I would normally not write a review for a Jack in the Box, but have to warn the public about the food poisoning I got from the new breakfast burrito on 8/26/14. I could not work or be more than a few feet from the bathroom for 2 days. The first day was so bad, I considered calling an ambulance because there was no way I would have been able to drive myself to urgent care. I made a formal complaint on the corporate website and when someone finally returned my call, she said all she could offer was some store credit - to which I replied "I guess I could give them to homeless people." Restrooms dirty. Cashier (a big african american lady) had poor customer service. This place is only a last resort convenience stop because there's no other fastfood, unless you order Dennys to go. Tacos weren't fresh, so I asked for a refund. So the positive thing I can say, was that at least she said sorry. Whether it was sincere or not, I really don't know lol. Third time I left without making a purchase. Don't expect service unless you go through the drive thru. Waited 5 minutes at the counter. There was one gentleman in front of us and a couple behind us. No acknowledgement tried in vain to get the ASM attention before my husband stormed out. The drive thru shouldn't get a 100% of the staffs attention our money's just as good as the drive thru. Got ignored for 15 minutes while waiting to get our order taken. They left in the middle of taking our order. Straws and lids weren't stocked, so I had to wait another 10 minutes to get someone's attention to get those and they messed up half the orders. 0 stars if I could. read more

Horrible!! We went at 736 on a Saturday morning, it was moderately busy but not nearly busy enough to make us wait forty minutes for a simple order!! And after the wait they missed part of our order! It's about midnight and we pulled off of the highway to grab some food at this jack in the box and as soon as we pulled into the drive through there were tons of rats running around on the left side of us right next to the menu sign! Worst Fast Food stop ever!! First time in my life I've left from a fast food because of waiting soo long to be served! After waiting in line for more than 20 minutes and seeing how the fries were just cooling off for soo long and seeing many customers leaving from frustration it was invigorating. My sister had the last straw when we saw a drive through customer return with his food because it was cold and instead of remaking the order, an employee had decided to microwave it!!! There was at least half a dozen flies flying everywhere and we received no help at all for soo much time. Complete waste of time pit stop, they should close this place down. read more

This place is Nasty. The bathroom was extremely dirty. While I was in the restroom and female emplyee walks out of the bathroom after using the restroom and did NOT wash her hands. This absolutely has to be the worse Jack in the Box in California. Stopped by here because I thought it would be quick on a late nighter from LA. Biggest mistake ever. Despite no cars in the drive thru, it took 28 minutes to get my food. The girl at the window had no clue what I ordered. When I finally got my "coffee" it was like warm and tasted god awful. This kinda stuff just doesn't happen at McDonald's. Better off driving past this one. No wonder this place gets 1 Star from everyone. read more

Too bad I can't give negative stars. This place is just horrible. They had to shutdown the restaurant to catch up with the orders. The owner/corporate office needa to look into this place. The city should shut this place down.The managers just stood there and never offered any apology. The worst part is that the soda machine was being cleaned and roaches and flies came out of the area that holds the syrups. Not worth your time. We waited 45 min for food, order was not complete and in-correct. Facility was not clean by any means. The staff was just serving fries, tacos, and chicken nuggets that had been in the warmer for 45 min. We ordered a chicken bowl and after 30 min. staff informed me that they were out of the chicken bowl. I complained and ask for new fries, and tacos... I stated that not only myself, but the other 20 guests waiting in line deserved better then this. I told staff that I was going to call the health department and report this facility. Female staff member was just throwing food in fryers like it was trash. I'm extremely disappointed in this Jack in the Box. Someone in corporate better do something about this location. Otherwise, I'm afraid they might have more problems. Bathrooms were disgusting, we left and went to Denny's to use their restrooms. The only reason why you have high sells is because, people don't have any other choice. It's not because of great customer service, handling of food, temperature of food or cleanliness of facility. I have been stopping here off and on for 15 years on my way to Yosemite NP and in the past few years i have noticed the quality drop immensely. The dinning area is over run with flys, the ceiling above the registers appear to be on the verge of falling down, the bathroom had a horrible stench and there were mystery puddles and stains on the floor and walls. As for the food... they got all of our orders incorrect, one sandwich was only cooked 1/2 way (cooked on one side) and all three meals were cold. We didnt have any special orders and there was no confusion about what we wanted yet it still took almost 25 mins and we were served later than people that came in after we were already seated. To top it off we all had fairly awful upset stomachs within an hour of leaving. My recommendation is to go somewhere else and save yourself the game of russian roulette. Its very suprizing they havnt been shut down by the health or building or sanitation department, or had a lawsuit filed against them. My tradition of stopping there is officially over. read more

After having dinner at JITB in Lebec CA, I received a phonecall from the manager. Seemed I left my bag at the restaurant (with in it a brand new laptop and my passport!) I felt so stupid.. Since I was allready an hour further on my way up north, we agreed she would put my bag in the save so I could pick it up since I was passing Lebec again two days later, on my way south. This is what I call service! Without this bag and passport I would be in big trouble so this woman has my eternal gratitude. Thank god for honest people!! read more
