But when I turn to go, I see the employees inside cleaning so I park and take my happy self inside to order. I don't say anything. I just know I'm upset because it takes me coming inside to order my food to get help. I show up this morning, wanting to speak to the manager. The employee working says no manager until 1130 or 10. And I've always been told the same thing that they're doing shift change and they have to close the entire place down because their system is down. Today is almost the same except that at least someone was sincere and straight up told me everyone is new and they don't know what they're doing. Thought to give them a shot one more time (it's been over a year since I've came back) since I've shared a neighborhood with them for around 30 years. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Last night 6/5/21 I sat in the drive-thru line for 5 minutes or so. Once I got up to the speaker to order chicken strip kids meal for my son and then tried to order a burger for us and was told "we are not serving burgers right now". Weird, right? So I asked why and a younger female told me that they are "not currently serving burgers right now because they are cleaning"... I was kind of dumbfounded by this. Once I inquired about why they can not make burgers because they are cleaning... the young female proceeded to tell me they were cleaning the grill and then thought that the microphone was off and started talk sh*t about me to her co-worker and then another female got on who was even more rude (didn't think was possible) and said "ma'am we are cleaning the grill and there are all these chemicals on the grill and you dont want to eat those".... ugh... *BTW I had just sat in the line at Taco Cabana next door for 5-7 minutes as well to only find out that their system went down, so I came to Jack in the Box as a last resort because it was late and need to get my kid to bed.* After all this rudeness I tried to not go off and asked if I could order some chicken then... and one of the rude females got on and said "uh... i guess so. what do you want?!".... seriously!?! I was so mad and frustrated. I told them "you know what?! never mind. I refuse to spend any more money here after being treated like this". they laughed as I drove away. I understand bad nights and you can't be nice to everyone... but this was multiple females there were both very disrespectful and rude! I know that Jack in the Box is "We don't make it until you order it", but today the wait was unacceptably long. It took 15 minutes from order to food for 2 snack pitas and a regular hamburger. The steak pita was fatty, with unappealing iceburg lettuce. The chicken in the chicken pita was fine, but again had the useless iceburg lettuce. The hamburger was so tiny in it's bun that all I could see was bun, at first I thought that they had forgotten to even put the meat in.
