I went here because this place had good reviews, but I have absolutely no idea why. I had the worst, saddest crispy tacos of my entire life, and some little tube they called a crispy burrito which doesn't even slightly resemble a burrito. Think a small taquito of mourning. Service was fine, but the food is very overpriced flavorless trash. It's Mexican food in the same way that Olive Garden is Italian, i.e. not even within a hundred country miles. If you are somehow excited about overpriced food that is shaped like a tube or clamshell, but chronically afraid of it tasting like anything, this is an even better bet than Taco Hell, but if you respect your mouth or stomach, stay the heck away. read more

Had not been to TT in a couple of years. Needed a quick dinner. Ordered online and pickup was fast and easy. But the food is totally dull and tasteless. (Even my habernero soft taco was that way.) Went to couple of their cheaper competitors and those still had their dining rooms closed, but not Taco Time! Inside looks really new, don't know if this is a new restaurant here but I would almost eat off the floor. Everything is in good repair, bathroom wasn't as sparkly yet still very clean. The food is typical Taco Time food going up with Creepy Joe's inflation. Still overall a good value I think. The quality is as good as any other Two Time have been too, extremely consistent. my first visit to taco time: The good; quick service, no lines, place was new & clean. Menu has a good selection, but not always intuitively obvious. The portions are large, i got a habanero burrito (beef) and a crunchy burrito (think over sized taquito) - i couldn't finish both. The interesting; A "natural" taco means made with whole wheat tortilla. Having spent a good amount of time in southern california- i never would have guessed. The not so good: The prices are more on the upper end, so i struggled with taste / consistency of the "beef" in the burrito. 1st, my fault, i expected shredded beef (or i would have gotten the chicken), it tasted/laid on the tongue - like finely ground hamburger with a grit consistency of vegetable protein. no beef flavor. Well if your looking for authentic Mexican food I'd keep cruising but if you want a quick Mexican type snack then this is the spot for you. Now the fried burrito is not a burrito it's actually a taquito which was a disappointment from what I was expecting. Unless the staff screwed up our order ? The soft shell burrito was huge and pretty tasty so no complaints in that regard. The food is pretty much what you'd expect at a Taco Bell fast food joint. I went through the drive through so not sure what the inside was like. The service was pretty quick and from the little window were you could see the kitchen. By far the best T time in Bellingham. They make what you ask for quickly, and are the nicest most accommodating staff. I recommend, if driving N on I-5 to hit this one, over Samish. For some reason when I ask for the included extras at Samish, I don't get them. read more

I'm going to start this with... I'm a Californian. We wanted to try this Taco Time place that we've only ever seen driving through Bellingham. Today was the day. Since Costco across the street pulled the plug on our beloved polish dogs... here we were. Upon entering, my first thought was "this place reminds me of Chipotle". It was nice, clean, and not quite like your typical fast food joint. We got in line and we're scanning the menu they had displayed on the wall. We kept laughing out loud because we couldn't figure out why it would say "taco" and have a photo of what was obviously a burrito. Also it would say "crispy burrito" and have a photo of a taquito... we honestly thought this was a WA thing... so I asked the friendly guy at the register. Nope, not a WA thing... just a Taco Time thing. LOL! I ordered the beef combo burrito meal. $10... *Beef burrito 2.5/5 stars... Wasn't a fan of the beef. It was basically a more "fresh" version of what you'd get at Taco Bell. With quac, so more pricey. *Mexi Fries 5/5 stars... why are these called fries? They are tater tots. Why are they mexi? They're just regular tots. I probably won't be back. If I want fast faux mexican food, I'll go to Taco Bell... for cheaper food. I try to be supportive of all local businesses... but this wasn't my jam. read more

Beautiful new store! I have been to this new location a few times since their opening on June 20th. So far so good, well organized, sparkly clean restrooms, ample parking, even a fireplace for winter. I was pleasantly surprised to find them open on the Fourth and was the first customer today. They are located on Arctic Way right next to Costco and across from Fred Meyer. I haven't visited when they have been too busy, so that could be a potential challenge with this location, they are sure to be high-volume right next door to Costo. Hopefully the customer service won't suffer. I've always had excellent service at any location. There seems to be solid management here, so hopefully all will be good. The only thing I miss about Taco Time are those delicious ice cream treats (choco tacos) with a wafer cone in the shape of a taco and ice cream inside and held together with chocolate. When I moved to Washington not too long ago, I was really curious about Taco Time, as I probably saw over a dozen of them advertised on the drive up from California. When I finally settled in, I was having burrito withdrawals (I used to get a burrito like 2-3x a week when I lived in CA), so I went out on a whim and decided to try Taco Time. STRAIGHT UP, I am SHOCKED at how good their Classic Veggie burrito is. I thought, for sure, I wasn't going to be able to find a half-decent burrito anywhere, but I was mistaken. Their guacamole is actually better than most Mexican restaurants I used to eat at. Their rice is perfectly seasoned, and I like that they have cabbage and pumpkin seeds in the burrito. Initially, I was a little weirded out upon hearing that the burritos came with pumpkin seeds, but when I tried it I actually loved the subtle nuttiness that the seeds added to the rest of the solid flavor pallet. The only thing I would improve at Taco Time is their salsa, which I believe they refer to as "hot sauce." It's a little too tomato-like for my preference (extremely mild), but otherwise it's a great chain! Stoked that I have a place to get quality burritos for a great price when the craving hits. Also, the people that work there are really friendly and helpful, especially if you want clarification on what an item contains or if you're unsure of what to get. read more

This has to be the most modern, updated taco time my family has been too! Not only was the decor updated and modern, but staff (especially Parker) went above and beyond what i would consider great customer service skill. Food was the usual Taco Time quality and price, there was no differentiator. This review is specifically for the decor and the service received. There was a mobility challenged older lady at the til when we went up, and usually at fast food places, we see cashiers trying to rush clients through to get them to pay. In this case, Parker treated this lady with a very high level of respect by taking the time to listen to her order and making sure it was fully correct before processing. My family and i were the only ones behind so we didnt mind waiting an extra few minutes and it was very refreshing to see. The second incident was when the lady was leaving and had difficulty leaving the restaurant through the doors (her scooter was just too hard for her to maneouver), so i went over and helped her out through the doors. Parker actually took the time to come over and thank me for helping her out, as he was tied up on the till and couldn't leave to assist. Again, for him to come over and thank me for doing (what i consider to be common courtesy), really shows the type of person Parker is. I'll definitely be back to this TacoTime 100% because of Parker and his exemplary level of compassion and caring. Sooooooo addictingly amazing! A little pricey but worth it! Try the fish taco---sooo good. Hubby brings me them whenever I've had really bad days. Food takes a little longer than other "fast food" but you get fresh made to order food that supports local farmers and ranchers. Going here is a win-win-yum!!! read more

Just tried out the new Taco Time by Costco. It is the nicest one I have ever been to. It looks quite small from the outside but it is really spacious and a lot bigger then I thought inside. They have an indoor-outdoor fireplace that goes to an outdoor seating area. There are outlets at every seating area that also have USB ports which are really cool, don't think I have seen that in a fast food place before. It felt like a casual dining place for me and not just a fast food joint. I love that they bring your food to the table and you don't have to stand there and wait for them to call your name which is sometimes embarrassing for me anyways ha. I love that they have booths to sit in and there was a nice little seating area in the front where you first walk in that was hidden from the rest of the seating. It's a nice place to sit for people like me that have social anxiety. The really have a great staff here as well. I noticed the guy taking orders his name was Kevin really went out of his way to be a great employee and make sure everyone has an excellent experience. I could really tell that he loves his job. It's really nice to see that in a customer service job. He even came to check and see how we were doing and if the food was good. Not what you normally see in a fast food joint. I was very impressed with this Taco Time. I hope to see the same in the new one opening in Ferndale soon. read more

My husband and I went to this taco time on a day that hadn't been going too well. Let me tell you this was the bright spot in our day. I ordered bean and cheese burritos and my husband ordered tacos which came looking like burritos. They were all so good. They were a meal in itself each one so had more than one night feast off of it. My husband likes to get mexi fries and yes I agree they r just tater tots but somehow they just work. I love good authentic Mexican food. Lived in California years ago and when I go to visit it's the first thing we have when I get there. Going to this taco time was a good old familiar feeling of hell yes this stuff actually tastes like what I have when I go down south. My husband and I wondered why at first it was so much for 4 burritos and Mexi fries but when you open them up and see all what's in those burritos and tacos it's a great deal. Wow! What a great quality brand! I've never visited a taco time till I was visiting Bellingham and staying at a nearby hotel. I ordered a shrimp taco, bowl of soup. The shrimp taco was delicious and the soup was hearty and packed with protein! The staff at this location were friendly and accommodating and I had a great experience! read more
