Great quality food for price. Burritos are large and could easily be split into two servings. Just went to the in-store location rather than ordering from off-site popups like the one on Westerns Campus and was impressed. Horchata has always been consistent and on the sweeter side. It was a bit loud inside but the service was quick and kind. Offers bench seating and some tables. Fun mural on an inside wall. Glad I've stopped by and will likely go to Burrito King first if I want a large portion for reasonable price. read more

We have driven by Burrito King several times, and finally decided to try it, and we are so glad we did. Now we have a new favorite in Bellingham. I had the Chicken Burrito, and it was so good, very flavorful, just the right amount of spicy, and way under $10. Plus I got three meals out of it. My partner had the Vegetarian Burrito, and hers was equally as awesome. The service was fast considering we went during lunch hour, and our burritos were both served very hot. I could have used more of the green salsa, it was yummy and the to go cups are very small. We will return soon! read more

Every time I go here I always feel bad, not because of the food or service. But because I'm always ordering the same thing and never giving the other stuff on the menu some love. Their asada fries and California burritos never fail to disappoint always leaving me satisfied . The staff are so friendly and they'll always pretty quick with whipping up your order. Just bummed I'm moving further away now but I'm totally willing to come drive out just to treat myself here. read more

As someone who lived in LA and Texas, I hear a lot of grievances about "real" Mexican. Pues...This place has an amazing wet burrito. The sauce is delicious, sharp, and full of flavor. The burrito is packed full of wonderful ingredients and for those that are like "potatoes in a burrito"??? Y'all realize potatoes are indigenous to the Americas. Burritos check out with all the options: Veg comes with guac, meats, fries on the California. The crunchy chips and spicy, chunky salsa are fresh. The burritos came with squeeze bottles of mild green and spicier red salsas. The asada had a nice grilled touch of smoke. Really decent value. read more

Something about their quesadillas are very addicting. They're packed with extras, and full of flavor. They also come with beans and rice, so I am never left hungry. Very affordable too! It can take a while for food to be ready, and the staff is hit or miss. It is apparent in the quality of the food when I get the B-Team. read more

Finally!!! I have been here in Bham for about four years now and came across Burrito King, in their truck about a year ago. They now have solid locations! Review for their Vendor's Row location on WWU's Campus. First of all their prices are $1 cheaper at the stand! I absolutely loved my taco salad. Very fresh and SPICY :) There is always a long line for their yummy, gigantic burritos around lunch time. My friend has gotten many burritos from them and she says they're really good! We had the asada fries, mulitas, and enchiladas. All were fantastic. Rich in flavor, great portion sizes, and by far the best Mexican food I've had in Bellingham. Do not come here for food prior to closing (about 30 minutes before) because all of the ingredients will be cold. They microwave the food but the problem is, the tortillas will be dried out and hard. They will not taste good. However, the establishment may be more willing to pile on the ingredients to compensate. read more

I decided to try this place after reading the nice reviews. It definitely did not live up to the positive comments. Ordered a veggie burrito which was cold, downright soggy, and didn't hold together at all-- contents just dripped out of the poorly wrapped tortilla. To make matters worse, it was totally flavorless. Even the cheese was flavorless; I'd at least like to feel like I'm eating some tasty junk food if I'm going to eat at a place like this. Service was friendly. I met a man outside Cash & Carry, filling his van with jalapenos, avocados, onions and cilantro, so of course I asked if he had a restaurant. . . Two days later, when I walked in, Rueben greeted me with a big smile and said "You came!!" Chicken was boiling on the stove, while a staff member chopped fresh vegetables in full view of the four or five tables. This little restaurant allows Rueben to cook for his vendor's row business up at WWU's campus - which I would guess is tremendously popular with students. My daughter pronounced her chicken torta 'the best in Bellingham'. Chicken enchiladas and tacos were also excellent. Everything was fresh and flavorful and the guacamole was perfect - chunky, bright green and a little spicy. Prices were great - I think each dish was in the $5-$7 range and generous. If you are drunk, hungover or hungry this is the place for you. Everything is pretty cheap, you should be full for about $6 after taxes. The food is more authentic then your normal Mexican restaurant, everything is fresh and made right there in front of you. If you're hungover their breakfast burrito is a godsend, I'm not sure what's in it, my guess is egg and magic. It makes the sun kind to your eyes again, the pounding in your head more of a tapping and your regrets... well they can't fix those but at least you'll be full. The rest of their stuff is fantastic as well, definitely try their lunch burrito with steak, it's one of my favorites. Really the only downside is their isn't a huge area to sit so it's not great for large groups. It's not a destination spot though so it kind of works out alright. read more

Honestly, I wasn't that impressed. I was excited to find a place that served breakfast burritos, as they're hard to find. I was friendly greeted when walked in, but the person who took my order didn't understand what I wanted despite repeating several times, and still got my order wrong in several different ways--I was served the wrong kind of tortilla, the wrong kind of chile, and there was an unwanted item in my order. As a vegetarian, the WORST thing you can do is serve someone meat!!!! I ordered cheese enchiladas to go and got back to work and bit into gross chunks of pork. I went to Burrito King probably three times every week for a few months when I was attending university. Definitely one of my favorite, go-to spots. Great pricing and extremely friendly staff. I came to know the employees well and they were all very polite and efficient. My food was always prepared with quickness while maintaining quality. First of all, let me just say how disappointed I am as a regular to come here and get treated badly by the employees who have no manners or respect for their customers. Their food is very inconsistent and if they make a mistake there is a strong chance they might spit in your food. The two female employees who are usually working have terrible attitudes and will speak in Spanish if there is an issue. Mind you, I speak more than one language and I NEVER disrespect the customers that I deal with on a daily basis by speaking in another language to make them feel uncomfortable and seeming dishonest. The past 5 times we have went here they have messed up the order. Today we ordered two burritos and were given one but charged for two. If you sub anything out or have any allergies, this is not the place for you. My fiancé has an allergy to sour cream and the past 5 times they have made them with sour cream. I normally do not leave bad reviews, but I am extremely disappointed in the behavior that continues here. Don't ask to speak to the manager because they won't give you any information regarding the manager or owner. After coming here for 10 months I will never eat here again! read more

We were craving burritos tonight and most of the taco trucks are closed on Sundays so I thought we would give this a try given the reviews. There was absolutely zero salt or flavor in the side of beans we ordered and the burritos were rolled weird so that bean and rice were on one end and the pork was on the other.
