is dirty and run down. It's often pretty dirty and full of sketchy characters. Not a place I'd suggest having a nice lunch with your kids. The employees are usually friendly, though, and there is a decent amount of parking. Overall, if you MUST clog your veins with Jack, I'd suggest the one at Cochran/Madera. This one is just not good. read more

It was 10:30 ish at night and I was going through the drive through. For some reason, the Apple Pay machine for drive through wasn't working so I had to go into the store to pay with card (since I didn't have cash). The night worker kindly opened up the store for me, which was already super nice of him... then as I walked up there were 2 creepy guys sitting outside right next to the door. Not only did he open the store for me, but he stood by the door and made sure I got in my car and drove off safely. Great service, excellent people. I really appreciate that nice man that made me feel safe. I don't know his name but he went above and beyond. read more
