Who doesn't love Jack's tacos? They're 2 for $1 and come in bags so greasy you can pretty much see through them. I dig this location. It's clean and easy to find - though that turn-off ramp sneaks up on you. Customer service was great - they brought our food to the table which normally doesn't happen at fast food joints so kudos for that. This Jack in the Box is horrible. They didn't have a lot of the items featured on the menu. The staff is rude, and unorganized. It only makes sense that it will be extremely busy on December 31st and it's obvious they're unprepared. Wait lines to order are long, and slow moving. Usually, I'm a pretty healthy eater and don't frequent fast food restaurants except on road trips. One of my road trip addictions for years has been the Sourdough Breakfast jack for breakfast and Sourdough Jack for lunch. Yesterday on the way back from OC to the Bay Area, I stopped here for a Breakfast Jack. First, pit stop in the restroom, which was filthy with trash cans overflowing and the stall i was in had no paper. Fortunately, an employee was in there cleaning, so she passed me some paper. then the paper towel dispenser was empty, but there was a big roll sitting on top of it, so no problem. And I figured the cleaner was going to make all this good. So then i went to order my Sourdough Breakfast Jack. It doesn't seem to be on the menu any more...there is a "grilled breakfast sandwich" and I'm told it's not sourdough bread, but it's bigger and you get it cut in half. You can still get the sourdough one, but it comes with ham, not bacon. Well, I wanted bacon, so I ordered the bigger one, figuring I could do without the sourdough bread...how much difference could it make, right? Made it clear that i wanted bacon, not ham. The picture showed bacon. Then when he gave me the total, it was quite a bit more than the listed price; seems they haven't updated their signs. I waited a REALLY long time for my food and while watching, I noticed the girl that had been cleaning the bathroom back in the kitchen handling food without gloves. I really, really was hoping that she had washed her hands!! And there was no way she could have cleaned that whole bathroom in that amount of time, so i wondered about that too. Everyone was moving as slow as molasses. The guy who served me was super sweet and nice, but really didn't seem to have much of a clue otherwise. Finally, my order came. Went to my car, unwrapped it, and discovered ham, not bacon. Disappointment. But not enough to go back in and wait another 15 minutes, so I just left. The sandwich was gross and I only ate half of it. The hash browns, which i usually love, weren't very crispy and were just saturated with grease and only lukewarm. Even the OJ was sour tasting. All in all, it was horrible enough that I am now DONE with Jack in the Box. No more. For lunch, it was Subway. Healthier choices anyway. read more

The line for the restroom was more than 15 people long for over 30 min they finished cleaning one bathroom and people entered without permission so we were going in as well but before we did one worker yelled at my 10 year old sister! Then went back to his coworker and said "these fucking people are going in the restroom" out loud. How rude! Not only that but then the lady he told went in the bathroom and moved the trash can and hit and old lady with a walker with it because "they shouldn't have been in there" what kind of place is this! I asked for their names and I'm sure they gave me fake names as well. But the names they came up with were jasmine and Daniel. Worst place ever they should be shut down or fired. I went here at 4 in the morning through the drive-thru on my way to work. They kinda took forever and there was a group of about 8-10 rats scurrying around the garbage bins. I told the lady about the rats but she apparently already knew about it. Seems odd that she was just cool with it. Anyway, the staff were polite and the food was pretty good. read more

We came here on January 5th coming back from a long trip. We came out of the fast food place and the women ran out of the store, even though it was pouring rain, and asked us "is your son autistic?" We answered yes, because he is. She gave him a bag of apples and said," these are for him, my son is autistic too, when I saw him, I knew" she told us to safe travels when she walked off. I have never seen a person so nice in that place and she was nice when she served us, and after we left the place. This is why I am giving this place a 4 star. Restroom was the most disgusting restroom I've ever been to - and trust me, I've been camping a number of time and I'd rather do that any day than use this restroom ever again. The bathrooms had hair in the sink, toilet paper was everywhere, nothing was stocked. We went to the front to order coffee. The woman at the registered looked at us, left to do something else, continued working on other things. Even the other employees just stared at us. Didn't ask for help. Wow. Probably one of the best customer service I've ever gotten at any kind of fast food place. On a drive down to LA, the boys decided to stop by the drive thru to pick up some food. The guy sounded so kind and polite, and even gave us his name. We were impressed already. He was very attentive and took our orders exactly how we wanted it. Offered us more than we asked. He, John, was the best Fast food worker ever! Seriously, I can barely get this kind of service and attitude at a regular restaurant nowadays. We stopped off the freeway on the way home back to sac and when we walked in all the tables were dirty and the trashes overflowing. We asked the cashiers very nicely if there was anyone around that could wipe down a table and they said they would get to it in a minute. Five minutes went by and we asked if we could just get a towel to wipe it down because no napkins were available to wipe it down. Horrible location!!! Bathrooms are disgustingly filthy. Worse than any other public bathroom you could possibly imagine. I clearly ordered 4 of the same combo number #28, yet the order was still rung up incorrectly as #24... they dont even sound the same - she had to erase the entire order and start over again. Waited 20 minutes for 4 sausage grande sriracha burritos - 20 minutes!! We saw 4 customers that came after us get their orders first. When we finally got our order, all of the fries were cold, and even though our burritos were hot, there was NO sriracha sauce in any of them. What a gip!!!! I don't even want to give this place one star because they aren't deserving of it . Horrible place. I went through the drive thru. The guy on the end of the speaker had my order wrong , twice , on the order board so I advised him it ways incorrect and he shouted I'm going fix it. Oh no!! I pulled up to the window and was greeted by a nice male and requested to speak with a manager. All the employee where wearing the same shirts and had name tags except the male that came to the window as the acting person in charge, he had a blue shirt and No NAme Tag. After speaking to him I realized He was the Rude male that spoke through the speaker. I asked him if he was the Manager and he said no he was the person in charge so when I asked for the managers name he said he couldn't give it out and when I asked for his name he said no he wasn't going to give it to me. Um I am not sure what's Going on there but clearly there are iSsues especially after reading the other yelp reviews. I did tell the man I will be taking this further, to corporate and hopefully something will come out of it. read more

We went here on our pit stop back to San Diego from San Jose. The location is nice. The service was as expected. The food was good.
