One word to describe this Jack location "consistent" because the food is always cold and not fresh it has that reheated or it's been sitting and it's old taste. The sodas always taste like the syrups are running out ... this location is consistently bad every single time! Ok so I'm rating a Jack in the Box, but I've haven't had one near me in three years. I'm obsessed with Chicken Fajita Pitas and Sour Dough Jacks and on our last trip down to Bellingham, this was a planned meal. Yes, service here isn't a warm fuzzy ball of friendliness, but your food does come out quickly and hot whether its in person or through the drive through. And that Sour Dough Jack was one of the best ones I've had in a while. I was temped to order a few more to take across the border as snack food. As far as everything else goes, this is a standard cookie cutter Jack in the box that you will see in most states on the West Coast. I will say that it was pretty clean. Very impressed with this location! Kinzie, the manager, took our order - she was so friendly, made us feel welcome, entertained our we're-from-Canada jokes, had no problem with all our questions, and was patient with our change counting. We were extra touched that they thought to give us extra trays so that we could more easily share our food. For some reason, we ordered a lot of chicken dishes - nuggets, strips, chicken burger - and they were all pretty tasty for fast food standards. Mini churros were decent too, if not a little chewy. This could be our go-to stop for American fast food before heading back to Vancouver. Right by the highway and Fred Meyer for some last minute shopping too. read more

While the food in total is fine the thing I hate about this place is it randomly closes when it should be open. Very annoying.

If i could give zero stars i would. This isn't a food review, as on multiple occasions now, I've been unable to order due to this location not adhering to their posted hours. Previously, i tried using the drive through around midnight, as their website states it is open 24 hours, only to find they closed at 11pm for staffing reasons. Today, i was walking by and wanted lunch, only to find that the dining room is closed, even though the hours listed outside the door say open from 6am - 10pm. The drive though is open however. This doesn't sound like a staffing issue, they just didn't want the hassle of dealing with people inside the restaurant. Why you wouldn't have your dining room open at noon on a Sunday is beyond me. I'm definitely turned off by my recent experiences, and i wont be going back to this or any other location read more

Came here for some breakfast. Parking is available in the nice large lot. Land must be cheap here as this place is literally surrounded by a forest. Their claim to fame here? This really toasty fireplace on the side of the seating area. Doesn't make the place feel any more like a living room (due to the cafeteria-like furniture), but the One thing that seems to have changed is that they now list the calorie content of all items, right on the menu board. Good in the way you now can now calculate how fat you'll get. Bad when you realize your breakfast combo contains over 1000 calories. Holy crap. Service is decent, with a very helpful lady behind the counter. And of course, my sandwich delivered. Not just taste, but of course in the fattiness department. I don't eat here often, but After what happened this past Thursday I had to review. While waiting for my order I saw a adult man get out of his car and he was yelling/ verbally attacking the person working the drive thru. I write this review because of what happened next. The fact that face to face interactions have gone to screen to screen, the man before me yelling and working while there's a global pandemic I was expecting a to have the same experience as the angry guy. I pull up and it was a wait but nothing that would get me to leave my car and yell at a young woman, who I'm sure isn't getting paid enough to work at during this COVID19 pandemic. She provided outstanding customer service, and the reason why I stopped going was because of a bad experience years ago. I had to get the name of the woman working and asked " how do you deal with customers like that?" She replied " being kind to one another is what will get us through this." I was blown away. I grab my food and asked her name she smiled and said "Maritza!"(hope I spelled it right). I didn't know I would get food for my hunger and food for though. Maritza thank you. So I've been going here recently because the Sunset Drive location keeps running out of coffee, but each time I have the same experience. Disappointed, is an understatement. The service is crap. Each time I have to pull around and wait out front for my drive thru order. Today I thought I'd order off the app, it said order ready in 7-10 minutes, I arrived in 7-10 minutes and was told I was being prepared and to pull around front. I don't think I've waited less than 15 minutes after pulling around. All that could be potentially forgivable if not for the fact that the coffee was lukewarm and there were less than 10 ounces in my large cup. I could stick my whole thumb in and not touch the coffee. That's like 2-1/4" of space in a large coffee. And the loaded breakfast sandwich was also not right. It was hot and cold at the same time. Cheese wasn't melting, some layers were lukewarm, some hot, and some room temperature. It was as if each layer were made separately and added to the sandwich as the next layer was being prepared. This is the worst jack in the box. No one in line no one inside. Yet they still make u pull around the front for a single breakfast burrito?! And don't get me started on every order is always wrong. I don't even leave the parking lot anymore. They wear attire that's not even jack in the box. They have trouble with communication it seems. The owners could be making more money, but people don't like to order to much Bec it gets complicated and screwed up. It seems like theirs no manager. And they do whatever the heck they like in there. If I was the owner, I'd be getting my hands dirty and make sure cold fries stop getting delivered and everything gets on a productive schedule. Worst drive thru experience ever. Took almost an hour from start to finish with about 5 cars in front of us. Waited 40 minutes just to get to the order station. Waited another 10-15 minutes to order and finally had to ask if anyone was still there, to which they replied and took our order. So terribly managed. Dining area was closed. Staff didn't apologize for the wait or anything. At least the food was what we ordered. read more

I normally like Jack-in-the-Box; however, the food at this location was haphazardly thrown together, but what was even worse was the behavior of the male employees. They were loud, obnoxious, cussing loudly. If they were my employees, I would fire each and every one of them. They are an embarrassment to the franchise and the franchisee. The date is Sept 6, 2021 and the tine is 9:00 PM. I had to get up and talk to them. Employees cannot be allowed to behave in such a juvenile and unprofessional manner. They are ok, when It's after 10pm and Dairy Queen isn't an option. A lot of my friends like jack in the box so I've tried them multiple times, problem is, every time I come to this one, there id some BS. This most recent visit I ordered a burger and fries, and they were out of change. It would be a big deal, but it was 75 cents which is 3 quarters! And they said, sorry we can't give you change. This isn't some 5-year old's lemonade stand, this is a massive business franchise... figure it out. If you can't provide change then TELL ME THAT AHEAD OF TIME, and I will pay with card. It's a rare occasion when we eat fast food; and today was one of the times when we needed to. My girlfriend and I stopped at Jack In the Box on Bakerview to pick up two burgers and fries. The customer service was plain and blunt. We haven't been greeted nor people that work there had a smile on. They just said the total price, gave us a bag with food and closed the window. That's pretty bad customer service if you ask me. Burgers itself were plain too. It seemed like they didn't care about its quality and just slammed vegetables on top of each other. Even two pieces of tomatoes were on each other on the side of the burger. It tasted "meh" and didn't feel fresh. Fries were not full and had some curly fries in it ~ which didn't make sense. I spent $10 yesterday on a spicy chicken sandwich combo, only to get home and have a hamburger and cold weak fries in the bag . At this point, I kept my cool and contacted the store, someone took my FIRST & LAST name and told me it would be credited next time I came through. Upon arriving at the drive thru tonight with receipt in hand, the first voice tells me to come to the window , where I am then greeted by a rude, aggressive female manager who is questioning me and "Why do you think you should have the whole combo remade just because we messed up the sandwich and fries.". Then she lets me know how many people come through trying to get free food and insinuating that's what the situation with me was too. Flabbergasted, I let her know how asinine her customer service skills were. I'm currently in the same industry, I would've been written up for even pulling half that shit !! I cannot wait till the day computers take your job that you feel you deserve $15 an hour for. PS- Even with the receipt reading my order correctly, she still smothered it with cheese JUST to spite a customer who had his order messed up. And gave no drink with the combo , because hey! I ordered the #3 combo again last Monday morning at 9am. I requested sliced jalapeños to be added to the sourdough Jack sandwich. When I received the order, I asked why jalapeños were not added? The employee stated that they are out of jalapeños. I asked why didn't you tell me when the sandwich was being made or when I placed the order? She just shrugged her shoulders with no reply. The employees were too lazy to cook fresh fries for my order....disgusting. Plus some people could have food allergies and can't have the curly fries or onion rings because of the batter being used....but the employee shoves the bottom of the barrel mixture into my order....disgusting and reckless. As I mentioned earlier, this same order I placed just 2 weeks earlier was also prepared completely incorrect. The only item that was correct was the medium Dr. Pepper. This #3 medium combo meal is close to $13 and for that all I got was disgusting incorrect and cold food. I won't be returning to this Jack again....5 Guys is just across the street and a much higher quality...oh and they make plenty of hot fresh fries. As with any fast food restaurant, some times things don't go too well. Employees are often over worked and underpaid and tired and they make mistakes. This last time I was in I went through the drive thru and ordered the 4 for 4 which is a great deal but it was very difficult to do so because the person working the drive thru didn't listen to what I was saying at all. I don't know if things were just stressful inside or if she just didn't care for a little while but it shouldn't have been so difficult to order. Nonetheless I got my order and it was correct. My order of curly fries was a bit cold but being a fast food worker myself, I've grown used to having what's available so it didn't bother me much. Stopped by here for breakfast en route to the airport. There was no line when we got there and we were helped right away. It's tough though when you make a request or a statement and the staff look at you like you are from Mars as opposed to trying to help you figure out what you want. For example. I'm from Canada but live on the border. You wouldn't think that there would be much difference a mere 20 miles away from home. I asked the cashier for a medium coffee double double. When she gave me a blank stare I shuddered and said, oh, sorry... a medium coffee two and two. Again a blank stare was shot my direction. I said, oh uhhh... a medium coffee two creams and two sugars. She then gave me a look as if I were stupid or something and got me the coffee. I didn't say anything else, no reaction other than a smile. My dad asked what kind of meat was in the burrito, she said that there was, "like, sausage". At that point we just gave up and sat down until our order came out. It's the little things, you know. The ability to help the people that don't necessarily frequent your establishment goes a long way to retaining customers. So yeah, the food was fast food. It was decent. A friend and I went here on 8/20/2014 for dinner around 5:45pm. Three women were working,one working drive-thru., one at the fry station and one working burger station. We were there for a good three minutes and another customer walked in all this time and ABSOLUTELY NO knowledge from any one that was working.
