Service was speedy, probably why the cheese wouldnt melt. Ambiance was quiet for the most part except for the abnormally high rate of peoole coming in, to take shits, and thats it. Worst thing is, it was my Mama's (she only wanted one bite) as we met real quick because we had not seen each other in some time because of schedules and ya know life and shit. I came at 10:30pm and the lady that was mopping the floor told me they were closed, and to walk through the drive the thru, when I walked to the drive thru window she looked at me and walked away I was standing there for 30mins with three cars behind me, and she did not help or take my order, if the hours are from 6am-12am then be open at those hours. read more

Okay, it's hard to rate a fast food at 5 star when you swing through one time but I think this place needs some counter ratings. If other people had such bad experiences, mine was just the opposite. The lady that took my order was extremely patient, as I hadn't been to a Jack in the Box for years. I pulled through for breakfast and was surpised that I was able to get a burger, even though it was just after 7am. The fries were hot and great flavor (okay, maybe they cooked them fresh being the first order of the day). The jumbo jack also really good. Loved the contrast of the cold lettuce. read more

This restaurant is just bad. Did not want to leave a review but after repeated let downs I just had to. It was 11:38pm on Monday night and they have already told me almost 6 times that their system is down and it hasn't restarted. Other times their frier is down or something is not working. We were completely ignored when we walked in and then an employee came out of the bathroom and walked right past us twice and didn't say a word. We had to ask loudly if anyone was working the front counter and then finally the drive thru employee came over and took our order. And I'm gonna assume every jack in the box should be the same , they hand you the number because they will hand deliver your food to your table. Ooops my mistake, so the" manager" started yelling our number over and over. So my husband said don't get up honey they should know what their job is. I would 0 stars if that was an option . I swear every time I come here they take forever to come to the register when I'm the only one in the dining room and they mess up my order EVERY SINGLE time!!! They're never busy so this just doesn't make sense to me. Not to mention the rude conversations the workers have with each other -- mocking / making fun of customers in the drive thru and they're loud enough for me , the customer waiting to be acknowledged at the counter, can clearly hear every word. This place has officially lost me as a customer. Horrible location. Flies inside, tables dirty, broom just left on the middle of the dining area and it's not even busy. Watched as an employee tried to throw something in the trash, missed it and just walked past the mess. Another employee used the restroom without washing her hands before returning to work. Food took 25 minutes because something was out of stock, they didn't bother to tell us this. They just waited until we asked what was taking so long (we were the only ones inside). Pleasantly surprised by this Jack in the Box. Food was fresh and even though it was packed, they didn't even take that long. I've been to other jacks and they frequently mess up my orders but this one got it right the first time! The afternoon staff was really nice too. Not sure why they have soo many negative reviews maybe because people only take time to complain about stuff but when the staff does a good job they don't bother to compliment them! Let's just say I'm a dirty construction worker and I would rather use my soiled outhouse at the job site than their facility. We stopped here on the way to Fresno. The restrooms were clean and well stocked, always a plus. It is also much less crowded than the one on the Grapevine. Well.... let's just say this place is a pass by stop while traveling... because that's all it's good for is to pass it by while you travel to the next food stop!!! I ordered 2 bacon cheddar potato wedges my wife ordered a double jack and 2 tacos. My wedges had no bacon on them... my wife's burger had what was supposed to be lettuce... it was nasty old lettuce... why not just say I'm sorry we don't have any lettuce instead of serving nasty lettuce... that would be the good food service thing to do.... not here though!!! Then her tacos were drenched in oil... it was so bad it went through the wrap through the trey paper and onto the table... that's just gross!!! Everything was soggy with oil like if it was an oil taco.... My husband and i came to jack in the box on 5/9/18 at 3:10 a.m . The Team leader was mopping. She didn't greet my husband. There wasn't any wet floor signs. She told the cook on the headseat to tell my husband that they aren't taking orders for 45 mins because it's their time to clean. To me this was rediculous because they weren't busy at all. I was a Team Leader for many years and i never refused to take a customer's order just because i was cleaning. Customer's always come first and i worked at a few of the busiest stores in California. Non stop orders were coming through during grave yard shifts. How do they make their sales if their Team Leaders don't even acknowledge the fact that they need to do their jobs correctly? read more

I've always had a 'soft spot' for Jack-in-the-Box because it was my first job at 15 1/2yrs old in the early 80's. Loved working there! Anyways, we stopped at this Jack-in-the-box on our way from Woodlake to Bakersfield for a doctor's appointment. We went in to order instead of our usual trip through the drive thru so we could use the facilities. Our order was very simple - 2 Supreme croissants w/easy mayo & we asked for the bacon to be well-done on 1 of these, then ordered 2 Sausage croissants w/easy mayo. The manager took our order, then she spoke in Spanish to the cooks regarding the bacon request & adding easy mayo to all 4 sandwiches. I always check our orders because I know how easy it is to grab the wrong item especially when you've asked for something special. I'm sure glad I checked this order as soon as we got back in the car. The first thing I noticed was all 4 sandwiches were wrapped so the 'supreme croissant' print was to the outside so I knew I needed to actually look at the sandwiches to see if the wrapper just didn't get turned the right way to show 'sausage croissant' on 2 of them. Nope, they were all 4 supreme croissants - these are the ones that are ham, bacon, egg & cheese. Well, one of them had a 'special' sticker on the wrapper so I guessed that was the one with the bacon well done. When I opened it up the bacon appeared to be done more than the others so we kept that one. I took the 2 supremes that were suppose to be sausage back inside, along with the receipt. The manager asked what was wrong & I told her that we were suppose to get 2 'supreme' & 2 'sausage' croissants but we ended up with 4 'supreme'. Then she asked me what I wanted to do. Umm, I thought it was obvious when I was holding the wrong items & asking for what I ordered was clear. I told her I would like the 2 sausage croissants w/easy mayo like we ordered. She got it taken care of. She was a bit short but I think it was due to the fact they were busy & not very well staffed. I think they may have forgot that it was Veteran's Day & many were traveling from a long weekend. She was running from the cash register, to bagging orders & even taking care of getting things down in the fryer. So, now I've got our corrected sandwiches & go back to the car. Got my hubbies 1st sandwich ready, which was the one we thought had the well done bacon on it. My hubby says 'this thing is really dry'. I checked it to see if they had put the mayo on it. They did, a very small dollop on the bottom piece & somehow they forgot the cheese!!! Not too mention all 4 of them were smashed. For a simple order of 4 croissants they screwed up 3 of them? That doesn't score well in my book!!! Go south a few more miles & there's another one at the Olive Dr. exit on the west side of the freeway, go through the light at Olive Dr. & Knudsen, it's on your right side (north side of Olive Dr.) This is the one I worked at in the early 80's - the food was good then & it's still good now!! read more
