The food was ok. The customer service was nonexistent. You stand awkwardly at the window being ignored by the woman inside standing a foot away and facing you. A simple "hi, be right with you" is apparently too difficult while she is taping up a bag of chips. Instead, when she deigns to acknowledge you, it is "are you ready?" I was afraid something bad would happen to my food if I didn't tip. I didn't order more even when we were still hungry and I will never return. Times are tough for everyone and we make choices with our dollars. I want my dollars to go to families and businesses who can at least pretend to appreciate their customers. Your food is good, and I'm sure it's hard work, but a little "nice" goes a long, long way. This place reflects really poorly on Stemma, too. read more

My husband and I were the only people there, but the employee at the window never greeted us or acknowledged we were waiting. After standing there for a few minutes hoping to place an order, we decided to take our business elsewhere. This is a food truck next to another food truck next to an outdoor patio next to a beer garden, I can be wrong on the later, and next to hwy 5 with a very tough to parking situation as it's in an industrial area with limited parking. I had a burrito to-go and the tortilla was the highlight (so chewy and fresh), the fillings were flavoured beautifully. One minor issue and I don't get this issue often as an on- the- go burrito lover is the filling of rice in several spots was just rice for many bites. Worth returning, however there are many Mexican places in Bellingham still needs crossing off. Another positive is they take CC. read more

I ordered pickup and decided that I will probably only order if I'm at the brewery. They got the order wrong and I didn't see until I was home. Chips and Guac, no guac. Kids meal, no rice and beans. The food we did get was ok. Burrito was fine but the carne asada tacos were dry. No salsa was offered at pickup. read more

Wow. I don't write many reviews, but everyone should try the spectacular food here. Currently nestled behind Stemma West, do yourself a favor and find this truck! Pleasant conversation and caring service, bringing your food to you after it's crafted into the taproom. I'm a vegetarian and their mole veg burrito is one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. My wife and son relished the casa birria tacos, complimenting the succulent beef and savory birria sauce. We'll continue to enjoy this gem as often as we can! read more

I wasn't aware of this taco truck until I stumbled upon it and I am so glad I did! From the moment we walked up to the truck the lady that greeted us was very kind! The pictures of the food doesn't do justice. It was so flavorful and so filling! I can tell the difference from other taco trucks and this one is by far one of the best I've tasted in town! It's a little pricier than other taco trucks but the delicious taste is worth it. Both ladies serving were very kind and made us feel very welcome. We were there within the hour of closing may I add and ordered a few meals and the service was still lovely. We can't wait to go back! read more

I enjoyed some carnita and birrira tacos here while visiting Stemma brewing. The tacos were affordable at a little over $3/taco, translating into a filling meal under $10. Service was prompt even on a busy Friday night, and they cleverly utilized those restaurant buzzers so that you could roam around or go back to your table inside without awkwardly waiting for your name to be called. The 1 star deduction is because I found the tacos a bit liquid-y - while I know birria can be inherently soupy, leaking some sauce with each bite was a bit off-putting. Otherwise, I have no complaints with the food or service. Definitely give this place a go, with or without some beers! read more

Part of what makes Stemma a great brewery is the positively delicious taco truck on site. It's there all the time and rarely closed, so imagine my surprise when I showed up and it was a DIFFERENT truck! This truck has minimal signage aside from the Stemma cat on the hood, so I knew that this somewhat joint venture had to be good. Let me tell you, Tepozteco is just as good as the original, and the service is even faster (if you can believe it). They also had quesabirria, which isn't something I've ever tried in the past, and it was fantastic. While nachos weren't on the menu, she still made them for me and they were super tasty! She even gave me the pico and guac on the side. It's a taco truck, so things aren't as expensive as a restaurant. Quesabirria and nachos cost me $30 with tip, but it can still be a spendy night if you are buying a lot of food. The good thing is, you won't be hungry! Portions are generous, it's convenient, and I love supporting a woman-owned, local venture! read more

I'm sorry but although the food is average the service here is consistently bad. Multiple times I have had to wait an inordinate amount of time for a sub par meal that has often been wrong or comes out cold. I've ordered food here for my kids and food for me from another food truck and I've gotten my food and been 1/2 way done eating before my kids get their food. Last night paid $25 for three tacos, side of beans and rice and chips and guacamole and it was completely cold since they forgot to buzz us. When my husband went to complain they scraped the beans off the plate and put new ones on but at first didn't even offer. It's generally not hard to screw up a burrito or tacos but somehow they manage to consistently mess up orders. I don't generally leave bad reviews and when they were new I just thought they needed to work out the kinks but will not be spending any more money here in the future . read more

I literally got a burrito that had some beans, little bit of rice, lots and lots of lettuce and hardly any meat. Service was good. If I order a carne asana burrito I want meat. Alejandra and her crew have quickly solidified my choice for favorite Mexican food truck in Bellingham! I've now had two meals from them while sipping a delicious beer at Stemma Brewing, and I couldn't be happier with the food, customer service, and overall experience. The first thing I tried was a torta, a nostalgic thing for me because I grew up eating them weekly in South-Central Mexico. The bread was just right, crispy and delicious, and the filling was so delicious. Both the carne asada and pastor were flavorful and had just the right amount of juiciness, while the guacamole and asadera cheese rounded things out. The cherry on top was the red salsa, which I can't get enough of. The second meal I got was a plate of tacos, a mixture of carne asada and birria. Both were excellent with just a squeeze of lime and this time a mixture of both the red and green salsas. However the birria was the real standout, with melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and so much delicious flavor. I'll be back for more as soon as I can. I'm very impressed with the care that the Tepozteco crew puts into their food and service, and I hope they're around for a long time. Highly recommended! read more

Overall great experience! I had the asada burrito and it was delicious - not just a basic rice, beans, meat burrito. It was about $9 and came with salsa. Not to mention the service was great and the wait was not too long. I appreciated how they utilized their buzzers so I could wait in my car or go inside at Stemma. I would go there again! read more

We reached out a couple weeks ago in anticipation for an event we were doing to order 60 tacos on platters and they not only killed it but brought the food out ASAP when needed so it was fresh for our guests and all we heard from everyone at our event was that the food was amazing and that they'll definitely remember that truck. I got a torta de asada and it was soooo good! The bread was crisp and not soggy and the guacamole was special touch. Honestly, just try it and they won't disappoint. The atmosphere was perfect also.
