Whoever was staffing after midnight on the 18th, was a very professional and accurate employee. The food was solid, fresh, and made exactly as my wife and I ordered. Why do fast food joints charge so much ice cream that has the texture of styrofoam. More importantly, why do I keep getting it? // Fries Best thing here. Hot, crispy, and salty--standard yum. Great with ketchup. // Coffee $2 coffee, not as expensive as starbucks, but twice as expensive as mcdonalds. He stopped me and told me that he couldn't hear me. I was a bit surprised because I have significant hearing loss and tend to talk loudly. I spoke louder and gave my order again. The cashier yelled, "F.U. You're yelling at me. Confused, I stated that I spoke louder because he complained that he couldn't hear me. "Well, F.U. you yelled at me." I drove to the window and asked his name. "F.U. I'm not giving you my name.". I tried to snap a photo of him. He slammed the window shut, gave me finger gestures with both hands and yelled, "F.U. I'm not taking your order." By this time, he had hurled six "F.U.s" and two fingers at me. All at a volume loud enough that everyone in the place heard it. I drove around, parked and walked in with my phone. The cashier had gone to the soda machine, opened it and tried to look busy. He turned around, looked at me and said, "I was working over here." Sure you were. I snapped a photo and looked for the manager. She was out. The next day, I went back and asked to speak to the manager. She was very nice, listened, took my name and number and told me she was going to call the regional manager. That evening I got a call from the regional manager. I explained what happened. He told me, "I'm not going to fire him. I'll talk to him." Really? You let your employees abuse customers like that? I checked a few days later and the guy was still working there. I can tell that every time I call them on the phone they declined my call and then I keep calling and they keep declining until I call and it goes all the way to voicemail and then I get cut off. They need to hire people that will answer the phones and not decline them. Super Unprofessional. I had a quick question and they felt they didn't have to answer the phone because they were lazy. Occasionally, it would say user busy and I would call again and it would go all the way to voicemail and then I would get cut off. This is not OK. I came to eat here as a tribute to good old days, and found out that the fries were served cold, and when I asked a freshly cooked fries they give more more of the cold stuff. I didn't want to be a jerk and argue at that time. The sourdough jack patty was cold and the Brest was smashed so bad it didn't even look like a sourdough bun. My wife ordered a popcorn chicken and french fries combo only to receive an extra fries but still all cold. Surprisingly they had five or six packages of eight each sweet-and-sour and ranch dressing which was completely overkill for the size of the order I feel bad for the owner who has to pay for all those sauces. We pulled up into the drive thru ready to order and before I could say anything the lady on the intercom told me that she was going to take her 30 minute break and to come back once she was done. I asked her kindly to repeat what she just said.. ( I couldn't believe what I just heard) With an attitude the lady repeated back to me that she was going to take her 30 minute break and by law she was entitled to take her break. She informed me that in California ALL Jack in the box restaurants only allowed two employees to work on site due to Covid. I asked if anyone one else could assist me because I had kids in the car who are hungry (plus a baby crying). Once again Rudely, she told me that she was going to take her break and to come back in 30 minutes when she was done. I couldn't believe it I was beyond upset and have never heard of such a thing. As I pulled up more to the front of the building I saw the woman sitting there with two other males. I decided to pull out my phone and as soon as the lady saw me she said something to the guy who sat there with her. This location has struggled a lot over the last two years. They seem to have more staff now, but they do not appear to have been trained very well. If you go to drive thru lane during lunch or dinner expect at least a 20-30+ min. wait. Today I waited 20 min. standing inside waiting for a mobile order. The food was cold (taco soggy) and my drink was short about 4oz. and had a lid that was too large for the cup, so of course it popped off ! I like Jacks food but the service is still terrible. Especially since no one said "thank you" or "have a nice day," etc. When I said "Thank You" they replied "ok". Poor service means terrible owner or management. I ordered through the app and it was ready by the time I was done waiting for the other patrons to finish in the drive thru. It was a positive experience except that the employees were not wearing gloves or masks which disgusted me. I had to sanitize all of my food when I got home. The repeated reaction was odd; " do you want a number 23 or 26? ( I think?) " I said without meat though. The girl at the window was laughing and interacting with a person in back I didn't think much about it at the time. When I took a bite , it was solid grease. I'm not sure if they picked out meat or added meat grease. Either way it was disgusting. I tried to contact corporate and was redirected to a website that malfunctioned each time I tried to complete the contact story. I am so disappointed and disgusted. Been to this location several times as it's the closest to my home. The food had been really good every time, however the customer service is HORRIBLE! I've only been through the drive through and they don't greet you at all, they just ask why you want in a lame monotone voice and try to get rid of you as fast as possible.
